Hello! Sorority reunion was a blast. la, we totally WERE the 'a bit off the wall' group, so not at all like what you've seen in American cinema (although a lot of Greek groups ARE very much like what you've seen, alas). Because of our totally unique and kick-ass personalities, we had a hard time competing with the cookie-cutter groups, never hit our member quota and ultimately got kicked off campus. The chapter re-colonized a few years ago, which was very exciting for us old-timers. The girls, though very nice, dress like there's a fine to pay for every extra inch of clothing. Yowza. I think I saw actual ass cheeks. Very fun time, though! Spent a lot of time with an old friend, the kind that you can just pick right back up with even if you haven't seen each other in years. That's a really great relationship to have.

Nothing new to report here. It has been exactly one week so far since I found out they were able to freeze our embryo. I saw the clinic's number pop up on my phone today and my heart stopped beating for a minute I thought maybe it was the genetic testing results but they were just confirming my acupuncture appointment for tomorrow. Foiled!

lil I don't know what I'd do. I'm a terrible liar so I would probably wait a cycle, even though you'd probably be fine at Day 12. Every clinic/radiologist has different guidelines. Mine said Day 10 but I have seen some (at least here in the U.S.) that allow you to do it as late as Day 12. But they want your lining to be very thin for the procedure and I'd hate for you to have to go through it a second time because your timing was off -- once was enough, thank you very much!

rpopz I may be being a little unfair...he started taking fertilaid after the results...but he does forget to take it when he's supposed to. I just think the caffeine is such an easy thing to change so y not try it.

red glad u had a great time. hopefully it helped the week go quicker. if we had sororities I would either have not been accepted into one, or being the determined cow I am, I'd have made my own...for just me! I too have a friend I can go ages without seeing and still be like we spoke yesterday. x post red! apart from the one cycle I randomly ovd on CD14 and 2at cd18 I normally don't ov before cd20, and last week's ultrasound at cd14 my lining was really thin....so this is y I'm considering risking it. it would be sods law I'd ov cd12 tho!

I am on the ttc threads but they are all scientific and I kind of feel a bit left out, as I told them I was just going to wing it and enjoy baby making and they are talking about opks and things. so any way 31 years, old 2 previous kids, just got periods back after 10 months off depo. Planning on doing another test on 5th may if AF doesn't arrive on 3rd.

Don't feel guilty Lala. My effort at reducing caffeine has been shocking. We all have some things we're adamant about and other things we're more relaxed about. I have a bee in my bonnet about the alcohol for personal reasons (and I think the government guidelines are so open to misinterpretation that they're ridiculous - but that's another soapbox moment ). But I'm pretty lax about other things such as diet and remembering my vitamins, which is just as bad in the end. And also I think it's much easier to be 'good' when you have finally seen the elusive BFP.

wil I totally agree I think there's massive opportunity for misinterpretation. I reckon I'll be pretty strict with alcohol - a few years ago I stopped drinking for 6 months and only started again when we went on holiday.

Welcome gossip! There is probably a surprising amount of technical talk on here too considering its a JSing Fred but we do all just shag when we can. There's a new shagger if the month initiative for encouragement but this months record seems to be 12 so far.

I understand why we make these lifestyle changes to give ourselves the best chance but it isn't as straight forward as 'stop having all the nice stuff and a baby will happen' so go easy on yourself!

not advocating letting yourself go to TTC, just putting all the work we go through into context! A little slip here and there is nothing and unlikely to harm any potential babies.

DTD last night after Mr gossip had a little wobble about loosing the romance of it all, I think he just doesn't want it to feel like were only having it to get pregnant, what he doesn't get is were only having it to satisfy my sex drive, and if I had my way it would be at least twice a day, however impossible with 3 kids running around! and he'd be pooped. Getting pregnant is the bonus of course, but after the emotional upheaval of getting pregnant with ds1 and spending 2 days in tears every time AF arrived, I don't want to fall into the same trap again, also it seems that the less I do try, or when it seems life isn't suited to having a baby at that moment, I get pregnant! with ds1 we moved into a little first floor flat, I fell pregnant during the move, and ds2 was one of those little accidents that just makes everyone who desperately wants one sick! which is why were at jsing.

It is shit timing. I'm so annoyed I could cry. There's only two of them working at DHs place today as the third one phoned in sick... so no chance of a long lunch or early finish for him.
