Not really believing it though, been ttc for a year while saving up for more ivf so to fall naturally was always a long shot. Lost DDs twin at 8wks. But for now IT'S A BFP! (Right?) ...where's that peppermint tea?

Mama - Enjoy yourself tonight and have a drink. I drank the night before I got my BFP, I needed that wine to get me through until the morning! :-)

When I saw the doctor this week, she asked me about alcohol - said I'd not touched a drop since I found out and she told me that I didn't need to stop completely - the occasional glass of something I fancy isn't going to hurt. Saving myself for next weekend when I tell my parents, brothers, sister in laws and nephew.

Right I'm conga-ing out the door for a short while, won't be long just need to get more sausage rolls and I forgot my Pom poms!

For anyone trying to upload, I failed to do it from my phone. In theory you go to My Mumsnet, then profile where you can upload pics to a gallery, then make your profile public and we will be able to see. BUT in practice I was unable to do that from mobile and had to use a laptop.

And will fess up just before I run out the door, my POAS addiction is still going strong did another today and pleased to report all good so far :)

Onelife - nearly 7 weeks. I've spoken to my Dad and my middle brother on the phone since finding out and it was so hard not to say anything. But it's my SILs birthday party next week, so perfect time to tell them all.

My nephew just turned 17 this week, so my parents have waited a long time for Grandchild no. 2. Sadly, my other brother and wife tried for a long time, tried IVF but it wasn't meant to be for them. I'm predicting tears already.

Thanks everyone. Feel a bit of a fraud rocking up to my first party uninvited whilst you lot probably already know each other from the bus (forums consumed my life first time round so trying to avoid that this time)
But I was honestly prepared for a bfn and ok with that for the first time ever - because I had you guys (puke) and the next party to plan! Whatever happens to this pg I now now that I do actually work cheers to that
