Second day of af and keep checking the boards but don't feel like I fit in anywhere at the moment or have anything to say with two weeks till I ovulate! Anyone else in the same boat?? Really hope this is our month even though it's only our 2nd ttc. Going to get conception vits for me and other half and also try an ovulation pack so looking forward to getting to grip with those.

Was supposed to DTD tonight as am likely ovulating on wed but hubby has come home from bucks weekend, stinking and hungover and gross. I'd rather stick my finger in an electrical socket than go near him

How long do you reckon is a good time to lie down for with legs in the air after dtd. I'm worried about swimmers escaping but need to go to the shops.

You don't need to do that star, its a myth. I read you should lay down for 30 minutes after if you can, but there's nothing to prove it makes a difference either way.

I was worried about that too, but then read an article that said the act of them actually 'getting up there' happens in the seconds after ejaculation (gross word) and the rest is just wastage.

We used clear blue digital. I ovulate waaaay earlier than I believed. So I reckon I missed it for a couple of months.

Last month I ovd around day 18 and had 32 day cycle. This month I'm sure I ovd day 12 and all the feelings have gone now. Dtd day 11 and 13. Mind you last month I assumed I ovd day 12 too and then had a 2nd bout of feelings day 18 which I kinda dismissed and we didn't dtd after day 16, thought they might have survived tho.... Maybe this month will be similar, or completely different again! Its never predictable!

I'm in ov week according to my phone tracker app thing (well, ovd yesterday) so heading for 2ww. Think if it doesn't happen this month I'm going to take the plunge and get some opks even though I've been trying to avoid. I have a long cycle so makes it a bit harder to be certain I think. Though have felt fairly crampy this week so fingers crossed.

Decided to buy a few bits for may when we start afresh after our break. I'm going to get some opks, evening primrose oil (tried cough syrup & didn't increase much for me. Wishing this month away now!! Post Christmas baby cycle would put me at 18th Jan which I can deal with!xx

lol linda !!! tbh we havnt stopped trying! :( but with my old job i was under so much stress that it didnt help anything. I found a new job in nov but still decided 2 years was long enough to go to the docs for help. the clomid defiantly helped last month with predicting ov and regulating my cycle so fx for april!

Forgot I'd started on this thread a while ago! I'm on cd22 of cycles that have been around 40 days [hmmm]. Don't think I'm gonna ov for another week or so, but got some cheapy and clear blue opks. Determined to get my first every solid smiley face this month, never mind a bfp!
