Ok, Boom, I too have PIMPed on an OPK and it isn't completely Arctic. The line is well-formed, but much lighter than the control. I'd say it looks like an OPK I'd get 2 days before a positive. Unfortunately, I'm not on the habit of PIMPing before AF, so no idea what this means!

I went through a phase of PIMPing OPKs in the run up to AF.
I found that before OV there would be no line, then a fade in over about 3 days in the run up to OV, then a fade out but it would never go back to completely blank there would always be a faint line.

As for using OPKs I got it down to a fine art. It had to be the second wee of the day. I would have my first thing in the morning wee, then after breakfast, shower etc just before leaving for work I would have a second wee and use that one.
And yes, the line would take a couple of minutes to develop, so I would take the OPK to work with me. This was all with internet cheapies and I got as good results with them as I did a CBFM.
Although I am now having IVF I do ovulate normally, I've just got blocked tubes!

Pip, I thought I had my opk routine sussed too but it didn't work this month, which was disappointing but maybe not surprising since it was my first clomid cycle. I think I'm just going to have to sweat this one out until AF arrives. Still got spotting if some description but its more of a pink/peach colour...

Oh Pip that gives me hope, so it's likely that I at least ovulated then even if I didn't get diffed? Even that would be better than nothing!

And since I'm happily symptom spotting away, I can report that this morning my nipples were out (normally they're inverted and very rarely make an appearance), and also I just had lunch and now feel sick and am burping lots which admittedly could just be because I'm gross or because I ate a sandwich when I normally avoid bread

cd24 here now, but so frustrating to not know when/if I Ov'd as I'll be getting my hopes up from cd28 onwards if AF doesn't show even though I've been up to cd37 before!! Gah. If it's coming can it please come sooner rather than later and put me out of my misery? I really want this one to work which is a stupid thing to say as I've wanted the previous 20 to work as well.
No opks with me so can't join the pimping group!!

Boo. Apparently PCOS can cause persistently high LH levels which means opks are bog-all use in telling whether I ovulated, and the line on the stick probably means nothing at all. Oh well, the hope was nice while it lasted!

Barking think yourself lucky you have nothing to pimp with, it's driving me bonkers! Have you got hpts with you?

Boodle I have perfect cycles and do ovulate, DH has SA results that are off the chart. However at some point I must have got an infection that has left my tubes scared. This means that the things stopping me getting pg is that the egg and sperm can never meet as there is in effect a wall in the way.
So I'm hopeful that IVF will do the job.

I caved in and bought a pack of 2 Boots cheapies on my way home but have decided to wait till tomorrow when AF is due. I haven't had any symptoms at all till now but this evening I'm as bit crampy so think she's probably on her way

I think I'm out this month before even DTD. Have potentially pencilled in some bedroom action for tomorrow evening and fairly regularly after that but even if we did get a fertilised egg the endometrial accommodation will not be up to it's usual standards! Still spotting after the op last Friday and expect to OV this Friday.

On the plus side, I posted our IVF questionnaire today complete with photos. I was in Sainos at 8:30am to get photo taken, so hair and make up at their best! Hopefully they'll give us funding because we look so nice as well as fulfilling all the other criteria!

Well, the diet has gone out of the window, but back on track today, so hoping to reach my mini target before we head off on holiday on 18th. Coincidentally, that's when I think af is due. Think this cycle will be a couple of days shorter....
