That's great news Beetle. I'm so pleased you are feeling ready to move on.

I call him ernie (the embryo) but everyone else calls him Fin. I just had my booking in but have come home to some pale brown gunk, and am now terrified. It just doesn't get any easier!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 20/08/2013 18:07

Bloody autocorrect. I meant Beedle obviously Wink

ScarlettInSpace · 20/08/2013 18:59

maybe gunk is normal I'm sure, it's part of the getting comfy routine x

beedle good news all is well, did you find out the swedish for sore boobs?

How's the jabbing going kitty ?

Ooooh in other news brookers I have got a job interview next week Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 20/08/2013 19:15

Thanks Scarlett x

Tell us more about this job!!

ScarlettInSpace · 20/08/2013 21:03

Well it's a new company, more money & people management which I want, I'm really excited about it, I know I fit the brief I guess I've just got to show them that!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 20/08/2013 21:06

I'm so chuffed for you!! Sounds perfect!! When's the interview?

BlindKitty · 20/08/2013 21:08

geek I have so much to learn re ivf! How long do you have to down reg for? Did you not have done envies in the freezer? Oh and I felt so bad about the pigeon, I put a load of bread out for the birds this morning! Clearly guilt food!!!

ThedementedPenguin · 20/08/2013 21:14

Scarlett the job sounds great. Lots of luck for the interview. Knock their socks off Grin

kitty how you made me laugh at guilty bird food.

BlindKitty · 20/08/2013 21:24

scarlett it's easy peasy! Don't know what I was worried about!

ControlGeek · 20/08/2013 22:10

Oooh good luck scarlett, the job sounds fab!

beedle I'm brooking like crazy that it was just bad luck for you, and that things go swimmingly (pun intended) this time for you. Did they say why you have quite a high dose of stims though? Glad your eggs were in better nick than they originally made out, that must be a huge relief.

kitty I will be down regging for two months, longer than most, because my cons wants to really dry up my endometriosis and try to shrink my fibroid a bit before stimming. I went from 8 eggs, 6 of which fertilised, down to just one on-par emby by day 3 so no, no frosties.

maybe lovely, I am sure it is completely nothing, but it must be worrying for you. Are you still on the progesterone?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 20/08/2013 22:44

Thanks Geek, yes I am. On it till 12 weeks. It's all stopped now. It was just a one off. Sorry to moan about my woes lovely ladies x

BeedlesPineNeedles · 21/08/2013 07:17

scarlett good luck with the interview, though if I may offer some tips, I recommend that you don't go dressed as a pot plant. Other people might not understand :o

maybe am I being a bit thick, where did the name Fin come from?

kitty how much longer will you be jabbing?

geek I think it it because I am getting old and I had a fairly low AFC. Might also be related to my FSH levels but I don't know what they are. And it seemed to work OK last time with regard to teh number of eggs that I got

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 21/08/2013 07:34

Morning, long time no see, been a busy summer with teen and toddly having a hectic social life and me looking on being quite jealous

nice to see you still around Wink

Good luck with the interview scarlet brooking for you.

Beedle your appointment sounded very positive and promising, brooking for you lovely.

Kitty hope the jabs continue to go well, I missed what happened with the pigeon?

Pen so pleased work was better than you thought, long may it continue :)

Maybe of course it was a one off, Fin is perfectly fine and comfortable that won't stop you worrying though

Can't remember who asked, but Fin is called Fin because it is deFINitely maybes baby Grin

ControlGeek · 21/08/2013 12:55

boobooboobooboo!!! Lovely to see you! You do know that my microchip unlocks the catflap, don't you? Glad you jave bern busy, eben if the social life does just nelong to teen and toddly.

Sorry for typoes, I have nightmare nails and can't tell which thing I'm pressing on my phone - really must chop them off!

