Onelife also re the "sex plan" we are gona do smep again but think I need to get straight back in to action soon as af finishes given how early I usually ovulate! Need to get some spermies in to the bank before the egg is released! We had only dtd once before pos opk last cycle as I wasn't expecting to get the pos opk on the morn of cd10! So will be covering all bases this time!!

Batmam · 23/10/2013 20:18

Hi ladies, please can I come along on Friday to cheerlead from the sidelines? I can man the punch bowl ??

HisLommel · 23/10/2013 20:22

Ooo I'm at Uni all day Friday but I'll pop in and out with my pom-poms! I'll only be CD8 but maybe I'll get a BFPOPK? WinkGrin

onelifeonechance · 23/10/2013 21:51

onelifeonechance · 24/10/2013 07:25

Jumps out of bed, throws open the curtains, chucks out all of the empty wine bottles wincing slightly at the sound of them all clunking in to the bin what will the neighbours say puts on a tabbard for the fun of it, starts hoovering&telling people to lift their feet up, passes Mama a feather duster, we've got a party to prep for! Wink

onelifeonechance · 24/10/2013 07:28

Realises Mama's got her GP appt today, gives her a hug&wishes her luck, takes back the feather duster & starts multitasking

Writerwannabe83 · 24/10/2013 07:35

Morning onelife - I'm feeling much better today! Partly because I just woke up to find out my cousin and his partner had their baby late last night, a gorgeous little boy. Well, I say little, he was 9lb! Smile I just saw a gorgeous photo of him on FB and he is just beautiful! I'm up really early though as I have got to be at my hospital for 08.30 to get some blood tests but when I get back I plan to snuggle up under the comfy blanket - unless you need any help with the housework? I always imagined mama to be the kind of woman with a spotless house and a full time cleaner Grin

In terms of my birthday cake...you can beat good old chocolate!!!

I'm also really happy today as last night was the first night I have felt baby movements and known for definite it was baby and not just a 'could it have been?' twinge! Smile I'm tired though because I was purposefully staying awake just to feel it Smile

Writerwannabe83 · 24/10/2013 07:48

Just saw you have your GP appointment today mama. Good luck x

onelifeonechance · 24/10/2013 08:24

Choccy cake it is writer, excellent choice!! Glad you're feeling better&congrats on your second cousin, lovely news, he sounds a bruiser! Smile And even more lovely news that you've felt your baby, eek! How exciting! I like to think he knew you were feeling bit down yst so he gave you a boot to cheer you up!! Smile Hope your hosp appt goes ok. The sofa is waiting your return, cleaning will all be done, i'm a whizz with a vacuum, lol.

Sticks a bit of Gloria Gaynor on&starts belting it out (all lyrics aimed at AF)

"Go on now go, walk out the door,
Don't turn around now, you're not welcome anymore.....!!!"

flymo79 · 24/10/2013 08:29

good luck at the doc's mama and thanks for having us all back at yours for a party! I really need it, even though I will be on the sidelines as the witch got me today. really bummed out as I am two days late and had NO af symptoms. Still, as DP says, I can drink lots of wine on the weekend and stuff my face with choccy. Good luck to everyone who's gonna poas tomorrow! fx for lots of bfps.

I will bring some pork pies as I'm going for maximum calorie intake over the weekend!!! xxx

ImaginaryHat · 24/10/2013 08:40

I'm out before its even begun, spotting and cramping this morning. Ffs.

Good luck tomorrow ladies.

flymo79 · 24/10/2013 08:49

I hear ya, imaginary, we've got to stay positive though... after the initial disappointment of af, it's another chance to get back on it.
xxx

mama31 · 24/10/2013 08:52

Jumps out of the shower (oh I needed that after that long period of hibernation under the blanket!!) puts fake tan on and throws on comfy clothes. Thanks for all the help onelife, my GP is just calling me today at lunch time so I'm good to make writers cake :) chocolate! No probs!!! :) and oh....hope the neighbours didn't hear those bottles clinking in to the bin :/ they are already talking about the noise from last week's party!!!!

Writer yes I do have a full time cleaner and a spotless house........hes called DH ;) he is a fabulous cleaner, I do all the cooking and washing, he cleans and tidies :)

Sorry flymo and imaginary!!! Def enjoy some wine and treats at the party (and all wkend), you two will probably be on track now with onelife and I for another party mid November!!! ;) even though I'm not testing early this time!!!!!! Really.....im not!!!! I have not purchased a single IC and do not plan to!

Well I've to nip out for some banners, balloons and tons of wine! So catch you all later! :)

flymo79 · 24/10/2013 08:54

same mama, no early testing for me in NOV. xxxx

ImaginaryHat · 24/10/2013 09:06

Thanks ladies, good luck with your gp chat mama x

mama31 · 24/10/2013 10:09

Thanks ladies!

mama31 · 24/10/2013 13:11

So I'm feeling much better having spoken with my GP! She is actually so lovely and amazing!!! :) made me feel so much better about things and offered lots of support and reassurance. She said most likely my body getting back to normal after so long on the pill and that pre af spotting isn't an issue, it's quite normal for your body to gear up to af and will probably reduce over time. She's asked me to come in on cd21 for bloods to check everything is as it should be and to check thyroid.

Definately feeling happier and ready for the poas party tomorrow!!!! :) (cracks open the champers and shares with onelife......sure it's never too early ;))

sazzlehopes · 24/10/2013 13:30

Wow sounds like everything is getting geared up for the party - thanks so much ladies, it is a great job you are doing. I'm not feeling too confident - I think I'll only be 10po so it's probably too early to test, although normally my lp i think is around 13 days - so I guess a fancy frer test will show it up if indeed i am preggo or not? What do you think girls? I have ic too - or should I cut to the chase and crack open a frer from the new 2 pack i have?

Imaginary - so sorry AF got you. fx for you in november x

mama31 · 24/10/2013 13:54

I think crack open a frer Sazzle! Much more reliable! And less confusion about the result. Those IC's have wild evap lines and only makes you wonder and guess if it's a real line or not!! And it's a party after all so def go for the swanky test :)

sazzlehopes · 24/10/2013 14:20

You're right i'm going to think of the FRER as my friday party frock! And after 11 months i'm over the guesswork and frustration of ICs!! Thanks mama, see you tomorrow. x

sazzlehopes · 24/10/2013 14:22

Also, mentioned on the Nov thread, but i'm glad your GP is nice, so great to have that support and know you 'are not just being silly'. I had those bloods checked out and it is good to know one way or another if something else is going on. In my case nothing, which is good - just need to relax and sure it'll all happen soon. Easier said than done though! Grin

keepswimming1 · 24/10/2013 14:27

Hey guys, what do you think I should do?

Would like your thoughts ladies - So I had my last period ending 12/10 (very different from previous cycles - 1 heavy day 4 very light) POAS(from poundland) Saturday as convinced I'm pregnant bfn. I have no desire to eat (not normal) feeling sick(possibly from not eating lol) oh and horrible taste in my mouth, I have had cramps in my lower abdominal since af - what is going on?? I'm due to ovulate soon (i think) and normally suffer horrendous pain for about 12hrs on the side I assume is releasing the egg. (haven't had yet) What do you girlies think? Have I just gone mad!!!

POAS tomorrow or not???

sazzlehopes · 24/10/2013 14:41

keepswimming - i'm sorry i have no idea! it's so hard when things change from what your normal cycle is. i guess you could poas tomorrow for the hell of it?
Or do you have any cheap opk that you could pee on too in case you do also ov soon? then you won't feel annoyed if you're not pregnant, at least you won't miss the moment to dtd again? Sorry not to be more help!!
