You've literally pissed that money away Ducky!!

Femshep · 09/05/2014 17:31

I'm a bit addicted to POASticks too Ducky. Just bought a pack of thirty cheapies off ebay for two pounds! Bargain Grin

Ducky23 · 09/05/2014 17:40

Bloody love it fem!!! 30 for £2 that is wicked! I just can't stop myself!!!

MrsPopple29 · 09/05/2014 17:50

Haha Kato! Enjoy LSOH tonight, it's one of my favourites...

I'm impressed Ducky! 18 tests! Wow.

Cupcake92 · 09/05/2014 18:02

Wow 18 tests! A new record there Ducky!
30 test for £2 is amazing! Wish u never told me that as I may have to get them! I've already got a first response test and 5 internet cheapies! My tww has only just begun as well!

Femshep · 09/05/2014 18:33

The cheapies work best IME. The amount I must have spent in the past before I knew that is insane.

Cupcake92 · 09/05/2014 20:18

Oo I'm glad I've got a couple of cheapies then :)
The day they make a magical test to extinct the tww to say ur pregnant would be the best day ever!

LuluJakey1 · 09/05/2014 22:11

No AF yet- think is due Mondayish. Can't remember exactly when last one ended 'cos we weren't TTC- although weren't exactly not TTC either. Still feeling a bit odd about the whole idea but I think I just have to bite the bullet and get on with it. Am scared, I think it is a fear of the impact of a baby on our life and relationship; which we both just love. DH is so excited at the thought of a baby and I do want to be a mum and a family but am scared, not excited. Quite hoping AF arrives this month to give me more time to adapt. DH just wants to DTD - said this morning at 6 am, ' An egg could just be still hanging around somewhere and we might just find it' !!! What? Hanging around on a street corner or something? Loitering in a lane? Honestly, I do listen to some rubbish from him . Grin

Ducky23 · 09/05/2014 22:19

I think everyone is scared lulu, but beleive me, 9 months gives you both plenty of time to come to terms with the idea of being parents Smile you will do great I'm sure

LuluJakey1 · 09/05/2014 22:39

It just seems such a momentous thing Ducky . I am not scared I won't be able to be a good mum- if I do ever conceive. I would never do this and not do my best and I never give up with anything once I have made a commitment, and I know DH will be an amazing dad. I am just scared about the future. Don't really know why and it has just started in the last few weeks since we've really been discussing if the time is right. DH thinks once it happens ('cos he's sure his sperm are super sperm and will just find the target and zoom in there of course) I will be fine. But what if I'm not? He says I always am once whatever the thing is happens, I just over-think it before it does. He might be right but I can see so many possible problems ahead- what if I don't get pregnant? What if something goes wrong? What if something awful happens? etc.
Oh God, even as I am writing this I know DH s right. I AM over- thinking and making up scenarios - not a good thing to do, I know.
Time for bed, am tired out this week. DH at pub with football mates. Night night all.
