Wow the bus got busy, hi everyone!

Were not doing too much different really while ttc, trying smep this month, taking folic acid, and we bought a juicer a while back as we thought we'd try and up our fruit and veg intake while ttc (were quite bad at getting our 5 a day every day!) Other than that just carrying on as normal really.

I bought it off Amazon. It comes with applicators (haven't used them though) and 5 ic preg tests

I find ttc really motivates me to eat well ... Until AF arrives, then I pig out :(

I'm saving preseed for next month ... Keeping it in the back pocket so we can try different things each month makes me feel a bit more positive

Just paid a fortune for pregnacare his n hers conception vitamins ... Every little helps ?

I totally get why you're doing that lavenders, makes good sense. I went the other way and thought 'let's do this' and bought it straight away!

I keep seeing people using pregnacare all over these boards. I'm using sanatogen 'mum to be', is pregnacare any different/better?

I bought pre-seed and really dislike it. Way too watery and wet for me but others seem to get on with it ok. Think I'll try conceive+ next time
Have started Mr Pixie on zinc. I don't know if it'll help anything but thought worth a try. I'm on pre-pregnancy vitamins and b6 to lengthen cycle

Oh girls I've got a urinary tract infection ... Nhs website says : empty your bladder after sex to prevent them ... Can't do that when I've got my legs in the air :(

yeah I would say that preseed is quite wet, I don't mind it though Confused am just careful only to use a little bit. Having said that, if we've not conceived by the time it runs out will prob try conceive plus next time just to see if it makes a difference.

How the uti clears up soon lavenders, I think legs in the air is probably a myth anyway but still do it Haha! Wouldn't worry if you can't!

aww hope it clears up soon Lavender. I actually had my legs int he air away from the bed after dtd last night middle of the night as I wanted a tmi to sleep on a dry bed. My partner walked in and was very confused so i dont think i will even bother trying to explain other reasons for my legs in the air, he thought me very strange

So long as you pee after having your legs in the air that should be enough to flush out any bacteria. I keep my legs up for up to 5mins, I figure if they haven't got to where they need to be by then it's not going to help any!

Yep I'll be peeing from now on Disney! I don't think I want to wait for a very lazy swimmer to get in there!

Waiting for doc to ring, I can't take anything for the infection because I'm breastfeeding, just hope she doesn't say 'no more dtd' !

I always pee after and have a wee clean up Grin it is more habit than anything else now

I always pee too. Back in the day, shortly after I met DH, I kept getting cystitis which then led to kidney infections. Time and again the doctors prescribed me the antibiotics, but never mentioned I should be peeing after sex! My friend had to tell me! Since I learned that excellent tip, I've never had a UTI since.

Clearly tempting fate there. Smile

Hi all Smile just had a mass shop at boots including tampax (hopefully first and last box!) cb digital ov tests, and seven seas "try for a baby". Pre-seed arrived in the post this am too. Does it matter whether I start the seven seas now or should I wait for Af to f off?

You're all set to go tea! I'd start taking it now. Is it your source of folic acid? I take my 'mum to be' every day even when I have af as its where I get my folic acid.

I've got a really good feeling this month for lots of bfp's!

tea sounds like you're all set! Think it takes a while for body to build up vits so I'd get going now if I was you.

I used to always pee after dtd but I got paranoid I was wee-ing the fishies down the loo so now I just go to sleep with some tissue strategically placed! Avoids the damp patches vikki without hanging over the bed!

I never knew that we should pee after sex to avoid utis. I normally always do except when ttc since I try to keep all the juices in Grin
SMEP going according to plan so far. I think I ovulated yesterday or today since I have mega ovulation pains tonight. Am i the only one who gets these pains? they are so much worse than period pains. The last thing I feel like is dtd again tonight but I might just give it another shot just in case.

How's the weather in the UK people? Is it still hot? It's always hot where I am at this time of year so we've been beaching it every day. I'm really trying to make the most of being a SAHM. Before I know it I'll be back in an office and feeling very jealous of all the teachers having the summer off!
