If you’re over 30, ttc over 12 months and wearing nipple tassels under your snowsuit then this just might be the thread for you - if you can prove yourself bitter and evil enough. We’ll be the judge of that. Don your snowsuit , cowbell ready - fill in the BESHtionnaire and prepare to meet our icy glare. This is a marathon, not a sprint.

cherrycoconut · 09/02/2014 08:21

Twirls in silently :) :) looking goooood bugs

I have dreamt of baybees all night after two FB friends popped sprogs yesterday and ceremoniously plastered their virtual walls with newborn pics without so much a flicker of a warning. Urgh. And also awoken to the spontaneous arrival of a head full of mucus. Not impressed.

Baybees do seem to be thing that happen to other people. I can definitely identify with that. You are giving us all hope bugs and other diffed BESH. I like that you are still around. As you were.

I have been awake for hours, but still in bed with a snoring cat on my legs. I would like a cup of tea though, so me may get unceremoniously shifted in a sec. After that it's a visit to the tip. The weather is also shite across the Pennines.

Snap Sink! What exciting Sundays we lead; we're also off to the tip this morning. But first I'm also chilling in bed. I love a lazy morning lie in, dipping in to books and surfing tinterweb. It feels highly indulgent especially as ROCH is up, pottering about in the garden and has brought me a cuppa.

bugs I'm imagining an action film style handbrake turn Wink

FizzyFeet · 09/02/2014 09:31

Yay bugs!

cherry sorry about the FB shittiness. It can be the worst thing in the world when you're unprepared for it

Today I will be focussing my energy on my womble "with my fingers together to form a heart shape" a la Zita West. It's wild and windy out there but I will aim to get out for some sort of exercise later.

CatsCantFlyFast · 09/02/2014 09:37

Missed all the excitement. Joining in the silent dance. No nipple tassels under my clothes, I promise WinkGrin

JethroTull · 09/02/2014 09:45

Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

KatAndKit · 09/02/2014 10:06

bugs am so pleased for you. No nekkid dancing here from me but silently cheering you on. Remember you have to be in it to win it and this time you are on the fragmin stabbing and that might be the thing that makes the difference. Will be checking in to hold your hand in the next few weeks till you can get some scannage.

KatAndKit · 09/02/2014 10:11

I would stay away from the evil blue sticks. I have had all manner of scares with them and as you can see, i had no cause for concern this time. Id wait until about 23 days post egg fertilisation and then piss on one to get a 3+. My internet research suggests the 2-3 stage is only 60% accurate compared to the 3+ that gets a 92% score

SinkyMalinks · 09/02/2014 10:15

Bugs, well remembered! Me and the tip staff are now firm friends. I can direct punters in the correct direction to leave old tvs, burnable waste and advise on which paints can be recycled and which need specialist disposal.

Sigh.

Turns out me and ghj (well, ghj) have a hoarding habit. Not bad enough to appear on those tv series, but a lot of stuff that "we might need again, maybe". Add a lot of cardboard packaging and you have weekly tip visits! I think (...) this'll be the last one for a while though..

FrankelInFoal · 09/02/2014 10:31

We have a room above our garage that is stuffed, and I mean stuffed, with boxes and miscellaneous crap Blush

SinkyMalinks · 09/02/2014 10:36

Yup frank. That sounds like our back room. Except we have no garage/shed and a small house so had to do some clearance. We do have an outside loo though. Which is nice.

Ooh bugs you are diffed, no doubt about it. My nipple tassles are on back order with amazon so should arrive just in time for your clinic appointment.

cherry fb is the worst at times. It's a shame you can't auto block any posts containing certain words. You have to actually see the damn post in order to hide it.

I too live with a hoarder sink though he won't admit it. He genuinely believes that everything he keeps will at some point save the day. We have boxes and boxes of the stuff, but I have managed to get him to part with a few things. I dread him saying 'I've got one of those somewhere' then the next several hours of rummaging that ensues, and the mess he leaves that I have to pack back up when he comes out all triumphant with a tiny bit of electrical lead that we could have bought for 50p at Homebase. Grrrr.

The bleeding started overnight. Not particularly heavy or painful at the moment, and I seem to remember I got off quite lightly after my last IVF so hopefully this one will do the same. Going to snuggle with cushions, dvds and knitting until MrG gets home.

MrG needs a BESH-stylee nickname. HWIETO (He Who Is Ever The Optimist) is probably the most appropriate that I can think of right now. It may change, depending on what kind of mood I am in with him Wink

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 09/02/2014 10:54

Massive Grin here. No congrats, no tassles but slow and silent girating in joy, bugs! Let me know when the enormoboobs are allowed out :) Which reminds me, maybe we can do our tassle for euro, now? It's nearly 12 weeks, isn't it?

After dropping off the small people in the high and freezing winds, I am now attached to the couch til further notice. Got out of coachend as the winds are too high, phew!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 09/02/2014 10:57

Sorry about the baybee onslaught on fb, cherry! How are you holding up?

Go Kate'n Bob :) When is otd, hest?

Sorry about the droid arriving, Geek! Hope the snuggling goes well!

HesterShaw · 09/02/2014 12:06

WrenNatsworthy · 09/02/2014 13:23

:)

LauraPalmer · 09/02/2014 13:24

Yes, Euro - how far along are you now?

eurochick · 09/02/2014 13:39

I'm 11+3. 12 week scan is on Monday week, at 12+4. So not too long to wait, but I feel like I have aged about 5 years in the last 9 weeks! It has been a slow and stressful first tri.

I loved the bday pics on t'other place, LP.

Nokkie73 · 09/02/2014 13:47

Runs in to shout QUAAAAAADS in bugs ear, licks her face and rushes off to find those nipple clamps which double-up as tassels
