Thanks everyone, I've just been and had the blood test. I won't get the results until tomorrow afternoon. The GP I saw was a bit clueless to be honest and didn't want to give me two forms. I'm going to ring for the results and then ask for a test for the day after.

I keep telling myself I am pregnant, I dont think its a chemical as my lines have got stronger. Im just brooking that I'm one of the minority who has breakthrough bleeding x

Aaw Cups I do hope it is, didn't some of the others have it because of irritated cervix or similar? It's such a hard time for you and every day must seem like a year, but you will get there.

keepitgoing · 15/08/2013 11:16

Not that small a minority I think cups... An isolated blood test won't tell you much, as you know. You clearly have a good hcg level, it's the rise that matters.

GenericDietCola · 15/08/2013 11:18

Cups, you are pg and bleeding is very common. Try not to worry, hard I know, and we will keep brooking for you x

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 15/08/2013 11:21

Keep yeah I'm 13dp3dt so that makes me 16dpo. The GP I saw told me to just forget about it and test in a week Shock
The clinic were surprisingly supportive, the nurse asked why I tested early and when I explained about the bleeding she agreed it was the right thing to do. She said they only have such a long wait due to people getting false positives from the trigger. She said its not from the trigger (im 18 days post trigger) and that is doesn't sound like a chemical either. I'm going to try my best to stay away from Dr google as its not my friend.

Stupid GP. Was it a man....?
And the nurse, I bet everyone tests early!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 15/08/2013 11:28

Stoopid Dr!!!!! And of step away from Dr Google too!!

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 15/08/2013 11:39

No it was a women, she was totally clueless. I felt bad for her as I was a bit short with her (I did apologise afterwards). First she said she would refer me to an epu, I told her they wouldn't do anything. She rung them anyway and they said no its too early for them to do anything. Then she said to me that at least I didn't have to worry about it being ectopic as that wouldn't be possible from IVF. I then had to tell her that actually there is a higher chance of ectopic with IVF. She was a bit embarrassed from that. I knew she wouldn't be able to anything. I only went there because if this goes badly I want it recorded as a miscarriage I don't want the insinuation that it was probably a chemical.

Cups could I make a suggestion? I have heard stories that ladies that have two embies out back can sometimes have a lot of bleeding as 1 has implanted and the other hasn't. I don't mean that to sound horrible. I mean it in a good way Smile. I would definitely push for a second beta.

Brooking super hard x

musicalmrs · 15/08/2013 11:52

I know it won't help you relax in the slightest Cups, but bleeding and spotting really is incredibly common - it's not just a minority that get it. Congratulations on being a PSEPP Smile

Kitty, although I guess that isn't great news in itself, it's great that you now have a plan of action going forward! you'll be confirmed as updiffed in no time at all :-)

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 15/08/2013 11:53

Don't worry Maybe I know what your saying. I have thought about that myself. I haven't mentioned it to DH as I think it would upset him, he can be very sensitive x

OP posts:
NoMaybeAboutIt · 15/08/2013 12:18

Would it not maybe reassure him a bit Cups? That there's definitely at least one strong one in there? I'm really not meaning to sound heartless, I'm just trying to give you some hope lovely. I'm sure things will come good. Have the clinic said when they will scan you?

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 15/08/2013 12:27

I don't know if it would tbh. He's very squeamish/ funny about medical stuff. God help us if I ever give birth, I don't know if he could hack it! He knows I've been bleeding but if I try to talk about it, he goes a bit pale and changes the subject.

If I've still got a BFP on Monday ill get a scan at 7 weeks.

You mean When you give birth Cups Wink

GreenOlives · 15/08/2013 14:39

cups Glad you've got blood tests sorted - I'm brooking no argument that they will show a textbook rise in hcg! Smile
Great news for beedle and kitty too! Smile

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 15/08/2013 15:19

Well things aren't looking too good. I'm in quite a bit of pain now. Back ache and stomach cramps. I'm bleeding quite heavily. I think it's all over now.

OP posts:
EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 15/08/2013 15:35

Oh Cups I hope not :( sorry if it is Thanks

keepitgoing · 15/08/2013 15:58

Oh no cups. Well I won't stop brooking. Come on, cupette, hang on in there! Flowers

NoMaybeAboutIt · 15/08/2013 16:00

I'm brooking too Cups. Look at Musical, things worked out just fine. I wouldn't right anything off till your bloods are back and you've had a repeat.

Maybe a soak in a warm bath might help?

Thinking of you x

Solars · 15/08/2013 16:44

Oh gosh Cups lots of hand holding and brooking from me too x

Solars · 15/08/2013 16:46

I also recall you having a very thicker than average womb lining, could it just be some of that coming away to make more room for the embie? Big hugs x

ThedementedPenguin · 15/08/2013 16:59

cups have you been speaking to doctors or clinic?

RubberBullets · 15/08/2013 18:05

DinoSnores · 15/08/2013 18:26
