Hi everyone, I'm taking a plunge and starting our folicking March bus off to a start.

putting my hand out for the march bus! watch the puddles!

cycle 8 , one mc in Nov at seven weeks.
AF started ...well...spotting started six days ago but very heavy from last night.
I guess bfp due 13th march ish...

Thank you for the reassurance! None of my friends are in my position and only one has a kiddie, so I don't feel I have many people to rant too! Dh just sort of laughs at me because of my obsession! (Not in a horrible way) the men just don't understand, I feel like such a baby bore already! So glad I can come on here and rant!

Strawberry - rant away

In the waiting rooms at the docs. Wanting some sort of reassurance that my periods being consistently irregular (is that even possible?!) is completely normal and won't be an issue at all. Was kind of hoping that several years on the pill would have sorted me out but it appears not.

I'm telling her I've been off the pill since Sept but not mentioning that we only chucked the condoms at Christmas so if don't look too much like a crazy lady .

Thanks MrsB! Wanted to update my 'due date' (for my BFP which will come...I'm determined!) but not entirely sure what it is... would it be the date that ERTD/AF would be due? If so then it would be...um...(looks at the calendar)..some time around the 10th of March. Would have been the 3rd but this cycle was a bit longer than normal :-/.

Hey Muddy . Do you have any dates to add to our list? (I feel so special being part of the bus list! Will be so chuffed when I can be added to the BFP list tries not to be too excited over something which hasn't happened yet.

The doctors verdict: relax and enjoy trying

She did give me the forms for a day 3 and day 21 blood test, but as she pointed out, the day 21 test is pretty useless as it's more of a '7 days before AF' test. If I don't know when AF is likely to be making an appearance it's not much good.

I can't decide whether to bin temporarily put in a cupboard my OPKs and basal thermometer or just keep at it. I'm just not patient enough to wait a few months while I 'relax'.

I'll see how this cycle goes then go for the day 3 test if it's another weird one if I'm not pg (hopeful)

Thanks MrsB! Hi muddy, strawberry and smorgasborgen! Just wondering what the blood tests are testing for retro? Is it to figure out ovulation, or for future PG tests? Sorry to be nosy, just curious as I'm also a bit irregular, and haven't been to the doc to discuss it yet.

I'm sure the doctor is right ... But relax while TTC If only! I would love to not stress and worry about every little part of it.

Maybe you could ditch the opka and temping this month and dtd every other day throughout your cycle?

That's the problem SaRaRa, during the week DH us generally too knackered, and I don't want to force him into it every other day unless I know it's worth it

Last night I said part of this baby making was that he didn't just get away with having sex at the weekend. He laughed and called me crazy

Goodfruit, the day 3 test is for hormone levels (I think it can kind of predict your remaining fertility, but that's just from googling). The day 21 test looks for progesterone levels to see if you've actually ovulated. Sorry, not much help.

Hi can I grab a seat at the back where I'll sit quietly and wait yet again please?! Really getting hacked off with this now as I hoped to fall pregnant again before my original due date which is this Saturday (happy bloody valentines weekend!) but it wasn't to be as AF arrived today and as it's now 14 months of TTC I'm beginning to lose hope. Waiting on bloods and DH little swimmers to come back and I have my referral on the 14th March to see if anything is really wrong so I know I am further along than most but some days I just feel so low and I just had to get it out....sorry for rambling and bringing everyone down
Can someone add me to the stats please and I think I'll take my moany arse off to bed!

Retro, yes I get what you mean re not wanting to force DH into it if it's not crucial, especially if he's knackered. DH had some, ahem, performance issues last night and couldn't finish. He was mortified, I felt so sorry for him. I wanted to cry as it was an important CD I think but pretended it was fine. I am worried it will play on his mind now and he will have the same trouble today. If anyone has any tips please let me know. Sorry for TMI.

Quick question, has anyone tried clear blue advance opk's? Thinking about getting some x

Strawberry, I'm using them this month for the first time. They are good as you get a smiley face or not so you don't have to try and decipher lines like on the other kind (I always struggled with this). But having just got my 5th flashing smiley in a row - you are supposed to get flashing for two days (high fertility) then solid for two (peak fertility) am starting to doubt whether they are working for me They are expensive too!

Genni is using them too and I think she has been getting on better than me!

strawberry as Sara said I've been using the COS this month. So far I've got on ok with them, they were easy to use. I guess time will tell if they work! They are expensive but if they are correct then I ovulate much earlier than I thought so have been useful.

sara could you use valentines day to romance him a little and take the pressure off. It's difficult I know though, I think there is pressure on them to "perform" isn't there.

Keepingmyconvertible and MuddyLady, I'll update the stats in a few days.
Hopefully we don't get too many passengers from the bus before (no-one likes a packed bus!!!!) but in case we do, I'll do the update all at the same time.

Can I ask, all the ladies that have taken Evening Primrose/Omega 3 - did you see a change in ewcm in the first month of taking them.
I'm taking 2x1000mg of EPO and 1x??mg of Omega 3. Is this enough?

TTC has helped me understand my body a little better (Although I wish I didn't have to)
At first I thought I'd just dtd and get pregnant...
Then I thought, maybe I don't know when I ovulate, so bought some IC opks. Of course, if I know when I ovulate, I'm bound to get pregnant....
Then I realised that I may be lacking in the ewcm area, so I've bought some EPO and popping tablets every morning and night..... So Its definitely going to happen this cycle. Right? I really hope it does (as I'm sure we all do).

mrsb I've got poor or no ewcm & I've been taking both for ages, hence trying the cough syrup. However figure it's not doing any harm to keep taking them. Epo should only be taken up to ov.

Before ttc had loads of ewcm & had no idea what it was, thought it was gross! Now, nada, zilch! Bloody typical! Mother Nature can be a b*tch!
