We're are getting dangerously close to 1000 posts on the other bus so thought I would start another one. Will update stats in another post. Fingers Crossed for lots more BFPs Grin

STILL nothing. I actually think the spots are from where I've..err...been checking I'm a bit sore down there (I really am cringing, you know!) and it's pink/red, not a lot of it...looks like when a red pen is dabbed on soft paper if that makes sense? Oh! You know when your DH shaves, cuts himself and there's a dab of blood on the toilet paper he's stuck to his face (please say it's not just mine that does this?)...it's exactly like that.

Still have a dull, crampy ache that feels like AF should be here.

Stuck at work and will be for another half hour so won't be able to get a test tonight. won't be able to have a much wanted glass of wine either

katecupoftea · 25/02/2014 18:49

I've got home and tested with 2 ICs (different brands) and both resounding BFN. Frer still on my shelf staring at me.

hazel hope you have more luck testing than me!

Hazelbrowneyes · 25/02/2014 18:52

FRER tomorrow? FMU is best isn't it? Fingers crossed for you!

mama31 · 25/02/2014 19:03

Kitty good luck! All sounds very promising for you.

And good luck to everyone else poas tomorrow. I will be poas also, will be 10dpo but figure the spotting is af on the way so fully expecting a bfn, might as well join in on the poas fun though :)

katecupoftea · 25/02/2014 19:11

Okay, small update. Went back to one of the ICs and there is a smudge where the second line should be. Husband confirms the smudge but it's not a line as such. Have got one of the same tests and dipped it. Waiting to see if the same smudge appears. The frer is looking more tempting.

RhiBee29 · 25/02/2014 19:14

kate my IC's barely showed anything, get on the frer!

katecupoftea · 25/02/2014 19:35

I cracked and got the frer out. Nothing, so think the smudge must have been evaporation line. So no line, no af.

Spotti · 25/02/2014 19:36

What did it do, Rhi? Did you get another line?

Someone needs to stop me from buying ICs on amazon...I've got the page open and they are sat there in my basket, just waiting for me to click 'continue to checkout'. Please stop me. I'm driving myself mad enough as it is by trying to not try and symptom spot. I know I will turn into a POAS addict almost immediately if I buy some ICs...but then they are less than £3...how do is say no? Somebody PLEASE stop me I'm asking you to stop me but I'm pretty sure that I will cave and buy some at some point Tell me to put the basket down and walk away from the amazon page...

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 25/02/2014 19:36

poas tonight when got home and bfn with ic so tried a boots test and bfn

still have pains/cramps down below - really angry right about now. if af is going to turn up i wish she would bl**dy hurry up!! due tomorrow as per my app. really feeling down

Spotti · 25/02/2014 19:37

I meant kate.

mama31 · 25/02/2014 19:47

Sorry for the bfn's ladies, so annoying! We could do with some good news on here.

katecupoftea · 25/02/2014 19:54

Nope, no extra lines! Only that original one on the IC that is probably an evap line.

Spotti if I had the willpower I would have got less ICs and instead another frer as I've ended up getting both anyway!

emily sorry about the BFN. But remember - it isn't over until the pink lady bleeds!

RhiBee29 · 25/02/2014 20:07

spotti had lines on 10 and 12dpo with ic but they were so faint thought they were evap lines. Got a bfp last night on a clear blue, off to no mistaking it! Off to Dr for confirmation tomoro.

Writerwannabe83 · 25/02/2014 20:11

God this bus is frustrating - why aren't these BFP's appearing for you all!! The suspense is unbearable!!! Grin

I think this is the most confusing bus I have ever ridden.....

Writerwannabe83 · 25/02/2014 20:14

RhiBee - don't get too excited about seeing the GP - they don't confirm anything. They just tell you to book in and see the midwife - in fact in a lot of GP surgeries you go direct to the midwife and bypass the GP altogether. If you do see a GP however they are usually pretty much happy to take your word for it. When I saw mine she just said congratulations, gave me a pack about pregnancy and told me to wait and hear from the midwife. I think my appointment came through about 10 days later but she didn't do anything to 'confirm it' either - just lots of paperwork.

KittyVonCatsington · 25/02/2014 20:29

I've been having sharp pains (mainly on the left as I ovulated on the left this cycle, but there have been some on the right) that make me take a sharp intake of breath. Is that the same as you, kate?

I still think that ever pregnancy test is different and we probably get more false negatives than we should. Keep testing until AF arrives (like me!!!) and you never know Wink

writer I think just actually telling another person will make it seem real! Thanks for letting me know what to expect though, don't have a clue! I do love filling in forms so quite looking forward to the paperwork, honestly I'm the weirdo that approaches the man with the clipboard to fill in a survey Blush

katecupoftea · 25/02/2014 20:36

kitty I've been getting that but on the right!

KittyVonCatsington · 25/02/2014 20:41

I read on Google, (I know I should stay away from it!) that these pains, too far away from ovulation, means that the uterus is stretching to help aid implantation, kate. As long as they are not prolonged and constant, i.e not stop hurting, they are Good signs!

Grin Grin

I once made this mistake but only because the guy was EXTREMELY sexy!! Before I knew it I'd signed some paperwork to pay £25 a month to his Charity - when I walked away from him I realised that I didn't even understand the Charity, he completely took advantage of me being besotted Grin It took me about 6 months to build up the courage to ring them and cancel my direct debit Grin

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/02/2014 21:06

Writer how are you doing? Smile

toots123 · 25/02/2014 21:12

Evening ladies!

Hope everyone is well!
im cd46 and nothing at all happening except some light cramps. Wondering when I should think about going to the gp! Frers are on the way so hoping for a bfp this weekend hut obviously not hopeful!

Writerwannabe83 · 25/02/2014 21:20

I'm good thanks MrsExtraOrdinary Smile

Well, I'm ridiculously huge and uncomfortable but apart from that I'm staying chirpy!!! Baby is growing at a ridiculous speed!!! I have to have growth scans every 4 weeks and all his measurements (head, legs, abdomen) are plotted on graphs and he is sitting above the 99th percentile for all three!! I was last scanned just over 3 weeks ago and he is already over 1.5lbs heavier than they'd expect him to be!! I'm being scanned again this Thursday so am anticipating further growth, I've joked to DH that I'm g0oing to request they C-section me there and then Grin There's just no more room for him and his movements are sooo painful!! But, I'm counting down the days until his arrival now and getting very excited!! Smile

KittyVonCatsington · 25/02/2014 21:29

That was so lovely to read, Writer, very excited on your behalf!

OP posts:
Writerwannabe83 · 25/02/2014 21:35

Thanks Kitty - we finally have a name sorted for him too and so all we need now is for him to arrive. I'm hoping he is the spitting image of DH. I made myself cry the other day just thinking about the birth -well I cry every time I think about it actually. It's looming very quickly and reality is starting to hit!!! Smile
