missmrsmummy · 10/02/2014 21:04

Hahah Rhi! I just lol'd!

Bet he's glad really... If he asked his mates I bet their partners don't want sex all the time at certain times of the month alongside eating weird food and taking strange supplements and watching your wife cycle mid air and sleep with a pillow under her hips

KittyVonCatsington · 10/02/2014 21:58

MrBsMrsB · 11/02/2014 08:21

Morning ladies, Thank u all for the birthday love. I had a lovely day and evening.

congratulations on the line Jones!!!

An hour before we were due to leave for dinner, i got 'that' feeling, went to the bathroom and AF reared her very ugly head. I cried (the hiccup and bogey type of cry). But DH was so sweet and i managed to pick myself up to enjoy dinner and 2 glasses of Asti.

so.... I'll be lurking on this bus watching while you all get your BFPs (fx), but Im gonna have to catch the march bus.

ZippyBoo · 11/02/2014 09:41

ZippyBoo · 11/02/2014 10:03

Hi Buba,

Welcome!
No idea how long things take, but I hope you are one of the lucky ones that get your BFP really quickly. I'm on cycle 2, TTC#1. I'm 10 days post ovulation and symptom spotting like mad.

Good Luck
Zippy

EnglishGirlAbroad · 11/02/2014 10:16

Hi buba, welcome! Unfortunately there's no way of knowing how long this journey is likely to be. I wish we knew! Let's hope you're not here with us too long!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 11/02/2014 11:22

MrsBs I had that same booing birthday experience in January. I think from now on we should all try to enjoy our bdays without ttc getting In the way! That's make it all our official day off Wink bloody af in more ways than one Angry!

Owlie84 · 11/02/2014 11:44

So sorry MrsBs :(
Welcome Buba!!

Is anyone testing this week? I need some good news to stave off my imaginary symptom spotting at only 3dpo!! :)

mama31 · 11/02/2014 12:24

Had my reflexology appointment last night and absolutely loved it!!! Hoping it works but will def give it another go next month as it was very enjoyable and I did feel different after it, as though things were moving around in my tummy! Sounds crazy but I felt it!

toots123 · 11/02/2014 12:30

Hi!
I'll be testing when my amazon cheapies arrive! If they come today I'll do a cheeky fmu one tomorrow (tomorrow is 10dpo)!

toots123 · 11/02/2014 12:40

And I think I'll cry if no bfp this month.
Not in front of dh though! Haha

sazzlehopes · 11/02/2014 12:49

yay mama - glad you enjoyed it anyway, it can do no harm to try it out for 3 months and see what happens! good luck with ov soon then and generally having fun dtd! fx for you xx

Treaclepie19 · 11/02/2014 12:53

14dpo today. No af yet. Maybe my cycles gone back to 28 days?

ZippyBoo · 11/02/2014 12:54

Can I join in, I'll be testing this week, I have one Amazon cheapy left so I'm trying to wait until AF is due on Sunday.

My boobs feel heavy and my sense of smell is working override and I have had a few waves of very briefly feeling a bit sick (although far too early for that I know). Also had some milky, non smelly, discharge which is unusual for me and I read somewhere it could be a sign. Of course this could just all be wishful thinking! I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I need to stop thinking about it or there will be some huge disappointment this end. Hmm

angelicjen · 11/02/2014 12:55

So glad you enjoyed the reflexology mama. Fx it does the job for you. How often are you plannign to have it?

Try not worry Jones, seems like it's a common thing and not a bad sign. Keep us updated.

Lots of luck to everyone testing.

CagedMango · 11/02/2014 13:06

Hi All, I might be a little late in getting on the Feb bus but I've been trying not to think about it too much. I'm now 6dpo with af due next Wednesday (19th). This is our 7th cycle ttc for baby number 1. I'm not feeling too hopeful this month as DH has been poorly and we only dtd twice during my fertile period, so not as much as I would have liked.

Mama-glad you enjoyed the reflexology. I've been going to the chiropractor this cycle for my hips but she said it can help with ttc too. If this doesn't work I think I'll try acupuncture. Has anyone else tried this?

mama31 · 11/02/2014 13:07

Thanks sazzle and angel. Not sure might just go once around ovulation time. It was very enjoyable!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 11/02/2014 13:10

To all those who've been trying reflexology...I had this before and during my first pg. it stabilised my thyroid so I think I'm going to give it a whirl. Haven't had any for 16 years. My right ankle is really tender. I've heard you mention ankles, is this something up do with the fertility bit?

mama31 · 11/02/2014 13:13

Yes Mrsextra the ankles are to do with fertility. It's definately worth a try I think! I would consider it during pregnancy also, it's so relaxing!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 11/02/2014 13:18

Thanks mama I remember how relaxing it is, i used to feel really floaty afterwards! And then fall asleep when I got home. So planning an afternoon apt so falling asleep is possible. Wink only thing holding me back is a large corn that's quite unsightly, but won't bugger off Blush

EnglishGirlAbroad · 11/02/2014 13:26

Glad you enjoyed the reflexology Mama! Did she mention anything while she was doing it? I'm def going to try if this cycle isn't successful.
MrsExtra, the ankle area relates to the ovaries and Fallopian tubes as far as I'm aware.
6dpo here and no symptoms except I'm really hot! Had this with my last BFP so fx!!

mama31 · 11/02/2014 13:58

English she said lots of things that were true, she was able to identify from the tension in parts of my foot that I have hayfever, some sinus issues, niggles in shoulders/part of back. She said I shouldn't need her for too long....but that's just getting my hopes up really!!!! and she talked about me having a November baby! Which would indicate me getting a bfp this cycle....we will see...I try not to read too much in to it to avoid disappointment!

It was interesting and she said a lot of things that made me feel intrigued to go back for sure! And she was very nice, chatty and explained every single thing she did....alot of knowledge for sure! I just felt good afterwards and could feel something happening not sure what exactly but just felt something! It's all a bit bizarre really! Hope it works though!!!
