BFPs popping out from Christmas crackers and stockings - The December bus is lining up to find bfps under that tree!

Before I go into DTD, symptoms etc, can u look at my IC and tell me if you see the line! I went into work all excited but showed my friend the pic and she said she couldn't see the line! Photo should be on my profile!

Didyeaye - i think i can see, although super faint. Have you a more meaty test hidden away that you can use to confirm it either now or first thing tomorrow?

I'm only on cd11 but I've just ordered 30 Internet cheapie pregnancy tests. Wondering how long I'll be able to resist POAS. Due BFP on Dec 27th but would love a positive result on Xmas day.

Congrats to all the BFPS - it must be so exciting :) I am excited as I actually ovulated for the first time since coming off the pill in May so this was my first real chance of conceiving

Larvah- I was using the clearblue opks and I got 7 days of flashing smiley and no peak but I ovulated (seen via ultrasound) and my fertility gynae (dr white- an absolute expert) said unless you have a perfect cycle and very standard hormones they wont work and for so many people they actually cause more stress than they are worth...

Am a bit confused . Am I supposed to expect af or BFP 14 post ov ? In that case I guess it'd be this fri or sat for me me since the kit was positive on thu ... Maybe I havevtestedcfar too early ... Have no patience

sazzle I have both a superdrug and a FRER...will save them for the morning....which one should I use?! If they're BFP I'll break and buy a big gun digi!

I'm 11dpo so prob daft for getting excited so early anyway!

Can I ask, if you get a positive opk result, will that mean a definite ovulation? Or can the opks pick up the hormone which may not develop into ov? I've always assumed that positive opks mean a definite ov...but now I've confused myself...Confused

didy - i'm not sure - i think they are both super sensitive? check that they say 10miu on the side...or whichever is the lowest amount! i've never used a superdrug but i've always heard good things about them on theses buses!

Look at all those shiny, sparkly festive BFPs! Congratulations everyone- very happy for you all!!
Still feeling all bloated today, have somehow managed to put on half a stone since coming off the pill- no changes to diet/ lifestyle Sad Bloody hormones grr!
BFP not due until Friday, got a busy week ahead so should be able to hold out until then.
Who's next to get their early Christmas present??

Congrats mamma bear, this is a busy bus, what date did you get as due date?? I got the 15th August, which secretly am super happy with, if I finish 1/2 weeks before due date then I can have the summer holidays off with my daughter and hopefully new baby. X x

Lara I don't know if this is relevant to you but the first month I tried temping I just used a standard (but expensive) thermometer and it was rubbish. I couldn't see any temperature pattern at all. Then I got the cheap Baby Mad one on Amazon and suddenly everything is completely clear! This month, to get an idea of my cycle, I'm temping every morning at 6.30am (even weekends!) and it's proving interesting reading!
Just thought I'd share my experiences in case it helps!

Mssleepy and Lara - this I do remember. I know it's daft but the thermometer is important. I had two. And my first gave weird readings and the lovely ladies on my thread at the time told me to check it and/ get a new one. I did and like mssleepy got better results.

I do travel a lot for work so I know temping isn't good option for me these days.

Hello ladies, anyone miss me?
Well after my heartbreaking chemical pregnancy last month, I ov'd bang on 15 days after the bleeding started. Am due to test tomorrow (12dpo) as that's when I got a positive last month. If I get a positive and it sticks, it will be EXACTLY 3 years that I got a positive with ds.
I've not read back, so congrats on all the bfps so far.
Wish me luck........

Must say, it's been lovely to have some time off here and just get my head around things. And tbh this month has gone really quickly!!
We've just moved into a mahoosive 130 year old house 2 weeks ago that needs another baby like yesterday!

Yah! I'm pregnant!!! Have done a 3 cheapies, 1 tesco, a clearblue and a superdrug and all faint bfps! Done a superdrug digital and there in clear words PREGNANT!!! Ekk hope it sticks!! Cd 26 :)
