EnglishGirlAbroad · 27/04/2014 17:30

Oh retro, that's thoroughly shit!! Really feel for you. Polish off that bottle of champagne... Big hug

fancyacupoftea · 27/04/2014 17:30

Okay, so run down... (I might as well)

Things going on that could indicate pregnancy with the rational explanation in brackets
AF was due yesterday (OVd late as stopped peeing on bastard sticks when they ran on Mon 14th having not received a +ve)
Sore boobs (af due)
Cramps (af due)
Got a cold (got a cold)
Sleeping a lot (sleeping off a hangover)
BFNs on IC Fri and Sat (genuinely not pg)

Tilly28 · 27/04/2014 17:34

Don't believe the ICs fancy I got BFN on thur and fri. Then did a frer on Saturday (and 2 more times since) and got BFPs!! Waiting for new ICs to arrive as ordered before got BFP and will be interested to see what shows up on them!

KittyVonCatsington · 27/04/2014 19:09

I'm back!!!!!

Just been on a school Duke of Edinburgh expedition weekend-that's right...camping in this bloody weather! Felt so knackered and covered in mud that I've been catching up whilst having a bath.

Firstly, congratulations to the BFPs - lovely to see those lines on a stick Grin Retro - must be very very confusing for you but am I right that you don't have AF flow yet? I was technically pregnant for 8 days and in that time, I only very got faint to middling lines on a FRER-negatives on CB normal and digis.

I'm very much still on on the April bus but haven't fot a bloody clue what's going on with my body. Definitely on CD27 but ran out of OPKs (had a box of 20!!!!) before I left on Friday. Can feel lots of things going on in my stomach but then I could last cycle and ended up going to CD35 with nothing. Before my chemical, I had regular 30 day cycles so I'm going to hedge my bets and POAS on wednesday-even though I have no idea how many dpo I am (if indeed I actually bloody ovulated at all...)

Glad we still have the Dragon though!!!

fancyacupoftea · 27/04/2014 19:14

You sound in a similar pickle to me Kitty! And glad I have an end-of-cycle buddy. I knew you were still in!

You must be bloody knackered and really fed up of kids. It's bad enough we have to spend the week with them, never mind the weekends too!

MademoiselleG · 27/04/2014 19:59

I will still be lurking guys... FAncy and KItty, can't wait for you guys to poas!

Kitty, you have me worried now. I only have faint lines. Eek! Hope they'll get stronger! I have a batch of 30 ic tests arriving any time from tomorrow too so shall be using them religiously every day with caution.

Retro, I am so proper angry at this whole thing. I honestly want to punch the makers of these tests where it hurst. How bloody dare they??! I am still confused about the fizzy pee thing. Must be an urban myth after all... I hope you're ok. Sending you a very un-MN hug [big hug emoticon].

KittyVonCatsington · 27/04/2014 20:07

Gonna be a tough week with getting all the paperwork sorted for the GCSE and A Level Controlled Assessments before Friday and a Year 10 Parents Evening after school tomorrow, so yes, I'm, a little bit fed up of kids (although strictly of the tween and teen variety!!) until next weekend when I can actually breathe . Currently doing a bit of planning for tomorrow's lessons.

SYMPTOMS:
those spots I was talking about last week on my chin that hurt without even touching ...still there and still bright red!!
Weird bubbling/butterfly sensations in my back (in one spot only on the right for a few days now) and now starting to get them sporadically in my sides.... that I have never felt before (although could be IBS),
pinches on my left/right side but not as definitive as they were a few cycles ago,
little (very little) waves of nausea but that could be due to lack of sleep in the Kent countryside
Creamy white CM

KittyVonCatsington · 27/04/2014 20:11

Don't be worried, Mademoiselle - you will probably be absolutely fine. Lines should get darker roughly every two days as hcg levels should double in that time - don't freak when testing every day, if the rise is a little more gradual than that Grin As we know from these boards, bad news happens but we can't live without hope. Dragon

fancyacupoftea · 27/04/2014 20:22

Any of those symptoms similar to last time kitty?

I just ran to the loo with cramps and a moist gusset, all ready to reach for the tampons. Nothing there.

fancyacupoftea · 27/04/2014 20:22

I HAD TO DO MOIST GUSSET

Littlebear81 · 27/04/2014 20:41

So sorry to hear what's happened Retro. It truly sucks. I'd always thought a BFN means it might not be showing but a BFP was pretty much guaranteed to be right. I can't believe they can sell those tests. Angry

Hope you're ok and have had a belated boozy birthday celebration Wine

KittyVonCatsington · 27/04/2014 20:53

Only had these ones fancy that were included in my list of SYMPTOMS before:

pinches on my left/right side
nausea
Creamy white CM

But then, as that wasn't a viable pregnancy, I keep hoping that different symptoms mean something better - if I get the same symptoms, I might worry that it' happening all over again, if you see what I mean?

MademoiselleG · 27/04/2014 21:01

Thank you Kitty and good luck with mammoth week. I'm in exactly the same boat -Y9 p. eve rather than y 10- and can't bare to think about it. In complete denial and watching GOT!

fancyacupoftea · 27/04/2014 21:09

I just have to get through the next 2 weeks until Yr11 and Yr12 go on exam leave. They are draining me.

Yeah I do see what you mean Kitty. I do read lots of people saying they have different symptoms for different pregnancies so it makes sense.

Arrrgh I hate not knowing. I'm now convinced I OVd late and completely missed it, hence late af.

KittyVonCatsington · 27/04/2014 21:38

I hate not knowing if I ovulated or not -makes it so much harder, don't you agree!?

fancyacupoftea · 27/04/2014 22:03

Yes, definitely. But with 3 months in a row of not knowing if and when I ovulated I'm torn between giving up trying to work it out (ditching the OPKs etc) or upping my game in trying to catch it (i.e. doubling OPKs)!

RetroHippy · 27/04/2014 22:20

Thank you to everyone for being so lovely. Today has been a bit crap to be honest, but I've cracked on with the school work and DH has been wonderful. He's really looked after me.

I've had evap lines on ics before, but this was a line. I was definitely under the impression that 'a line's a line,' but I won't be trusting a single bfp again unless it's backed up with three more and a bump

Told DH we're going to nail it this cycle. I've ordered my IC OPKs ready and I'm going to temp again. Looking back, we've consistently missed dtd the two days before I've ovulated, so that is definitely being rectified this month.

Onward to a February baby!
