Missvaughan85 · 11/12/2013 21:27

Congrats bronya, what weeks did you get?? Very exciting!!! X x

KitKat1985 · 11/12/2013 22:02

Just wanted to say thanks to theduchese for your reply and sharing your experience. The 'logical' side of my brain knows that'll it will probably just take a while for my cycle to get back to normal, but the 'irrational TTC' half of my brain keeps thinking every twinge may be pregnancy symptoms. Mad I know! Interesting to know you got a bfp on CD60. I guess the best thing to do is just to keep DTD regularly as could potentially could ovulate anytime, and test regularly until hormones settle down into some sort of a regular cycle unless I'm lucky enough to get a BFP first! I feel such a novice at this as only cycle 1 of TTC #1, so no idea what I'm doing. DH is so excited too, especially since he became an uncle in June, and I think now that he's 32 he knows lots of people his age with kids and is getting quite broody! Wishing you the best of luck with your test tomorrow - another festive BFP would be fantastic. Grin

ReginaFelange22 · 11/12/2013 22:52

Congrats to the new BFPs and sorry to hear about the BFN's too.

I've been peeing for Scotland tonight! 4 times within 5 hours! Not like me at all. Don't reckon I've ovulated yet on this cycle though.

Should've said, waiting for BFP on 28th dec to add to the stats!!

BexBoo12 · 11/12/2013 22:55

I really cannot keep up with this thread and all the good news!!! So I find myself repeating the same thing all the time!! Congratulations to those who have their bfp xxx

Spinning I hope the gp is wrong about your sister. Fx xxx

Mama, don't think we spoken much as I joined the thread I think as you were just about to take a break, but I was a lurker before and I've seen your chats with others, and you so deserve your bfp, got everything crossed for you this next cycle xx

Today ladies, I got a positive opk I think - test line is darker than control line - that's positive right? So I'm just entering a shaggathon this week - much to my dp's dismay as he's working so hard this week in the run up to Christmas that he literally comes home, shower and bed ready to start again the next day. Dtd is the last thing on his mind bless him. But TOUGH TITTY. He's gonna have to suck it up and get on with it. These lovely eggs only arrive once a month so I'm taking advantage!! Im guessing by Friday I will be in the 2ww...eek! X

mama31 · 11/12/2013 23:17

Thanks bex...and I like your style ;) DH will just have to get to work! "Tough titty" indeed! Haha!

BexBoo12 · 11/12/2013 23:33

Haa mama, he's got a job to do so he has no time to be shy Wink get in get out job done Grin x

Nordicmom · 12/12/2013 06:51

Well what a lovely morning surprise the AF had arrived ... So am off this bus and to the next . I was just looking at the dates and we'll be visiting my parents over Christmas but staying in a hotel. And luckily in two connecting rooms since got the kids with us . Maybe the next one will be made in Finland where I'm from ...

DuPanettoneDuVinDuFromage · 12/12/2013 06:51

Good morning ladies! Still no AF (a week late now) and I'm feeling very calm and positive Xmas Smile going to test tomorrow evening when dh gets back from his work trip. Amazed I've managed to wait this long! I'll let you all know what happens.

I was thinking about how people tested in the old days (I remembered reading something about rabbits) and found this interesting article - it's American but I guess most of it is the same as what happened here. Makes me feel lucky to be living now rather than earlier - we're all piss prophets now! Xmas Grin (just a little warning - the bit about the early 1900's talks about animal testing so you might want to skip that)

DuPanettoneDuVinDuFromage · 12/12/2013 06:52

Oh nordicmom, cross post - sorry to hear that, hope you get your bfp soon. Have some Christmas drinks in the meantime!

spinningirl10 · 12/12/2013 07:18

Morning....lets get some more bfp's rolling in.....no pressure ladies!Grin

Nordic, sorry to hear af arrived, but lots of luck next cycle.

spinningirl10 · 12/12/2013 07:19

Panettone I don't know how you've managed to resist testing!!!! Looking really good for youGrin

Nordicmom · 12/12/2013 07:29

That's ok . It's only the first month but with our history I have a sense of urgency and am trying to decided how many months we'll do this for before going to our trusty ivf clinic. Definitely not a year , maybe 6 m . I feel like I haven't got the time , have already spent two years having misscarriages before DD . I haven't been seen by them for a few years since we did our two cycles to have DD and even then at the grand old age of 36 my hormone levels and egg count were low for my age . Both cycles resulted in only a few eggs and embryos so none left over for now and DD was a miracle really . My main problem here is the fact that I used to be super fertile and conceiving easily but lost them all of except DS and then another lady ended up carrying DD . So am worrying about not getting pregnant in the first place let alone loosing it anyway. My heads a mess . Maybe it's just too late for us which now seems so depressing to think . I know I'm racing ahead here but it's hard not too ...

Nordicmom · 12/12/2013 07:31

Good luck to the rest of you!

babyspice2501 · 12/12/2013 07:33

Congrats bronya!! Always nice on a cb eh!

Oh no nordic! :( I wish you luck for your next cycle!

Panettone good luck for when you test, I agree with spinning, cant believe you waited! Your much better than me!

I just want to say morning girls!! I got my 2 pack fre preggers test last night being delivered in an asda shop today as iam now officially in the 2 week wait! Can someone be kind and change my stats? I was due 20th but now I think im 25th... omg christmas day!!!!

I probably shouldnt have them in my house so early but hey ho!

DuPanettoneDuVinDuFromage · 12/12/2013 07:37

I know, I'm starting to get really impatient now! But POASing with dh on Skype wouldn't be quite the same Xmas Grin. I have just taken the pregnancy test out of the bedside table drawer, looked at it...and put it back! I think it helps that I can vicariously share in all the bfps on here Xmas Smile

SoMuchFruit · 12/12/2013 07:39

Finally catching up this morning.

Mama so sorry you got AF. Thanks Sad you'll get your BFP. Go forth and go mad with the Festive drinks in the meantime.

And Choccy!! I didn't realise! Brilliant!!! Xmas Grin

Sorry to Nordic and all the others that the witch got - stupid AF Angry

LH any news ?

I PIAC this morning. Again, a super faint line. But pink. I am cautious though, worrying about how faint it is. When I tested and got my BFP it was also very faint but this is even paler. What does this mean ?

I used Tesco HPT's which on googling seem to be 20miu ?

mssleepyhead · 12/12/2013 07:48

Panettone - you deserve a medal!

Fruit - that sounds promising too!

I POAS again this morning. OV+9 so way too early but I'd rather know I'm not pregnant from getting a positive than from AF, So I'm going to test every couple of days. Temperature hasn't dipped yet so there's still a sliver of hope because AF is due tomorrow, according to my app...

spinningirl10 · 12/12/2013 07:59

Somuch....sounds good, I think you buy a CBdigi for laterGrin

Sleepy....good luck to you! I'll be 10dpo on Monday I think and e en though I don't think it's our month I'll still be madly poas Grin

SoMuchFruit · 12/12/2013 08:03

Thanks MsSleepy and Spinning I have crossed all sorts of fingers and toes but scared to get too enthusiastic.

Will a Digi show up if the Tesco one is so faint ?

spinningirl10 · 12/12/2013 08:04

So much.....I had faint lines on frer and did a CBdigi and got 'pregnant' 1-2 weeks, have many dp ov are you?

SoMuchFruit · 12/12/2013 08:13

I'm 16dpo I think ? AF was due on the 10th.

spinningirl10 · 12/12/2013 08:26

I would think it should show up on a digi test then! Grin
