Another BFN this morning

The good news though is that is was the last pregnancy test in the house so I can't be tempted to try again

I'm going to order myself some tests and not test again until they arrive.

My period will probably also have arrived by then too......

No worries Definitelysometime, been reading up on it as was curious myself.

I think it's a symptom of the pg test you are supposed to be able to do four days early, but if you look on the box the statistics of getting a true result that early are so low. I just think they are are manipulating the hopes of us poor souls.

And many people get no symptoms, everyone is different but the hormones can take a while to start letting you know you are growing something inside you!

Thanks luxlisbon. Still haven't tested and will do my best to hold out till Sunday. I'm sure i would have caved by now had I felt any convincing symptoms but all I have is extreme overheating. Kind of have to let rationality have that one and attribute it to the unbearable lovely warm weather.

Af due today, can't make up my mind if I feel like it's coming or not not as it's first month off pill, don't even know how long my cycle is. Was gonna test tomorrow but nervous to, I'm not sure if it's easier not knowing right now and see what happens. I think af arriving would be easier than bfn as I would know that's definitely it for this month.

I'm out until next month ladies. Af arrived yesterday but tbh pleased that it came back so quickly as its first month off pill I know it can take ages for some women, so feeling happy in a different kind of way . Fingers crossed cycle 2 is a good'un!

Lux your resolve is admirable! You must test tomorrow! I guess it's unlikely to conceive first month off pill (is it?!). But not impossible - pee on that stick and keep us posted!

Anyone else testing this weekend? I still have another test in the pack and will try to hold out till sun/mon. But, lets be honest, that's unlikely!!

I will be POAS in the morning - just like I have done for the previous 4 days

My period is due this weekend so I'm going to keep POAS until either it arrives or I get a BFP

Woke up super early for first morning pee and just stuck a stick in it. Sleepily checked said stick 3 mins later - oh bloody hell, it's a BFP! 1-2 weeks. I just can't believe it!

Thanks writer - cant quite believe it! You're still in the game. What test are you using? I got BFP on clear blue digital. Did a Tesco digital with next pee and got BFN. Hoping the first one is the accurate one?. Will be buying some more today, that's for sure!

Weird thing is that I don't feel any different at all. No sore boobs, tiredness, thirstiness. Nowt. Really hope it's not too good to be true...

I just don't know what to think - the tests I'm using are cheap, flimsy pieces of card and crap, haha - I'm going to buy some better ones today, proper plastic ones with windows and everything

My period is due tomorrow-ish so if I haven't got a BFP by now then I don't see how I ever will seeing as you are supposed to be able to get results up to 4 days prior to AF.

I don't know why I keep tormenting myself by testing

Writer - is it your first month? If so please don't torment yourself so much so early on. I just had my first month off the pill and tbh delighted that my period returned so quickly as I know I'm "working". So if your Af does arrive see it as a good thing

Yeaaaaah, definitely! Lovely news, pleased for you! You can't get a false positive, so the other test is prob less sensitive. Congrats! I'm sure the symptoms will kick in soon.

I'm really glad I didn't test, af arrived bang on time 28 days after my withdrawal bleed from last pill, so glad I didn't put myself through that rollercoaster as it was unlikely to happen straight off the pill. Glad things seem to be in order here and body is doing what it should. Bring on August!

Writer- step away from the tests and give yourself a break if it's stressing you out, if not pee away and I hope you get your results!

It is kind of our 2nd month. I had my Mirena removed at the end of May and when my first 'real' period arrived in June I was so happy as it meant, like you said, my body was working normally and so we could start TTC.

I just want it so desperately. The last 18 months of my life has been really tough due to health problems I've had with my heart and my epilepsy and all I was waiting for was for my conditions to stabilise so my Doctors would say I'm well enough to have a baby. When I got that 'go ahead' I actually cried And so now the time is here I just can't bear the thought of it not happening for me. One of my best friends gave birth 2 weeks ago and my other best friend just had her 20week scan - I am happy for them but I feel jealous deep down too.

and Luxlisbon - you are right, I need to step away from the tests. I have thrown my remaining ones away and I'm not going to buy anymore either. If AF arrives this weekend then such is life and I will just start again afterwards.

Aw writer that seems like a nice healthy attitude, and you know what they say- 'healthy mind, healthy uterus'... they do say that right? Either way you've done all you can so all the peeing won't change the end result, I hope it's a positive on for you when you do test, fingers crossed x

The first day of my last period was 4 July and my next period is due on 1st August so I guess I'm in my 2ww. I must confessed I have already worked out the due date of my little bundle (that's if I am pregnant) 10 April 2014 Does anyone do this. xx

Sorry to hear you've had a difficult time writer. I really hope it happens for you soon. Def get a more sensitive test. It's rare to get a positive early, especially on a cheap test. I have two pregnant friends that both got BFN on the day AF was due and only got their BFP days later.

If not this month, it's still early days. Keeping fingers crossed for you.

I've bought another CB twin pack today so I can double check tomorrow!

And yes, internationally. I only got my BFP a few hrs ago and have already worked out what would be due date

Writer - If its just second month off mirena, don't be convinced that af will definitely arrive this weekend. Many people have very haphazard cycles for months after hormonal contraception. Sending you luck though

I've just had two faint BFP lines on two separate brands of pregnancy tests!!!

I'm not relying on just yet - but it has still made me a little bit excited!!!!

I've just been to ASDA and bought another two (better quality) tests, one of which is a Clear Blue and they both showed BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
