hi everyone, my husband and I were delighted we'd conceived baby #3 3 months after having my mirena removed. Unfortunately I miscarried at around 6 weeks, my bleeding started on 6th July and ended on 15th July, my hcg levels never got above 143 so they left my system pretty quick, by the 18th I was having bfn at the drs. I wondered when should I expect my AF? before the mc I was always 28 days bang on! I have had no symptoms for AF, although I have had really bad heartburn for 4 days, this was my first symptom last time too, so could I be pregnant? I'm useless at working out dates and cycles and ovulation etc..... we bd'd on 15th July and have been pretty consistently b'ding every other night since then with the exception of a couple of days. when should a test show bfp given all these dates? thanks for taking the time to read, hope someone has some advice for me x

Ah Greeneone - we'll miss you, but I still have my fx for you this month ...

greeneone12 · 26/09/2013 21:21

Good luck with your testing tomorrow :) How are you MrsA?

cheesysmile · 26/09/2013 21:46

Thanks Smile

cheesysmile · 27/09/2013 07:11

Morning ladies. I got my bfp this morning at 13 dpo, CB digi said 1-2 wks pregnant Grin

So happy and nervous at the same time, really hope its a sticky bean this time. I have decided to be positive though coz no matter what I tell myself it will hurt just as much if I have a mc so I may as well just and enjoy it and not think the worst. Oh I'm proper excited already!!!

greeneone12 · 27/09/2013 08:59

OH MY GOD!!! I have just got into work and this first thing I did was come here to check in to see if you have tested. So very happy for you cheesy I think you have the right attitude. Be positive. The alternative is rubbish :)

Really cross my fingers for you and wish you all the best xxx

Leons · 27/09/2013 10:01

Fab news. Massive congratulations to u. X

cheesysmile · 27/09/2013 14:06

Thanks guys Smile, I've got a proper grin on my face!

Lots of luck to everyone and I will keep checking in see how ur doing.

MrsRV · 27/09/2013 19:25

Cheesy!!!! That's amazing news! Congratulations. Remember what I said, conception with 6 months of MC means less likely MC or complications. This too will become your mantra.

Green one - I'm getting a little worried about the childcare costs for 2. Eeeeek. Pls feel free to ask any advice about HTB. Although I may not be able to help!?!

How's every1 else doing. I've not been on for a while. Enjoyed catching up with the posts.

I'm fat & eating lard & feeling rubbish. Only just made my Drs appointment. I am 7 weeks today, the exact day I had MC last time... So far so good, crossing everything & touching wood!!

MrsAnderson22 · 27/09/2013 19:44

aaah congrats cheesy!!! so happy for you! Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

woah who is left with me now? hope it's our time next :D it's lovely going through this with other women in the same boat.

well as I said before, pain has gone, my eye is still a bit weaker than the other but mouth is back to normal. uni is going great so far, workload is ridiculous but nowhere near as bad as it's going to be when I'm an 'actual' social workerConfused it's all exciting though!

so who's next to test then? xx

My AF is due tomorrow and although I am almost 99% convinced I will come on their is still a teeny bit of me that is being optimistic.

Thanks MrsRV but we have decided not to go for it. Going to save and buy the usual way. Glad you are doing well so far. I would take all the chances I could to eat rubbish.

MrsA glad your face is back to normal ish. Nothing like stacks of uni work to take your mind off things :)

Prepare for my tears tomorrow....

greeneone12 · 27/09/2013 21:28

Sorry - there is still a part of me, not their! So tired!! Off to bed x

Leons · 28/09/2013 00:32

greenone you are not out until the fat lady sings...or her nibs arrives.
mrsA good to hear Uni going well. exciting times.

I feel like Im in limbo, Im still bleeding/or having bloody discharges on going now for 10 days. I really dont think I ovulated this month, if my cycle is normal af is due Oct 6. So Im just waiting now for that so I can start all over again. Its just all so frustrating, I have a smear test on Mon (booked before this mid cycle bleeding started) and gp appointment on Fri. Hopefully I will get some answers and not be told that its normal after a mc, come back in a month (cos its not normal for me, its my 3rd mc, Ive not experienced it before). heavy sigh

cheesysmile · 28/09/2013 08:41

Thanks Mrsrv and Mrsa!

