Cups I was very bloated after EC for about 6-7 days. Just drink plenty. Is your wee clear? If it's clear I think you're ok. Are you constipated too? I love how we share. Boo to getting up and double boo to first day back.

Boo get your backside back here

Nurse don't say the t word Shock

nearlyanurse · 05/08/2013 22:53

My bad Maybs, nothing worse... Try Baked Alaska B&Js...? It's what I recommend to all my patients...nurse fail

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 05/08/2013 23:02

I'm only worried as I am getting bigger as each day goes on! I've put on 2lbs since yesterday. My wee practically looks like water Grin I'm a constipated but managed to go earlier sorry for the over share Wink

nearlyanurse · 05/08/2013 23:08

Clear pee means you're well-hydrated cups, good job! Mine is currently like irn-bru (seeing as we're sharing) - not so good! Speak to your clinic/nursey-type people if you're worried - that's what they're there for x

ThedementedPenguin · 05/08/2013 23:12

We love the over share cups Grin

I'm good, the tiredness is kicking in but so far (touch wood, fingers crossed) its not as bad as last time. Also I'm finding if I eat chocolate I feel a bit sick.

I'm finding it all so wierd as with my first I tested because I woke up exhausted, spent all day half asleep on the phone at work and the sickness (although never actually sick) was awful. I'm waiting for it to kick in and remind me of how it was.

Wow what a speech.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 06/08/2013 05:39

I'd take the clear pee as a good sign Cups. And your bloods never came back a worry did they? If you are at all concerned, call the clinic though. Hope your first day back isn't too awful x

Pen I have crippling tiredness. Was the first thing I had. Then the nausea. But you may escape it this time

BeedlesPineNeedles · 06/08/2013 07:47

Cups I was bloated for what seemed like ages too - I can't actually remember how long. Though I recalll I was quite pleased that I could do my jeans up to go to work (even though I usually need a belt to keep them up). But give the clinic a call, I'm sure they won't mind, and if they say its normal you can start worrying about soemthing else :o

By the way I've called the men in white coats to take maybe and nurse away. They'll be back soon once they've had a little rest :o

nearlyanurse · 06/08/2013 11:49

beedles how I'd love a little rest, sounds good to me. As long as I have maybe with me to take my mind of ttc mentalness (any other mentalness is ok in my book).

BlindKitty · 06/08/2013 19:35

nurse loving the 'brooker ghetto' - this needs to go in the next thread title!!!!

cups boo to ohss, have you spoken with your fc/nurse?

penguin we need to save 'pingu' for your bean when he comes along!

So in my news I called the hospital yesterday and disputed my clomid dosage with iui. My prog levels at 100mg were 115! I've googled it and normal levels seem to be about 10-30. So the nurse agreed I can reduce to 50mg, just can't understand why the fc was so set on 100mg! Really can't afford to waste an iui because of the fc's incompetence!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 07/08/2013 07:26

excellent news kitty but surely if they had to cancel an iui becasue you overstimulated that wouldn't count. I know you don't want to waste a month but surely you'd still get 3 actual attempts (it is possible I am being very naive). Is it next week you start taking teh clomid?

I'm waiting for AF to turn up so I can call the clinic to organise exact dates for my next attempt. MrB found an something on our company intranet about how we can choose to pay for fertility treatment directly from our pre-tax salary (therefore saving approx 30%) Which, if we get to that stage, is pretty damn good. I haven't looked into it very closely as I'm obviously hoping one of our free goes will work, but its good to have a back-up plan 2 years ago I thought that the free goes at IVF were a good back up plan

SweetieTime · 07/08/2013 08:25

Cups thinking of you love. Hope you are coping ok. Any concerns speak to the clinic, that is what they are there for.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 07/08/2013 09:05

Kitty well done on getting your clomid dose sorted. When do you start then?

Beedle I hope (for once!) AF turns up soon so you can get your next cycle sorted. That's great about the tax savings for IVF. I know what you mean, I'm starting to think about what we will do if we use up our 3 attempts.

I haven't bothered ringing the clinic as I know they won't be interested plus some of the bloating has gone down. Which is now fuelling my paranoia that it hasn't worked. I can't bloody win! This is going to be a rough couple of weeks. Im 5dpt and am currently mentalling that implantation should have happened between day 3-4 and I've felt nothing. I've not even had a bit of spotting to give me some hope of implantation bleeding. I've still got 12 days until OTD.........

