Thanks onelife.
The gutting thing is I really thought I was.
I'm going to try my hardest not to poas until af is bloody late lol

onelifeonechance · 02/11/2013 07:28

I know, its gutting isn't it, I was totally convinced last month only to have a horrible slap in the face when AF arrived. When's your AF due? Suppose its back to waiting.....again.....whilst you're doing that can I interest you in a bacon sarnie? Smile

keepswimming1 · 02/11/2013 07:43

oh yes please :) I guess I could have a running yolk now

My dh is away ow until xmas so back on it in Jan, seems like ages away.

My period is due in 8days. I just dont get why Ive been feelig like I have. Onwards and upwards. x

sazzlehopes · 02/11/2013 07:52

Oh swimming I'm so sorry. Those words are so harsh.i did it to myself last month too... However I'm not trying to raise hopes or be ridiculous but if you aren't due AF for another 8 days then you could have tested too early. Hang in there, you never know!!

keepswimming1 · 02/11/2013 08:01

You girls are terrible :)

sazzlehopes · 02/11/2013 08:20

Terrible, and ever hopeful! X

Writerwannabe83 · 02/11/2013 09:38

You have tested really, really early keepswimming - I wouldn't even take any notice of the BFN. I didn't get my BFP until the day my period was due despite having used the 'accurate results 4 days your period is due' tests.

Don't let such an early BFN ruin your weekend or mood - God, I went through about 15 BFN's over the course of a week until I got my BFP Grin

Just leave it a week and test again but please don't take this BFN to mean you aren't pregnant x x

keepswimming1 · 02/11/2013 09:50

I really dont know how you stay positive though.
Wannabe83- how/when did you realise you was prgnt?

mama31 · 02/11/2013 11:18

KS hugs to you! But yes it is still early days!!!! (snuggles under blanket with keepswimming as feeling very sleepy after an early morning dtd.....going back for a doze zzzzz.....)

mama31 · 02/11/2013 11:30

Hey I'm back just to celebrate my pos opk.....sings "celebrate good times....come on!!! do do do do!!!!" :)

Writerwannabe83 · 02/11/2013 14:28

keepswimming - I didn't know I was pregnant until I got my BFP. I don't think anyone can 'know'. We see so many women on here posting with every symptom under the sun yet still getting BFN, and then there are the other women who don't have any symptoms and get their BFP. The only thing that made me slightly suspicious was the fact that I'd been needing to wee more frequently from about 10-11dpo. But even with that happening, it was only because my colleagues mentioned it that I was even aware of it.

I can honestly say that noting in me felt different to the point where I could say I 'felt pregnant'. I know some women say that and I accept that it may happen in some circumstances, but to me, I just felt exactly the same.

Writerwannabe83 · 02/11/2013 14:29

I meant to say I was about 14-15dpo when I eventually got my BFP.

Writerwannabe83 · 02/11/2013 14:30

Have you got another sex plan on the go mama? Grin

keepswimming1 · 02/11/2013 15:09

Thanks wannabe
I just feel sick and have itchy boobs, I guess we pin all our hopes on to any change/feelings thats slightly different and hope :)
Congratulations:) how far gone are you?

keepswimming1 · 02/11/2013 15:10

mama excellent news. I hope this is your month xx

Writerwannabe83 · 02/11/2013 15:24

I'm now 19 weeks and it still feels very surreal Smile

keepswimming1 · 02/11/2013 15:32

aw how exciting for you :)

DinkyMole · 02/11/2013 15:49

Woohoo mama!

We went out and bought a new mattress today - cost me more than my first car! The old one was really worn out though Grin

Keepswimming - I am terrible. The most impatient person I know. Last cycle I was convinced. With my two DS I hadn't had to try so I thought I was just one of those people who Got Pregnant. I had every sign under the sun. I had one feint BFP and then AF came 4 days early. I was devastated. I spent all evening and most of the following day in tears or moping around.

If your EWCM was 7-9 days ago, you might only be 6-8dpo which is far too soon to get a BFP on anything and definitely not on a digi which has a higher threshold for a result.

I want to know whether I am this cycle or not - again I've convinced myself I am on the basis of no symptoms as opposed to loads with my BFN last month. But wishing it harder won't bring it closer. I try to fill my days with as many activities as possible so I have something to look forward to each day. Chin up, it's horrible but will be worth it in the end Smile

DinkyMole · 02/11/2013 15:50

Jumps on the coffee table singing "I bet you look good on the dance floor...."

keepswimming1 · 02/11/2013 16:59

Thanks Dinky
It is hard, I'm trying to forget about it this month and if by some miracle af doesn't arrive then happy days.
I have a busy weekend ahead of me now, so no more feeling sorry for myself.
My next possible chance of getting prgnt is Jan so I guess I was pinning my hopes to much on this cycle :( oops

I did think about buying some poundland sticks what do people think of those?? ( for my next chance of course)

walks over to the chocolate fountain to top up the chocolate,' You ladies certain can get through chocolate :)'

DinkyMole · 02/11/2013 17:17

I'd either go for superdrug or one step ones from amazon.

Choccywoccydodah · 02/11/2013 17:44

HERE YOU ALL ARE!!!!
Blimey, I've missed a lot in this secret squirrel society it seems!!

mama31 · 02/11/2013 23:01

Choccy you were invited here aaaaages ago!!! But did not take the invite!!!! :/ glad to see you here now and this is where you come to party when you get your bfp :)

Well.....someone gave me (very kindly) a clearblue digital ovulation test pack today as a gift (what has my life become when I'm receiving such gifts :/) and despite the pos opk on onestep cheapie test, I tested Neg on clearblue....so I'm somewhat confused (AGAIN.....yes....again) but will do both tests tomorrow and we had always planned to dtd sat and sun as DH is off work so it's all good really.....but I sure wish I saw a smiley opk on clearblue this wkend!!!!

Jumps on table with dinky to replay "I bet that you look good on the dancefloor" can't believe I missed that tune earlier!!! Good shout Dinky!! :)

As always can't leave the thread without a call to onelife....hope you are having a lovely wkend of DTD!!!! I have a good feeling about November you know ;) xx

DinkyMole · 03/11/2013 07:02

Mama, you always get a negative on the first day. The digital stick records surges so it will think your test today is your normal level of LH. I didn't realise that til jaykay told me last month.

mama31 · 03/11/2013 12:52

Hmmm....defo think the cheap opks are easier to use then as I've already had my pos opk y'day and it's faded today! So will leave the digi's til next month now! Thanks for explaining that though, glad I know :)
