Elr, pms and early pregnancy symptoms are so similar, it's too hard to tell a lot of the time (this wisdom gleaned from google last night, haha), symptom spotting is the worst kind of hope, as you could just be hyper sensitive to your pms symptoms and thinking they're pg symptoms.

ELR · 24/08/2013 09:59

I know wispa worst thing is I have my dairy from dd1 who is 10 and its almost identical symptoms so its even worse at getting my hopes up!

ELR · 24/08/2013 10:01

Sorry diary!

GnomieGrace · 24/08/2013 10:08

Congrats Longtail! I am now progressing from spotting to a really light period, I'm not due for another 9 days but am bloated, have a few cramps and am bleeding enough to need a tampon. Sorry if it's TMI but yesterday morning it was really watery and then turned brownish. My nipples have been really sensitive for the past two days and I've had heartburn with every meal. Symptom spotting like crazy!!! Oh well only 5/6 days to wait now!

VJONES1985 · 24/08/2013 10:43

I'm only 4/5 dpo and I wish it would hurry up! Got a raised temperature today and feeling sick but it's too early for symptoms so don't know what it could be. Driving me mad!

LongTailedTit · 24/08/2013 11:31

Thanks m'dears! :)

I did another test at 11o'c just cos I do like to be belt and braces about things - the Superdrug cheapy (£3.99 for 2) came back with a much much stronger line, proper dark pink. That's only three hours between pees, and I'd only had two sips of tea and porridge, so basically the same bladder contents.
I had read on here that Superdrug ones were more sensitive - I'd def recommend them. The Boots one was a v v faint line, ie you couldn't see it from a distance, only when holding it.

Refoca · 24/08/2013 14:37

Congratulations Longtail :-)

But quesy over here, still just blaming the rotten cold I've had...

VJONES1985 · 24/08/2013 15:25

Lucy - how many dpo are you? Implantation bleeding happens (if at all) around 9 dpo.

layla1976 · 24/08/2013 15:30

layla1976 · 24/08/2013 15:37

p.s i've been pregnant 5 times..lost them all but had no spotting at all... or any syptoms to report til about 6-7 weeks so everyone is different...so dont panic if you dont have any syptoms , but if you do...then great ...thats REALLY POSITIVE!!!!!....goodluck xxxx

layla1976 · 24/08/2013 15:39

internationallove this is for you Wine

internationallove985 · 24/08/2013 15:45

Aww thanks Layla. xxx
On a serious note though so saddened to hear about your losses. I was devestated after one loss. I can't imagine how much pain you must feel in your heart after 5 losses. Of course all women should be given the wonder gift of becoming a mummy and having someone to love and care for but you especially deserve it. xxxx

VJONES1985 · 24/08/2013 16:12

I am going to be devastated if I get a bfn but really must stop symptom spotting! Am only 5 dpo and as Layla said, many women have no symptoms at all!!

Sorry for your losses, Layla xx

wispaxmas · 24/08/2013 17:03

I would expect you wouldn't have any symptoms whatsoever until implantation, which won't happen until anywhere from 6 to 12 dpo if I remember correctly. I could be wrong, but it's makes sense to me. Until the egg gets to the uterus I wouldn't expect your body to know what's up, would it?

VJONES1985 · 24/08/2013 17:15

No, you're right, it's 9 days on average. So I guess my symptoms are linked to pill withdrawal.

Nulanoo · 24/08/2013 17:56

All this ttc malarky is confusing! I've now got ewcm again, had it last weekend too! Off to a party tonight though so not worth worrying about!

LBMarie77 · 24/08/2013 18:41

Hi all. Fingers crossed for you ladies. Hope it's ok to jump in, my AF due tomorrow but have been feeling tummy period like but also slightly sharper twitches in my belly low down for over a week. Did the business day 9 and 10 and have a 28 day cycle so I thought a bit early really in my cycle but I just feel a bit weird :-/ what do you think chances are really? Dont usually get such bad pmt symptoms, not had kids so hard to tell! x

VJONES1985 · 24/08/2013 19:39

You need to look for signs if ovulation or use ovulation prediction tests to help you work out when best to dtd.

internationallove985 · 24/08/2013 19:44

Hi LBMarie. It's lovely to have you on board. xxx

LBMarie77 · 24/08/2013 19:58

I'm pretty sure I ovulate a little later than 14 days...between week 2 and 3 I feel from body changes but it's still possible. Partner works away so only do it when we can/possible anyway. And thanks 985 x

VJONES1985 · 24/08/2013 20:26

Yeah, always best to use your body as guidance. For example, I ov this month on cd18/19 so I wasn't 'average' either :)