RubberBullets · 21/08/2013 13:08

Loving the Imps fingers Geek :o

keepitgoing · 21/08/2013 13:13

beedle great that your appointment went well, and I think it's good news the embies weren't bad as they led you to believe. That suggests that it was just bad luck. So you'll be starting soon? We're with you all the way!! Our dances are growing more coordinated each time.

glamourGeek with your long nails (i'm assuming they're not just long and raggedy!). Great to see you as well. Sounds like you have a good plan as well, though I'm not surprised. You will have a foolproof plan to ensure that downregging falls when you want it, eh? Wink You will be pleased to know I have 9 weeks of work before Kip is born, but not impressed that I have no spreadsheet, and all I have bought it one pair of socks. I am a bit overwhelmed by the move and all, so hoping that Kip doesn't come early (or late!!).

scarlett nice one on the job interview. maybe got her bfp just after getting a new job, so I'm brooking you will be the same.

I picked up my kitty cat from my brother today. I'm so happy to have her back! :)

BeedlesPineNeedles · 21/08/2013 13:37

boo and keep lovely to see you both here

keep I should start DRing again in about a month, hopefully it will only be for 2 weeks but it could be slightly longer, depending on how busy they are.
Is it only 9 weeks till kip is due or have you 'planned' a few weeks of rest (or maybe shopping!)?

ControlGeek · 21/08/2013 13:38

Right, trying again, will see how much I remember of everyone's podys this time!

maybe glad to hear your gunk has stopped, prrhaps it was ctinone-i.duced?

beedlr you are not old my lovely!!! But the cli.ics know best, and as you say you had a greT little crop of eggs last time.

keep yes, long and shapely (my nails) apart from one that I broke when I mowef the lawn. So sorry you are currently spreadshhet-deprived. I would be happy to whip one up for you Grin Yay to the reunion with yoir kittycat, she must be so pleased to see you back.

Ladies, there is officially something worse than a bloodbath dildocam. It's true: full bikini wax whilst AF is in the house. Not fun at all, and definitely not to be recommended! So embarrassed about havi.g a wax done whilst af was here, I tucked the string out of sight and now can't find the bugger. Oh, and did you know being on makes you more sensitive to pain? I nearly screamed the place down!

RubberBullets · 21/08/2013 13:42

You need a mooncup Geek :o and a servant to write your posts for you

keepitgoing · 21/08/2013 13:43

oh geek what were you thinking going while AF was in town?!?!?

no beedle I have another 14 weeks, but not starting for another week, and then stopping 4 weeks early as I'm not sure I will be wanting to do able to handle the commute. Hope you can just DR for the minimum of time, as that seems to be the hardest part for many (physically, I mean. Of course the tww takes the biscuit on craziness)

ControlGeek · 21/08/2013 14:16

rubber after saying how much heavier my afs have been since ivf, this one has been so light I've only needrd to use a liner all the way through. I just panicked before my salon appointment so used my emergency mouse as a just in case. I have a mooncup somewhere but got fed up of it leaking all the time.

keep i know, i know, but I have had to move a lot of my salon appointments and feel bad as it messes my salom lafy around. Also i've been so light this time zi didn't think it would mattre. Lrsson learned!

ControlGeek · 21/08/2013 14:18
EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 21/08/2013 14:30

Pah, regging shmegging you'll walk it Geek said hopefully Wink

BeedlesPineNeedles · 21/08/2013 14:31

geek it was fine for me, so fine I wasn't even sure it was working! I just didn't want to tempt fate by agreeing to DR for about 5 weeks and whilst we're on holiday. The dr warned me we would have to keep the nasal spray cool otherwise it wouldn't work, not so good when its currently about 35 deg where we're going. Plus by delaying a couple of weeks it gives MrB's healthy living more time to take effect :o I'm expecting super sperm this time!

ControlGeek · 21/08/2013 15:13

Thanks ladies, I am sure I will be fine and breeze through it Quick question though - can you drink when you are down regging? I've spreadsheeted various scenarios (what, me? spreadsheet something? never!) and I'm either going to be dr-ing over my main religious holiday or over Christmas, both of which will involve copious quantities of the good stuff.

keep I honestly can't believe that your mat leave is so close! It barely seems like a couple of weeks since you announced your BFP. Are you settled in your midlands home now? I can't wait for a meetup.

Speaking of which, can someone please text/pm me the details of the September meetup, if they've been finalised? I don't yet have a date for my diary...
