I'm brand new to this and this will be first cycle for me so very excited...

I've been on the implant for 6 years and had to wait 55 days for AF to turn up, finished AF last week, thank god so can TTC now

Only thing is I'm not sure when my next AF/hopefully BFP is due, I've guestimated on a regular cycle circa 18th august....I hope that's reasonable (I didnt have periods on implant).

So details are:

Hey ladies, when is the earliest you can do a pregnancy test??

snoozy I was also on the implant with no periods. Brilliant wasn't it? My cycles have been pretty regular since, think I had 30,28,29 or something. I had it taken out in the morning and I got my first AF that afternoon!

paully I've been told its 4 days before AF if you use an early pregnant test, they have sensitivity if 10miu or something

It depends on the quality of the test, right? Presumably the cheapo ones are less sensitive?

AF due today but no sign yet, although I'm very tired, have a headache and white cm and a bit hot and sicky. Wish she would hurry up so we can crack on with our first proper month of ttc!

Oh the waiting ! Last month I tested way too early and had to test again... This month I'm almost scared to test, scared to see a bfn again, I'm testing in the morning if the witch doesn't get me overnight, got butterflies just thinking about it xxx

I haven't tested again since the other day, I'm trying really hard to hold out for bfp date!! DP off for a few days so just going to relax and enjoy each other (and the kids!)

BFN this morning ladies. Lesson of the month for me - get up and have a wee after dtd, I think the uti and antibiotics scuppered our plans this month.

I'm tempted to buy some tests today but feel I would just be 'jinxing' myself! No symptoms though apart from usual pre AF who's due to show her ugly head on Monday.

AF today and that's good because it's last 'bleed' I'm having on the pill and it means next week is week one of TTC. Just praying that my cycle returns quickly.

Ok ladies what do you think: 6dpo which was tues (tmi) I wiped & it was pink. I had cramping in my left side & on weds thought I was gonna be sick at work & came over all hot. Feeling bunged up today & for the past few days my abdomen has felt tight. When I ran my hand near my pelvic bone I felt it was slightly enlarged on the left side. Now am I getting my hopes up? Af is due weds. Im keeping fingers crossed.

That sounds good monkette. Last month when I got my shortlived positive I had a stabbing cramp for a couple of minutes on 6dpo and funny feelings down there from then on (with spotting/implantation from 8dpo to 12dpo). Also had sniffly nose after ovulation right through but can't remember what dpo that started! Fingers crossed!

Just to add I developed a cold around the 24th which would have been around implantation time. Still got it, I kinda guess my body was busy elsewhere to bother with the immune system.

Superdrugs tests are really sensitive and not too expensive. The internet cheap ones are good too (10 miu/ml ones).

HCG will be detectable 2-3 days after implementation, which happens on average 9 dpo, but could range from anywhere between 6-12 dpo. To be more certain, test on the day AF is due. If you want to test earlier, 12 dpo is still quite reliable, but earlier than that probably not.

Anyone else mainlining substances on the "best avoided when pregnant" list? I'm currently working my way through a large mound of mould ripened, stinking, runny cheese and am looking forward to a rather nice large glass of wine tonight.

Hi ladies, I'm new to mumsnet but can I jump on board the bus please?

I was briefly pregnant (5wks) from our first cycle of ttc but had mc 10 days ago and have had confirmation with a scan today. On the plus side all is now normal and BFN so can start trying again (after a big glass of wine tonight!).

Thought it would be nice to have some extra support and join in with you lovely ladies.

Commiserations to those who joined the bus from the antenatal threads I hope you get a Sticky Bean very soon!

I am currently 50dpo. Last BFN 3 days ago. So far symptoms include constant but mild lower abdominal pain (for the past 8 days), daily sporadic bouts of mild nausea, a few headaches (most likely work related), nipple sensitivity and some boob tingles.
I've booked an appt. to see my GP in a few weeks. I've been googling my symptoms today and concluded that I must have Endometriosis. Although in previous months I've convinced myself I've had a number of other ailments including PCOS and Pituatry Tumours!
Honestly I used to be a sensible, down-to-earth, chilled out woman. Now I'm an emotional, up-tight crazy lady!

I've given DH my HPTs on strict instructions to hide them and only give me one a week. I'll be POAS every tues until I get a BFP or AF turns up using OPKs as make shift HPTs is fair game

We're on holiday in a week so hopefully that will help take my mind off things for a bit.
Anyone else got fun stuff planned this month?

Got some good news today, hubby is coming off the medication which hinders TTC (if you know what I mean ) and he'll be put on something else with different side effects.

Been feeling a bit low last week or so which is why I've not posted much, I have been quietly lurking though.
