Congrats squeaky and bump I am defo testing before my holiday now, I'll be 10dpo then! What tests did you use...were they early tests or just normal ones?

Must not get hopes up, Must not get hopes up, Must not get hopes up...

missmrsmummy · 15/02/2014 14:01

Well done squeaky - what great news! Just what we needed (smile)

missmrsmummy · 15/02/2014 14:03

Smile I meant!

mama31 · 15/02/2014 14:08

Congrats squeaky! Nice to see some more feb bfp's!

Pinkfairy88 · 15/02/2014 14:09

Congrats bump and squeaky :) fingers crossed for more bfps! When are you going on holiday rhi? I'm trying to hold out until next Friday/sat! 10dpo is still pretty early so if you get a bfn don't lose all hope. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 15/02/2014 14:10

Another one! Woohoo! Congrats squeaky!! Grin
What made you test early? I'm 10dpo also but I'm gonna wait til 16dpo if the bitch doesn't arrive. So tempted tho!!

LittleMissSunshine33 · 15/02/2014 14:19

Congrats Bump and squeaky!! How exciting!

It's nice to read all my many symptoms last month may not have all been in my head after all (although I'm sure some were). Still on my two day OV time so DTD and trying to relax!! Can't believe it's mid Feb already!

KittyVonCatsington · 15/02/2014 14:19

Hey mama31 -check out this link and especially Fertility Fact Number 2. Totally dispels the thought that sperm has to re-stock!

Congratulations Squeaky!

RhiBee29 · 15/02/2014 14:20

pinkfairy going on hols on weds, just a city break but to a country famous for its beer so would like to know before I go to avoid the alcohol dilemma! Not actually leaving the country til early the next day so may sneak a stick in my bag. I honestly think I've gone mad!

english that is some impressive willpower!

mama31 · 15/02/2014 14:41

Hey Kitty! Thanks for the link! Feeling more positive about it now as we have had a lot of action! But seems that link would suggest that's only a good thing! Will keep at it then! :)

How you doing Kitty? Where are you in your cycle?

mama31 · 15/02/2014 14:49

Kitty just read back, I see your in the midst of the 2ww! When will you poas??

KittyVonCatsington · 15/02/2014 14:55

Still not totally understanding my cycle, mama31 but I'm cd24 and roughly 7dpo give or take since my positive smiley. Going to wait till next Thursday to POAS as had a 30 day cycle last month but could be waiting longer. Think I may have a short luteal phase but who knows-this is so so complicated to work out!

Pinkfairy88 · 15/02/2014 14:59

That's understandable, I would feel the same! We're all a little mad here :) I personally think it helps!

mama31 · 15/02/2014 15:01

I know! It ain't an easy process! So you will test at 12dpo??

I'm going to (try my best to) wait and not poas before 10dpo....ive never waited! I have zero will power! Spotting usually starts 8-10dpo but hoping the vitex/maca sorts that out for me! So I should be testing around 26th Feb! Can't believe I'm talking of poas and I'm only at ovulation stage....i just can't wait!!!! grrrr....too obsessed!!

KittyVonCatsington · 15/02/2014 15:05

I wish you could just snap your fingers and, Hey Presto! BFP...

Squeakybeaky · 15/02/2014 15:38

Thanks everyone, for those that have asked - I used an FR, I've been testing with ic's since 8dpo with very very faint lines but I ran out and had to test, I had an FR so used that and there was a line.

I test early because I'm impatient and because I got early BFP with other pregnancies. Also having loads of symptoms so figured if I was having symptoms it would show something in a test.

I did smep this month, same as bump! Congrats bumpngrind :)

KittyVonCatsington · 15/02/2014 15:58

BTW, ladies, forgot to say, my Valentine's Day present from DH was a Refexology voucher. He really has been listening!!

mama31 · 15/02/2014 16:01

Thanks for the deets squeaky!

Kitty wow! That's a fabulous present for Vday! Top marks to your DH!!!!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 15/02/2014 16:06

Basically Rhi I'm only holding out because I had a mc last time I got a BFP and I'm shit scared. I know waiting a few days is not going to protect this pregnancy, but that's what I've decided and feel that I should stick to it. I know it makes no sense! Hope AF doesn't come before then ... I'm kind of expecting it on mon/tues! Hmm

RhiBee29 · 15/02/2014 16:13

english sounds very sensible to me! I still have an inner conflict of whether to test early. I think all notion of good sense has gone out the window for most of us here, we have ttcitis (which should be a recognised disease). I wish you lots of luck this cycle.

BumpNGrind · 15/02/2014 16:14

I used an internet cheapy and a frer test today and they were both very very strong lines. I'm hoping that's a really good sign, either that or its twins! (omg i shouldn't even joke, the thought is terrifying)

I was just thinking of the other new things I've tried this month. I had a session of reiki which was very relaxing. It was an offer from a deals website so i didn't hold out much hope but I did feel cleansed which may have helped. I also took agnus castus for a few days before ovulation, but i ovulated very early this month so I doubt that had much of a chance to work.

i did the smep this month but because i ovulated really early we got caught out by the +opk, so ended up dtd 5 nights in a row, which made me worry about the quality of the sperm, but clearly it didn't matter, and ahem, neither did oral sex before.

Congrats squeeky, glad the smep worked for you too.

mama31 · 15/02/2014 16:15

English, I think we all just do what is right for us! And if that is right for you, then you stick to it! I only wish I wasn't so impatient as the 2ww is pure hell...constant testing and obsessing...ive tried so hard each month no to do it but it doesn't work...its just my personality...im impatient, impulsive and obsessive so I just embrace that now as fighting against it doesn't work for me!

I could be doing really well, have no IC's in the house and none purchased....but then I'd drive past a shop with no intention of poas or buying one....suddenly I'm driving towards the shop.. next thing I'm in there buying the test and have poas before I know it! I am actually that impulsive! It's redic!!!!!

mama31 · 15/02/2014 16:19

Bump! Wow!!!! Now I'm starting to feel more positive with your deets!!!!

ok so we planned smep, but it didn't happen as we dtd wed, thurs (by accident...whoops!), fri then got pos opk today so will dtd tonight, tomorrow and Mon so that will be 6 in a row! def not smep!!!! :/ also I started agnus castus start of this cycle and have pos opk 1 day early! And the lady doing my reflexology did reiki on me for the last 10mins!!!!!

Well I so hope that our similar experience....may also result in my bfp!!!! That would be immense!

mama31 · 15/02/2014 16:23

Bump what Cd did you ovulate on? And can I ask what you were using the ACastus for? Also can I ask your cycle length? Ok you can tell me to shut up now!!!!

Fabulous that your getting strong lines so early!!! :) DH and I always chat about what if we got twins...tbh the only thing I'd hate about that is the double child care payment...it would not be affordable paying out 800 a month on childcare! that would be my only fear!!! Otherwise it would be amazing! Hard work....but so amazing!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 15/02/2014 16:54

I love your poas insanity Mama! I'm with you on the impatient side of things, but now scared is taking over.
I've got angus castus to take next cycle if only to her normalise my hormones.

I would ABSOLUTELY love twins! My dad is a twin so there's a chance! I don't even care that I'd be the size of a house... I've told DH if twins happen there's no hope in hell I'll go back to work!!