Glad all still going well for you mrsrv, I am trying to be positive and think it will be fine, although i am still nervous. Ive already got a docs appt booked for Monday as want to get in the system and need to ask abt something else anyway.

Mrsa sounds like ur getting better which is great news. I hope you also get ur bfp this cycle.

Any news yet this morning greeneone, I have FX for you.

Leons that sounds horrible, I really hope they don't just try and fob you off and can do something to help.

Hope everyone has a good weekend Smile

greeneone12 · 28/09/2013 16:06

Leons I know it won't make it any easier but having some answers will deffo be useful. So frustrating when things are all over the place. Like you say, sadly, you know this isn't normal :(

I was so regular before mc but wondering now if it has messed with my cycle and I won't be regular anymore. I scared myself reading about a lady who got blocked fallopian tubes after ERPC :(

I had a smear the other day. Last one was inconclusive but thankfully this one was fine.

No sign of AF yet but last month CD1 started at 5pm so it could easily be due tomorrow rather than today. Keep going to the loo to check if it has come yet. I am sure it will. I will need a little cry but will be fine after that. Off to a friends tonight to watch Saturday night tv so that will be good to spend some time with her and laugh a bit.

Leons · 29/09/2013 12:52

greenone any news for us.

Af arrived this morning for me, a week earlier than expected so I guess my cycle isn't back to normal at all. Hopefully this is start of a normal cycle and we can get on with things.

wispywoo1 · 29/09/2013 21:16

hi I'm new to this. Found out I was pg about 3 weeks ago but went to A&E on thurs due to bleeding through the night. Tested HGC levels and did an internal scan and found no sign of a baby, just a thick womb lining. levels were approx 9000 or something. Suspected an ectopic pregnancy however they ruled that out with another internal scan. I would like to start ttc again around November. would this be realistic? congrats on the bfps!

cheesysmile · 30/09/2013 07:30

Leons that's rubbish, hope this is the start of the cycle you will get your positive.

Hi wispy, so sorry for your lose. All the ladies here know what you're going through. I had my mc in July and just got another bfp so based on that I would say November is fine but obviously everyones bodies deal with it differently so just see how you go, no probs trying tho.

wispywoo1 · 30/09/2013 08:47

I'm so scared to try again. If I get pregnant again I'll be at the same stage around Christmas and I don't want a mc to ruin Christmas :-( at least we now know we can conceive though. We tried for 3 months but only properly for 2 months, so atleast we know everything is working okish!

LittleMissPear · 30/09/2013 11:43

Hi wispywoo - sounds like we are in the same situation. I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks ago and had an early mc last wednesday. Bleeding has now just about stopped. I didn't have a scan or anything as it was so early. Now I really just want to get going to get pg again - would it be a bad thing to start ttc straight away?
Cheesysmile - your story gives me hope that I can concieve again quicky. I am ttc 1 and this was about our 4th month trying.

wispywoo1 · 30/09/2013 14:42

I think I might wait until I've had one cycle and see how things are then. I know my cycle pretty well and can tell when I'm ovulating etc. I just hope everything starts quickly. sorry if this is tmi but I've not lost a lot of blood. are you sure that you're over the worst of it littlemisspear? I hate the not knowing!

greeneone12 · 30/09/2013 16:10

LittleMiss and Wispy welcome. Just some info for you. I bled very little after my ERPC. I feel lucky really. Also with regards to trying again you will know when the time is right. If you read and research online you will drive yourself crazy. In my opinion it won't help anyone if you get back to it before your emotionally ready so I would say give yourself time. You will know when to get going again.

News my end....we there IS news but I am too scared to actually type it out :)

greeneone12 · 30/09/2013 16:11

Leons everything crossed this end that your cycle is finally back to normal xx

cheesysmile · 30/09/2013 18:14

greeneone does that mean what I think it means... don't tease me like this ... I need to know!!!

cheesysmile · 30/09/2013 18:20

wispy & littlemiss unless you've been told otherwise by doc then you can start ttc as soon as you feel ready. That's the only thing to worry abt, how you feel. Its a really emotional thing to go thru and some people will want to wait whereas others just want to get back to it. I was the latter so we just went for it. That's not to say I didn't feel crap etc but was my way of dealing with it. Wishing you lots of luck whenever you decide to try again Flowers

greeneone12 · 30/09/2013 21:30

I am scared to tell anyone - it is what you think it is :) scared to say the words out loud!
