I didn't have any bleeding either! Just keep resting up. I was more sore the next day, so make sure you stay on top of the pain with paracetamol.

Hi guys, just oping on to say hello and share a lovely story with you. My friend knows someone who was ttc for 10years. Eventually they found a massive polyp that was impacting on her health and the only treatment was a hysterectomy! Before the op she had a routine pregnancy test and she was preggers! She now has a lovely ds! How crazy is that! X

Kitty I love those stories but they always make me despair a bit as I don't want to be waiting 10 years for my baby. I've waited long enough already!

I've had the call from the embryologist. Only 11 eggs were mature and of them 6 have fertilised. They are going to call again on Friday to decide if we have a day 3 transfer or wait for day 5. Now starts the new mentalling, last night I was worried none of them would fertilise and now I'm scared we will be lucky to have any left in a few days and we won't get to blast.

6 is excellent Cups! What makes them choose between day 3 and day 5 transfer..?

It's on how many there are, musical, if lots they wait a bit to help choose the best.

cups that's just great. 6 is brilliant, I'm sure you'll get some blasts from that. That's a good fertilization rate. Are you putting just one back or would you consider 2? Rest up and enjoy your time not responsible for those lovely little embies.

Musical If when they look at them on day 3 they are all similar and dividing then I think they try to take them to day 5 so they can try to pick the best ones.

Thanks for the dancing Boo, I'm not old enough to remember pans people but I have watched TOTP2 enough to know what your talking about! I don't know what to do with myself for the next few days. DH is working as are all my close friends. I'm still feeling quite sore so not sure if going for a walk or out shopping is a good idea.

Keep I wouldn't mind putting back two but I won't get that option as my clinic normally only allow one for my age group.

6 is great cups try not to mentall too much. Easy for me to say, as we didn't get told about how it had gone untill we got into the room for the transfer - I certainly don't recommend that though. Anyway 6 from 11 mature eggs is greater than 50% fertilisation , and even if you don't get to 5 days its not a failure. They don't take anyone to blast at my clinic and women still get pregnant.

I think that's sensible cups. Success rates are the same for set then fet, than det, but lower risks. I think a short walk tomorrow, but today stay home, maybe bake something yummy, film. No way would I go shopping, but then I hate shopping!

I guess if I'm being really honest (I've not said this to DH) with myself I know the first cycle is less likely to work so I think I've been pining all my hopes on some good frosties so we can do FET.

Cups try not to fret. I know this is really difficult. But I only had 4 eggs fertilized and 2 embies put back day 3 and look at me now. Try not to be down if you have day 3 transfer as I can vouch that it can still work. Take it easy today, keep your feet up and enjoy your cake. I am so jealous of your cake.

6 is fantastic Cups I had 6 and look at me now! One step at a time lovely, during this whole ttc process I have become one of those people that says 'we'll cross that bridge when we come to it' try not to worry as there's nothing you can do now. Just prepare yourself for that embie to settle into it's new home for the next 8.5 months!

Thanks everyone for telling me what I already know. I am determined to be positive from now on. I'm happy that we have got this far and that we have got 6 fertilised embies dividing as we speak
