And the anti-biotics have given me thrush. And the only thing that touches it quickly for me is the oral tablet. So I am now sat with natural yoghurt (bought in anticipation) smeared on my nether regions. Glad DH is not home.

WHY ME GOD, WHY MEEEEEEEEE??????!!!!!!

katecupoftea · 18/03/2014 19:59

Thrush? Sounds like a SYMPTOM to me!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 18/03/2014 20:00

Dd is nearly 14. I really don't mind her having my bras. I'm just sad she's growing up so fast. Ladies cherish every moment, you blink and they're all grown up Sad I think it's highlighted as ages my only girl among many boys poor love!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 18/03/2014 20:02

Retro I used to suffer terribly with thrush! Get thyself some pro biotics my dear Grin they work better than yogurt. A friend once misinterpreted the live yogurt thing and thought she could just use any yogurt! She put fiendish feet on her fanjo!!! GrinGrinGrin

katecupoftea · 18/03/2014 20:03

Munch bunch on your flaps

RetroHippy · 18/03/2014 20:03

Oh kate, if I weren't on ABs I would be adding it to the list. So far, every symptom I've had could also be attributed to being ill.

For. Fuck. Sake.

RetroHippy · 18/03/2014 20:05
Grin

Actually pissing myself laughing here! Fiendish Feet! I used to get those in my lunchbox Grin

Boots in the morning then...

No petit filous fanjos here...

MrsExtraOrdinary · 18/03/2014 20:08

Pessaries and the 2% cream a perfectly safe too retro, if you don't fancy fiendish feet! It's just the oral tablet you have to avoid.

Bloody thrush you have my complete sympathy. I had it all pg chronically with my eldest and sent xh out to buy a fan, I was In So much pain I didn't care how ridiculous I looked fanning my fanjo!

KittyVonCatsington · 18/03/2014 20:09

I so wish I could 'Mumsnet' at work-I keep missing things!

Firstly, congratulations, impatience - have voted yes on both pictures. Second pic looks like mine did at 11dpo last month so that's encouraging for a sticky bean!!

Secondly,MissMrsMummy - loving the capitals!!!

Thirdly, loving the conversation on nips and boobs-you all crack me up!!!

I have a SYMPTOM for you kate, Dry mouth for third day running-seriously, cannot get rid, not matter how much Vaseline I use on my lips and how much water I drink!!

Tilly28 · 18/03/2014 20:10

Kate, I also didn't know about Canyouseealine!! Iv been merrily voting away! I can't wait to poas but on the otherhand really nervous. Think I'm going to wait until AF is due on Saturday (if I actually have 28 day cycles), that's if it doesn't come before then!

katecupoftea · 18/03/2014 20:15

I want to poas now just to put my picture up on canyouseealine!

Definitely a SYMPTOM Kitty! In all seriousness though, did you have that last time?

I have to go and do work but we've just got the access to our wedding photos online and now don't want to move

PunkyPod · 18/03/2014 20:24

Yaaayyyyyy impatience that's wonderful!!!Thanks Wana give us the TTC low down? Any tricks of the trade? I hope this is a super sticky one Grin

Got painful boobs here... 7/8dpo.

Treaclepie19 · 18/03/2014 20:25

Whenever I've used the cream and/or pessaries in the past it just seems to make it worse Sad

When I get it now I just go straight for the oral tablet and grit my teeth for a day or so till it kicks in, no creams etc.

Oh god, this is going to be my 'miserable pregnancy symptom' isn't it?

Does Yakkult or similar work? (Eaten, not rubbed in!)

KittyVonCatsington · 18/03/2014 20:42

Definitely a SYMPTOM Kitty! In all seriousness though, did you have that last time?

No - first time.

To be honest, I only really started getting symptoms after my BFP; I needed to pee a lot, had sharp twinges on my left side that was the same side I ovulated on (probably not a good sign in hindsight) waves of nausea from ovulation (so progesterone at first) that continued till the day before I got missed AF and was so hot at night I struggled to sleep in the three days before missed AF. Why are our bodies such enigmas???!!!

On a light-hearted note, I didn't know about countdowntopregnancy.com until the January bus - got really addicted to that! Blush

MrsExtraOrdinary · 18/03/2014 20:43

Yes or actimel. You can have several a day if you need to. You may find the lower lose pessaries better over 3 nights than the single pessary at a higher dose for 1 night. Usually the cream that is offered is 1%. Which does nothing but make you feel slippery. The 2% eases the omg I've got to scratch itch Wink

MrsExtraOrdinary · 18/03/2014 20:44

Oh and no white bread, white wine or mushrooms! So there!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 18/03/2014 20:45

Oh the thrush stories I could tell! One consultant claimed the reason I had repeated thrush was because I didn't iron my gusset! Errr hello!!! Grin

RetroHippy · 18/03/2014 20:45

Nope. The cream burns! Obviously I have a sensitive fanjo Hmm. I'll be buying shares in actimel then!

RetroHippy · 18/03/2014 20:47

I don't eat white bread and I inky drink red, so safe on that front! I can cope without mushrooms too Grin. Not sure about gusset ironing though Confused

Thank you for the advice. My recurring thrush actually went away when I swapped tampons for a mooncup. I have very light flow from day 2/3 of my period so I think they just dried me out.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 18/03/2014 20:48

Oh that's pants! I have found the pro biotic tablets good but doubt they are safe when ttc.

RetroHippy · 18/03/2014 20:57

Well I suppose that's one positive if I get a bfn on Thursday. I'll grab the treatment tomorrow so I've got it ready, and a vat of actimel in the meantime.

katecupoftea · 18/03/2014 21:07

IRON YOUR GUSSET?!!? That's set me off...

PolytheneGirl · 18/03/2014 21:12

I'm sat in my pjs watching Elementary thinking hmmm 'I wonder if Sherlock could decipher all these SYMPTOMS!'

It's impossible to do anything without the thought of ttc popping into your head!

NeuroticSweetTalk · 18/03/2014 21:14

Hi all not been on in a while since it was getting to be too much TTC and all that with all the BFNs I was getting. Congrats to anyone from the October bus (the last bus I was on) and everyone else that's had their BFP during my MN vacation.
