KitKat it took 7 weeks for AF to come back post-pill for me.

Thanks for the reply LH1981. I guess I'll just sit tight for a while and wait for AF to turn up. On a positive note, all the BFNs I've had mean I can get merrily sozzled over Christmas which will be nice as it'll be the first Christmas for 3 years that I haven't been working (I'm a nurse), but this year I've got the entire week around Christmas off as annual leave! Obviously I'd rather have had a BFP but as a consolation prize it ain't bad, and at least will provide a good distraction from TTC! Will hang around this thread though to see how everyone is doing!

kitkat My first proper af turned up 31 days after last pill. So frustrating waiting isn't it. I just endured a 79 day wait for af post mc Hope you don't have to wait long or it turns out to be a BFP (late ov?)

Honestly ladies last month I got a bit of a telling of from DH for being so down about a BFN on our first month of trying and I realised he was right. We aimed for every other day but honestly missed a few. I was not even sure when I ov'd as had so little EWCM this month, I had been keeping an eye (!) on my cervix though and it was quite high for most of the month.
Last week I was so damn sure I was out and actually though AF was coming early.
I think talking to my DH made me relax a bit and that's probably why it's happened.
The only symptoms I have had so far are cramps last week, slightly sore boobs (all normal AF symptoms) but goodness I have been emotional. Until I saw that stick today I was expecting to come on. Ooooo quick shout for the Superdrug own brand test it did not mess about the line came up so fast!

Oh HollyBen. 79 days must have been horrendous, and after all the upset of having a mc as well. I hope mother nature makes it up to you this month with a festive BFP! x

Sazzle - thanks for adding me to the bus. I bought some more tests including a CB digi so hoping that that little line keeps appearing over the next few days… also fyi we didn’t DtD loads this month, just when the mood took us and probably around 3 times during the fertile window

Do lots of you check your cevix? is the general idea that if it stays high then you are pregnant? This is deffo one of those questions I would only ask on here, lol And I have no idea whether mine is high or low, just being nosey really!!

Spinning - I started cervix prodding in the bath but to be honest I couldnt really tell lol...it always felt like my moved up when I prodded sorry tmi!!!! choccy knows a lot about this

I too would like the cervix checking skills...but I guess you have to check lots to understand when it feels different?

Lucy I'm on cd23 so will prob spot for 3 or 4 days which will be 26/27 day cycle like last month. On to cycle 7, not sure I'll join Jan bus it's all getting a bit much to be honest. Really happy for the rest of you ladies though and hope my bfp is not in the too distant future x

Mama, if you don't join the next bus I will be (selfishly) sad but completely understand. Just know that you do get weirdly attached to chatting to certain 'nicknames' on here! Good luck in the future with ttc. Really hope your bfp comes soon....and POAS fridays won't be the same without you!!!

choccy - I'm about 95% sure that pregnant women shouldn't have Lemsip. I don't know the ins and outs of the reason why but that's what I was told anyway. I'm currently suffering with a cold and would love one, I just sit and watch my husband drink them without trying to get too jealous.

Thanks ladies! Maybe I will feel differently after Christmas but Definately going to take a break from the buses for this cycle.

Just a quick moan and a question for you girls using or have done opks...

Mines broke I think. I last used it yesterday morning and got a solid smiley... used it again just now but when I inserted the new pee stick it didnt show the usual sign of the 'stick' telling me its ready to pee on, it stayed as the solid smiley I got yesterday! Thought id pee on it anyway to see if that gets it going but nope! Same solid smiley face! Has anyone else had this problem? I even ejected the stick and inserted again but the solid smile remains. Its broke in my eyes! Or does anyone else think im doing something wrong? Shall I phone clear blue and demand for another for free?

It is the decongestant in Lemsip that is the issue if upduffed. Don't know why though. I agree it is rank though DH loves it (weirdo!) Will be trying the cordial approach