OP posts:
keepitgoing · 07/08/2013 09:35

oh cups you CANNOT know if it has worked. Bloating or not, spotting or not, nothing is reliable due to all that's happened to you and the fanny candles. You just have to hang in there. Your OTD is stupidly late though, so I expect you'll be testing at the weekend.

beedle you have great options over there in sweden, hey! Not that you'll need them. Do you get three free goes then? I hope that you get to have a good talk with the clinic about what happened to your embies and why they didn't all progress as expected, and if they are going to change anything. Will be interesting to have their take on what happened and don't let them fob you off. Will you be doing LP again?

nurse I'm brooking that this is your month.

Love to everyone else. I'm now back in the UK crazy busy organising our lives into some semblance or normality. We should be moving in to our rental on Friday, but first job is to get into the NHS. I plan to go to the surgery in a tight top to show off my bump and get me seen quickly!

You'll all be joining us soon, brookers, you mark my words!

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 07/08/2013 09:53

Thanks for the reality check Keep Smile I don't think you had any symptoms is that right? I'm going to try to hold out for another 8 days before testing as I want to do it when I've got a day off work.

Wearing a bump revealing top should help you get through the bouncers receptionists Grin

OP posts:
SweetieTime · 07/08/2013 10:27

cups I agree with keep there is no way of knowing. I had no spotting or cramps around implantation. Anything I had could have been down to the progesterone. hang in there lovely.

nearlyanurse · 07/08/2013 10:35

cups I'm desperate to start testing because I'm clearly mental, but will try and hold off for 8 days with you. Am due on in a week anyways, and could quite happily test twice daily until then, but I don't know if I can deal with the disappointment of more bfns.

No more spotting for me, not even any ridiculous symptom spotting, other than sore boobs (I had to actually hold them as I ran down the stairs this morning), but I was out running late last night, so that might explain it.

Biscuitsandtea · 07/08/2013 10:58

Hello lovely ladies. Thought I'd nip in for a bit of hand holding (for you of course, not me Smile).

Cups, lovely lady, I am brooking my brookingest brooking for you - hang in there! I think you have momentarily forgotten the key brooker rule for symptom spotting. Remember:

Any symptoms? Pregnant
No symptoms? Pregnant

Fact.

Your OTD is an age away - but we'll get there - remember we're all ere with you ticking the days off.

Nurse - I know we've not really met but hoping that your love south goes swimmingly. Remember though that since you are clearly already preggers, no heavy lifting for you young lady!

Hope everyone else is ok. Beedle when did you say your next appt was? How are all our newly PSEPPs?

Maybe - how many weeks now? Do you have a scan date coming soon?

nearlyanurse · 07/08/2013 11:19

biscuits, you rock my world, and make the best brownies ever I know, because I've already had 3...let's call it cravings.

Biscuitsandtea · 07/08/2013 11:24

Ha ha nurse of course that should have said MOVE south, not love south. That could be a whole different thing..... BlushWink

nearlyanurse · 07/08/2013 11:39

I prefer love south, and everything that might involve ;) that's bound to produce a baba x

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 07/08/2013 15:50

Biscuits!! So nice to see you. Thanks for popping by and reminding me of the diffed rules. I am of course pregnant and have my trusty Gu ramekin dusted off and ready for action. The poor thing has been discarded into a drawer with a pile of expired pregnancy tests. I found some internet cheapies that expired in jan 2012 Shock
Hope you, your DH and your two lovely boys are well x

Nurse I would love a pee stick buddy that's if we can wait that long. I'm thinking of handing all the tests to DH to hide!

I've just got back from my last acupuncture session. It was more painful than usual when she was putting the needles in. She thinks is to do with changes in hormones. Still it was a nice session overall and I had a sneaky nap.

OP posts:
keepitgoing · 07/08/2013 16:34

acupuncture more painful than usual? Diffed.
acupuncture normal? Diffed.

yes, I had no symptoms other than those that could quite easily have been the delightful white gunk. I think it's a good idea to wait till your day off. Will DH be home with you that day?

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 07/08/2013 18:04

A week on sunday is the only day we are both off work but I've just realised its his best mates birthday and we are meant to be out all day. Hmm this testing malarkey is going to be harder than I thought. I've asked someone to swap the saturday shift with me but I'm not holding out much hope. It's nearly impossible to get someone to do a Saturday.

I don't mind doing it in the morning before he goes to work but I'm worried that if its negative it might hit him pretty hard.

OP posts:
GenericDietCola · 07/08/2013 18:53

Oh cups, it must be extra hard to wait to test when you are pupo, but we're all with you. Hope you and DH can get a day off together to celebrate. I'm brooking!
