Hi thatsso, sorry to hear you lost your bean. I got bfp 2nd july and lost it 8days later so I know how you feel Sad Did not have a clue when I would ovulate again but got smiley on the digital on Thursday which was 17 days after miscarriage bleeding started (would usually ovulate day 17) so seems I've picked up where I left off thank goodness. Fingers crossed we have a sticky one soon!

Hi Marie, got my bfp on 4th July. Sad It sucks, doesn't it? My whole mc has been a bit confusing so far. Had spotting for the first two weeks and bleeding only started on Thursday last week. Currently waiting for it to stop, so really no clue when I'm going to ov again. I think we'll wait for next af to arrive, before I go back to using opks. We don't have much of a chance now anyway, since we'll be flying out for our wedding in a few days and will then be staying with family for over a week (which, I think, is the week I'm most likely to ov - brilliant).

baby I'd agree if my brain was only just on a go slow, it's been like it most of the year Confused
I also spend a lot of time choosing the future carriage of wished for one.... I buy loads of baby things-they all go to my amazing niece (under the proviso that they come back when I need them!) but I do love browsing (OH wouldn't understand, he thinks I'm obsessed enough as it is!)

When did you get a negative test thatsso? My friend spotted for 2 weeks just after her bfp and gp said she was 'threatening miscarriage'. Fortunately it stopped and all was ok. Maybe your complete miscarriage didn't happen until last Thursday? I only spotted for just over a day before the bleeding came full on.... Congratulations on your wedding. On a positive note at least you can enjoy some champers on the day now!

tea I don't understand them lol I'm using cb ones too. So if you get a flashing one it means you have high fertility and if it's static...?

Marie I haven't had a negative test yet (got the midwife at EPU all worried). However, internal scan showed everything had gone and hormone levels had halved between 11th and 13th July and then refused to budge any further...not sure what the result was last Thursday, but they weren't happy with it not dropping any further, so I'm going in again next week when they will hopefully finally have dropped...considering that bleeding has started, I hope that is a good sign and we can finally start ttc again. We'll just see what happens. Plan is to try to dtd every other day once the bleeding stops, except for the time when we are in company. Grin Well, at least the next baby will most likely be conceived by a married couple - very unusual in my family Hmm - and yes, I get to be drunk at my wedding. Wine

Depends which type you have jelly. With the advanced (purple) you get flashing smilies which indicates high fertility then a fixed smiley which remains on the test stick for two days when you've reached peak fertility. The original cb digital (pink) will show "o" for infertile then a :) when you've reached your fertile stage. The advanced ones just give you a longer window/more warning

Hey tea, yeh I've got the advanced one, had flashing since Thursday, got jelly on Friday, although was flashing, and got a fixed smiley today. All bases covered had sex on all days so fingers crossed!

I remember a poster way back asked if it was heavy. It is now, and it's bright red again, and I've had cramps for a couple of days. Almost like a brand new AF but without a gap in between...

Chubby as a health prof I would say defo see your gp. Any chance you could have been pregnant but still had your usual period and this bleed could unfortunately be a miscarriage/chemical pregnancy? I know a small proportion of women still get usual period. Sorry haven't read back to the start to see if you had been testing. It's a strange one!

Had a great week last week thank you! Smile

My pregnant sister, 13 year old niece and 2 year old nephew came to stay last Tuesday. I live in central London so we had a busy week... Lots of fun!

My brother in law then came up on Friday night (he couldn't come any earlier due to work) and we carried on with the fun and games all weekend Grin they left on Sunday morning... Boooo. Although its nice to have a quiet house again!

Such a good week even though AF was with me for 4 days of it!!!! Angry

Anyway AF has gone and I'm now on cd7. Last month I didn't ovulate til cd25 but I don't trust my body at all after coming off the pill in december/january so started using OPKs today (I've got loads of them so I don't mind!)

DH knows that we will be really going for it this month.. LOTS of dtd and we're gonna give it our all!

Last month we only managed to dtd a couple of times around ovulation and it was a poor effort really! Grin

Hope everyone is well and hope we get lots of BFPs this month... It's nearly AUGUST! Can't believe how quickly this year is going.. It'll be Christmas soon Grin

Am I the only person already POAS? AF BFP due on 2nd August, but I already tested this morning (10dpo). I wish I didn't since I have a strange greyish shadow on the test that came up within minute 2 and 3 but I don't think its a BFP. I guess I'll be testing again tomorrow...but ideally I'd wait til 12dpo.

nin hurrah I think you're our first poas-er! Does sound potentially promising so I'll be back first thing tomorrow to see if you've tested again! I'm in limbo time at the most, about 6-7dpo so too early to test. Will def be poas by cd 10 though! I did find an amazing tea room with the best cake ever on Saturday so that has kept me occupied this weekend!

Marie I had done a test and got BFN so I'd assumed it was just AF. I certainly hope it's not what you say although many sensible people have told me to go so I will go. Have to go tomorrow though as I've missed the chance to ring up and get an appointment today..

Babyfaced what's norn iron? Haha could be another chubby or another kitty, there's a few combinations around!

I'm out for August already :-(

Although we decided to started ttc end of June, (which seems like forever ago) due to AF timings I've just gone through my first fertile period. I've had some health problems and ended up in hospital, so haven't been able to dtd for two weeks.

I've learnt a lot. Temps seem to show a good patterns and indicate ( so far) that I ovulated which is good to know. Also CB OPK seemed to back it up. Although it seems I had 5/6 fertile days rather than the 4 everyone talks about - does this sound right?
So that's al positive.

My next BFP will be due 10th September (!) sounds like light years away. Though technically I think I'll call it cycle 1 as this cycle didn't really get off the ground! It's a bit early to start a September bus, so instead I'll monitor you all from the bus stop and wait for the next bus to show up!
On the plus side, we're abroad until 11th September so I won't be able to POAS early! Downside - I might not want to drink whilst I'm away which could be a waste!

Hi jaykay sorry Af arrived but great to hear about all your charting! I've never done temping, am just relying on opks and cervical mucus - maybe that's where I'm going wrong! But I too have had 4 high fertility days and 2 peak fertility days (on day 2 of peak now) with clearblue. Its very common. Hope you're feeling better
