Second day of af and keep checking the boards but don't feel like I fit in anywhere at the moment or have anything to say with two weeks till I ovulate! Anyone else in the same boat?? Really hope this is our month even though it's only our 2nd ttc. Going to get conception vits for me and other half and also try an ovulation pack so looking forward to getting to grip with those.

Couldn't agree more chair when I was young and having fun I dtd with a condom which split so I took the morning after pill the text day just in case and a month down the line there I was pregnant with someone I only knew for 5 mins and far too young for a child! And now month 2 ttc it feels like it's not happening now that I feel everything is right!! Just another thing to get me down!

Argh! Pains on my left side this morning, is this ov and cd11/12 fake?! Feel very "dry" tho.... Was meant to dtd last night for luck but DH was tired and had a 'tiny' headache so I let him off. Wish I didn't now! CD16 today.

I thought it would be easy too chaircat, my sister is actually one of those "lucky lucky" girls, however she doesn't think so :-( It "ruined" her early 20's when her friends were having fun and she was stuck with her "accident". She doesn't know how lucky she is! She has 2 lovely girls now that she still doesn't fully appreciate, always palming them off on our retired parents so she can "live her life as a woman not someones mum". Makes me angry and sad. Rant over!

Victoria which Opk's are you going to try? I am just guessing at the moment as well as cycle all over the shop! Think I OV'd at the weekend as bad cramps on one side on Sat and Sun. I think I might try them and temperature monitoring if there is no BFP this month.

I've no idea Mel I haven't a clue what to get and when to use them. Hovered a bit down the aisle in Tesco last week but came to no conclusion.

rpopz I'm guessing you don't use opk either if you are unsure when you ovd like me! I actually have a pain in my right side at this very moment when I always have pain in left. Maybe my other ovary has decided to start working all of a sudden? Wish we had dtd last night! Grrrrrrrrr! Today may be too late! Or the little guys from Sat night better be still going!

Lol victoria I have exact same conversation going thru my head right now... my period tracker app said ovulation was Sat (and I did feel quite achey and pelvic-y last week) so we dtd every day last week! But yesterday and today I feel a bit crampy almost like I'm getting AF and very (ahem) ... wet! Hopefully the swimmers from Sunday will still be in there!

Think will get some clearblue opks from amazon if this month isn't the month... has surely got to make it easier!!

Hmm, I think I may have missed ovulation Blush

I'm on CD16 and still patiently waiting for the little line on the OPK to be the same colour as the control line. Except I think it may have happened on CD12. We examined the OPK and part of the line was as dark as the control line, but the other half wasn't. we dtd anyway

Since then the OPK has been getting lighter, almost unable to see the test line at all. Now I've just noticed that my CM has gone creamy. So I'm guessing I may have ovulated on CD12.

I'll carry on using the OPKs for a few more days as I had a 34 day cycle last month but I'm expecting it to just be negative.

I thought OPKs would stop all this wondering. I was obviously wrong. Grin

Rpopz, I felt crampy like af crampy earlier today too, never had that before! Also over weekend I had sore lumpy boobs, don't understand that bit either, that usually comes week before af.

Only on CD10 Sad I thought we were nowhere near ovulation yet.

I'm not feeling it this month to be honest. I've made it too clinical with the OPKs - there's no excitement. We've only DTD on CD10, 12 and 15.

Interesting Vic! I can't remember if I get these every month or not!! I'm hyper analysing everything at the moment because I'm so convinced this month is the month for some reason...

That's my worry about opks Hazel. They make things quite pressurised. But I've become a bit of a dtd nazi anyway just from using my period tracker app!! So I guess at least with opks its a bit more of a sure thing. My cycle is always 34- 35 days which makes it harder to pinpoint ov I think!

So I've had a couple of positive opks, negative today so I assume the big event is over! However I've not had any cramps or felt different at all.. Do other people get no symptoms?

I just get ewcm really hibou. I probably get a few cramps but I also get a bit constipated due to IBS so could just be that!

This is the first time I've managed to track ovulation and find a peak so I'm all optimistic, even though realistically i know it probably won't happen and I'll have to spend more ££ on opks. Grrrr.

Hibou I I feel the same first month using opk and it made me realise that I had ovulated a good few days earlier than I thought so u am feeling hopeful this month. I didn't find it anymore stressful or regimented like people are expected you have to use fmu and because we work full time we wouldn't dtd till the evening and we could still choose if we dtd or not!

I was really trying to take the relaxed route this month so haven't been using anything to check/chart my cycle and just been dtd regularly (were pretty regular) I got my positive opk on cd21 last cycle so kind of assumed it would be around same but now I worry it was earlier and I know we didn't do it for a few days earlier on due to sickness! :( I wish I didnt care! My sister in law just had a baby so making me think about it even more!!
