Shell, glad you came over. The weather down under has to be better than here! Where are you? My PILs live in Brissy and put on sweats when it gets down to 24 degrees Grin.

Hi Fab and Brooker and Beetle. Glad you're all still around.

Wish - how's it going? Good to start the next drug Smile?

Fish - are you lurking? My PM thing is buggered but I know there's something from you!

Thanks res and thank you for the advice euro and bugs I will wait until after the ACU scan to give the GP a call.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 18/02/2014 17:29

Hi everyone,

Sorry for being gone for so long. I've not been back on mn since my cycle got cancelled due to my lining. I kept thinking of you all though and I finally cracked today!

Bad, Cwtch and Hat big congrats on the positive tests. Have I missed anyone else?

MaryP, Pip and One I'm so sorry about the BFNs. I now there's nothing I can say to make you feel better but I am thinking of you all.

Val and Stars how are you guys feeling? I have read back a little bit. I have been feeling so low and angry at times.

Brooker, Beetle and Res are you guys next to cycle then? I'm excited for you and keeping everything crossed for BFPs all around.

Nobeer hope you get the immune results soon. I bet you can't wait to get started now!

Hello Shellster and Moggle Smile

Well it's been nearly a month since my cycle was cancelled. I was told I needed an urgent hysteroscopy and scratch and if all was well I could start the AF after. After lots of chasing I was finally given a date of 28th may for the scope Angry my clinic are ridiculous, I honestly think they delay everything as much as possible so you will give up. Anyway after lots of tears and an official complaint to the clinic I have managed to get my GP to refer me for an urgent hysteroscopy at another hospital. I'm having a telephone appointment next week and they will then hopefully get me booked in by the end of March. I've also transferred my nhs funding to a private clinic. So I'll obviously have to wait for the scope and to be seen at the new clinic so I think the next IVF is still a good few months away. I feel so angry at my nhs clinic, I feel like I hate them, how awful is that? Every time I think of how they have treated us and messed us about I get so worked up. I'm really hoping the new clinic are better.

Sorry for such a long post Blush

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 18/02/2014 17:34

Oops I forgot Bugs congratulations!!!

Euro any news? Have you had anymore scans? Hope you are ok x

eurochick · 18/02/2014 18:26

How frustrating cups. You are doing the right thing in being proactive. I felt like the fight went out of me with all the ttc cr@p.

I had my 12 week scan and Harmony result yesterday and all looks good. :) Thanks for asking. I'm now forcing myself to menkul a bit less and face the fact that this might just be happening!

wishwash · 18/02/2014 18:38

MY OESTROGEN LEVELS HAVE GONE DOWN FROM 180 to 40!!! Eeeeeeek!!!

I'm officially back on the train! Chooooooooo!

So chuffed, thanks everyone for your support. My ET will be around the second week of march so brooker and res I'm with you aren't it?

euro congrats on the 12 weeks awesomeness. It looks like it could actually be happening for you. I'm so happy for you xxx

cups it's lovely to 'see' you. I'm so sorry you've had such a crappy time with your clinic! My clinic are being a but useless at the moment too but nowhere near what you've been through. I really hope it starts getting better at your new clinic xxx

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 18/02/2014 19:01

Euro that's fantastic! I'm so chuffed for you Grin

Wish amazing news, I'm really pleased you can still go ahead. Choooo Choooo!

Im glad you guys understand about my irrational hatred towards my fertility clinic. I've only really spoken to DH and my GP about it. My DH is great but I think he's getting a bit sick of the same rant every few days!

Turquoisetamborine · 18/02/2014 19:04

That's great wishwash, I'm due for EC around 13th march so we all should be around the same time.

Turquoisetamborine · 18/02/2014 19:05

Euro that's brilliant, you can relax now ??

wishwash · 18/02/2014 19:47

Cups, hugs. Totally get the anger! Hope your new clinic comes up trumps for you hun x

Bunnygirlie · 18/02/2014 22:26

Ace news euro whoop whoop! x

cwtch after my 6 week scan at the FC they discharged me back to my GP and I need to ring to register with mw now.

resipsa · 18/02/2014 22:32

Euro, IT IS happening. Your denial is now making me laugh (in a nice way)!. Great news.

Cups - I think you've gone to Care, yes? I can't remember your NHS clinic (you're in W'field, I think, so St M's?) but am sure you'll find Care good. I've no complaints save the expense if you're self-funding Wink.

Wish - v pleased for you. I'm adding you and Turquoise to my list!

BrookerC · 18/02/2014 22:54

wish that's great news. You must be so relieved!
Hi cups. Well done for getting your funding switched. Your NHS clinic sounded ridiculous. Try & focus on the your new clinic & let the hatred go. It's a waste of much needed energy Smile
res you been up to anything exciting for the last few days or just busy with RL?
euro I'm so happy for you. Smile

I've had my day 11 scan & bloods today & not ready yet. Due back in on Thursday for the same. My clinic is sooo busy at the moment with loads of people cycling after Christmas. I'm going to have to get there even earlier on Thursday to avoid the long boring wait.

Cups. I spent the whole of last year with an IVF clinic because it was cheaper. After 3 failed IVFs, I decided to have 1 or 2 goes at a more expensive clinic and I can really tell the difference. I have such a weight lifted off my shoulders as I have faith in the new doc where as I always felt I had to do all the research and be the one to tell the old clinic what to do. So you are not over-reacting at all.

Euro, we've spoken before on other threads. Last I heard you were doing EC in Dec - I guess that worked then. Whoop whoop!

beetle have I missed something? Isn't the pen empty today (4 x 225)? Don't you start a new pen today? x

resipsa · 19/02/2014 07:18

Beetle - oops! Can you just give yourself a dose from the new pen too? Can't think that you'd do any harm if you had a little left over in the last one too.

wish great that you can carry on!
euro I don't know if we can ever think of ourselves as ''normal' pregnant women after going through so much to get the baby in there in the first place, but give it your best shot! Great news about the scan :-)

Hello cup and all other previous egg buddies who I haven't seen yet. Hi shell!

So, my menopur dose was reduced on Monday, and I had another scan this morning. I have a rogue follicle in the lead at 18mm, then about 8 or 10 at 11-14mm and a few at 8 or 9mm. So hopefully will be a decent bunch at the right size on Monday for EC. Annoyingly I only remembered about picking up my drugs when I was halfway to work so had to turn around and go back to the pharmacy, doh. Feeling pretty tired now but who knows if it's the drugs or the fact I am having to get up at 6.30 every other day this week!
