Anyone care to join me for this interminable length of waiting time?! I'm only 1 dpo! Brew

Ugh - still no AF yet, but temps dropped to near my baseline. Get on with it body, this woman's ready for the next cycle!

Tea1Sugar · 15/07/2013 18:05

Love all the teas on this thread. We're uber cool Grin

Hello ladies!
Thanks for the reply, I thought it could be a later ovulation or early implantation, so hard to know! I'll update this month's activity with more details... then if I get a BFP it might be useful to another dodgy-cycle-symptom-spotter!
Cd 1-5 AF

cd 6,9,12,13,14 + 17,18 DTD

cd 19, 20, 21 Away on business, but got mild AF cramps in the night on 20 and 21.

cd 22 DTD and started getting mild achey boobs, like AF due but not as sore, v.mild.
cd 23 boobs still tiniest bit tender when I move them about. Did a OPK and it had NOTHING on it, no suggestion of a surge.
cd 24 DTD and sore boobs still!

The only other info might be a bit tmi. Due to DTD'ing a lot, and using conceive plus I got a wee bit of thrush, which I think made me miss the EWCM. There was a point in the shower I had a clean and thought... ehhh? What is this?! It was a weird mix of EWCM and the thrush-esque CM... was a weird combo and I do remember thinking it was like a horrid combo of both. DTD regardless... had to keep going! (Grim). That was cd14 I think. I have had no sign of EWCM since.

Good luck ladies! I'll be testing with internet cheapies when they arrive on Friday!

Tea1Sugar · 15/07/2013 18:58

Blimey dp would ache if we dtd that much! We only managed cd 6,7,9,11,12 with the positive opk day 12 too. Today is cd22. I have one aching boob, threw up nothing but burning acid this morning it scared me tbh and lost my appetite. Doubtful but will poas on Thursday Smile

Ooh Tea1, unless you have a history of randomly retching that wounds pretty good! I've been hoping for the tiniest bit of nausea as a sign, knowing full well the minute I get it I'll regret that wish... fingers crossed.

KittyCatKittyCat · 15/07/2013 19:04

sounds! Not wounds! Oh god I teach English!

Tea1Sugar · 15/07/2013 19:07

Ha! I'm a teacher too, year 5. Roll on next wednesday!

KittyCatKittyCat · 15/07/2013 19:21

Agreed! Can't wait for the summer, if I am pg, then I can get through initial few weeks without beady eyes in the staff room and playground. IF. That's a big if. Boobs are still bloody sore as if I'm about to get AF, but it's waaaaaay too early for that, and I've never had boob-ish ov symptoms before (never really get ov syptoms, but never bothered looking before!). Have had occasional twinge on right side in that area, thought a little blast-thing might be burrowing in. BURROW!

Tea1Sugar · 15/07/2013 19:26

We've had 5 go on maternity leave in the space of 4 months. Really makes me green eyed tbh. Nah I've never had ovulation pains/symptoms before or ever taken notice of my cm Blush. Dd was conceived on the pill and I remained symptomless for 7 weeks!

Evening all. Happy St Swithin's Day (40 days of sunshine ahead - hurrah!). How's the 2ww progressing for everyone? Slowwwwwwly?

AF due for me on Monday (22nd) but doubt I'll make it that long! No symptoms at all here though, so I'm not holding out much hope...

Luxlisbon82 · 15/07/2013 22:49

Wow kittycat, I admire your dedication, hope you are rewarded for it!

I'm due af on Friday so just assumed I would test if I'm late, are tests really going to pick up anything before? I'm a bit out of touch as dc' s are 9 and 11 and pg testing in my twenties meant waiting till you were late?!

Writerwannabe83 · 16/07/2013 07:55

Currently on CD 25 and my period is due on Sunday which I'm pretty sure will arrive.

I'm not having any early pregnancy signs - no implantation bleed, no sore boobs, no sickness etc etc. In fact, I don't feel any different to how I normally feel.

Sad Quite disheartening really.....

Tea1Sugar · 16/07/2013 17:08

Think I'm about for July. Poas today 10dpo and bfn. I'll test again on thurs if no Af but had cramps today so doubtful

OP posts:
Writerwannabe83 · 16/07/2013 17:23

I just POAS - I have no idea, maybe because it was sitting there in my bathroom, looking at me.

I'm 8dpo and BFN.

So I'm not feeling very hopeful either :( x

Luxlisbon82 · 16/07/2013 17:54

Ah guys, most of tests are rubbish at picking up early and 8/10 dpo is still early, some people don't even implant till 12 dpo therefore you wouldn't have any symptoms or release hcg for a few days yet and even then it would be low levels and poss not even pick up then!

I've had friends who have had to wait a week or 2 after af to get a positive, so don't get downhearted, you're still in with a chance- good luck.

Tea1Sugar · 16/07/2013 18:06

Thanks Smile iirc with dd who was conceived on the pill, I only got a bfp 5 days after my pill withdrawal bleed was due and I had loadsss of Af-like cramps in the lead-up!

OP posts:
TeaAndANatter · 16/07/2013 18:35

I'm over and out for July guys. temps dropped from Friday ish, and the witch got me today, hours after POAES (peeing on an Expensive stick!). It was 5.5 weeks since mc, and 16 days after ov, so I though it was hopeful (despite the lowered temps), but it was not to be! See some of you on similar threads next month ;-)

Luxlisbon82 · 16/07/2013 18:38

The af cramps were so bad with my first they ruined an amazing holiday in Barbados, I spent the whole time terrified I was going to come on in a bikini & as I wasn't ttc it took me ages to clock on and do a test weeks later. Oh for the days of ignorance and just discovering you are pg without all the stress and wondering!

Luxlisbon82 · 16/07/2013 18:40

So sorry teaandanatter, hope you are feeling ok and looking forward to next month x

Definitelysometime · 16/07/2013 19:13

Sorry to hear that teaandanatter. May August be your month. Nice chilled glass of Rose for you tonight!

Just how early can you test with a glimmer of hope that it's correct? 2 days prior to due AF? 3? None?

writer maybe you need to test early morning for a more accurate result? Not outta the game yet!

Luxlisbon82 · 16/07/2013 19:40

Well the window for implantation is big, between 6 & 12 dpo so if you ov'd really early, had a long luteal phase and a v quick implantation there are chances you would get a positive before af, as some women do. This is so much rarer than the more common positive positive only after af is due.

the problem with testing early is you can never count on it as correct if it's a negative and you will have to test again and again as it is not definitive.

This would wind me up into a poas frenzy so I'm keeping well away till af is due, but I totally understand the need to, especially if your body is giving you signs.

Thanks luxlisbon, really helpful. No symptoms at all for me, so I should definitely definitely wait. Am just getting carried away with hope!

Writerwannabe83 · 16/07/2013 23:00

Definitely Someone:

Thanks for the advice - I'm just scared I'm going to get addicted.

I think the test I bought today was faulty though as even after about 2 minutes of peeing nothing happened on the stick - even the control window stayed blank. I had to shake it a little and turn it upside down to get things moving, lol. The Control window then worked but it was a big blank in the Test Window. It was horrible to see actually. Sad
