...then come and get your flipping baby here. We are a group of utterly priceless loons who are deadly serious about buying our babies at the highest price (or free if you're a lucky NHS bastard). There are no failures here

I'm sorry to hear that expat.

We are very lucky here, the NHS has funded everything. We get 3 fresh and 3 frozen cycles. We were to,d by the urologist that retrieved sperm has no leer chance of fertilising following ICSI. I'm clinging to that anyway.

It knocked DH for six, it massively affected his self esteem. I started stimming 6 days ago after down regging for 3.5 weeks

MotorcycleMama · 25/06/2013 08:39

Still waiting.. Got to go into work by 8.45. Don't know whether to phone them or whether that would be counterproductive.

MotorcycleMama · 25/06/2013 08:45

4 fertilised. That's 80% fertilisation rate which I think is good. Obviously they will reduce as time passes, but it's a good start.
Good luck to all today. X

That's great news Motor!

Wow, that sounds impressive Expat! We saw one of his colleagues at UCLH for the initial diagnosis, but we were transferred back to Essex for all of our treatment.

NookNook · 25/06/2013 08:52

Motor that's amazing news!!!

resipsa · 25/06/2013 09:02

Motor that's great. It's a relief to get the call, isn't it?

twinklestar2 · 25/06/2013 09:10

Fab news motor!

mejust · 25/06/2013 09:11

good news motor 4 out 5 great, are you going to blast or 3 day transfer or unsure yet?.
im still waiting on the call been up early in pain.

MotorcycleMama · 25/06/2013 09:15

Hi mejust I'm just going to have to take it one day at a time, and make decisions based on how things are progressing. Obviously it would be good to get to blast, but I don't think the embryo numbers will be enough to risk that, so next best would be a 3 day transfer, but I'll settle for anything!
I'm not surprised you are sore today. I hope you are not working and can take it easy. What's on your agenda today?

Fabuluce · 25/06/2013 09:20

Yay for motor!!GrinGrinGrinGrin

eurozammo · 25/06/2013 09:26

That's great news motor!

Sorry about the pain mejust. Mine had eased a bit by the day after EC but I was still quite uncomfortable. I found myself walking like a penguin - I think I was trying to avoid any twisting! I also left work early yesterday as I was just feeling a bit "odd". I feel fine and dandy today though, after a good night's sleep. :) What pain is it that you have?

Good luck wish!

Expat no call for us today - we just have to hope the petri dish isn't forlornly empty when we rock up at the clinic. I'm leaving in about an hour.

Pukey, eh joos?

I am in awe of your antics. We ran out of energy for anything adventurous after about 6 months of ttc.

tame the last thing I felt during my mc was randy. Isn't there also an infection risk while you are bleeding? It didn't matter for us. Neither of us felt like it for a good while.

Fish and maybe give your ovaries a congratulatory pat for all their hard work.

karbea not long to go until test day now.

nobeer · 25/06/2013 09:34

Juicy I did warn you! Fabuluce I'm ok thanks. The after effects can be long lasting/permanent. I consider myself to be very fortunate that I just have dry eyes and a couple of scars on my arms. Oh, and the dry vagina Angry which has made it hard/impossible to conceive naturally.
They think it's most likely that I got it from taking an anti epilepsy medication, which ironically I changed to because it was supposedly safe to take in pregnancy. I couldn't get tests done to see if it really was that which caused it because they couldn't risk me getting SJS again. I now have a phobia of taking new medication. I'm taking a high dose of folic acid to counteract the risks AEDs can cause in the potential foetus.

mejust · 25/06/2013 09:53

oh im really worried and little upset only 4 fertilized eggs i ahd 7 eggs plus 2 they were unsure about,i may have transfer tomorrow depending on grade and they may only put one back but id like more put back if transfer that early.

eurozammo · 25/06/2013 09:54

I've just googled SJS. Blimey, that is pretty nasty! I'm glad you are ok now.

mejust · 25/06/2013 09:58

hi euro iv had sharp stabbing pains and uncomfortable hurts to go loo(wee).

motor im just pottering at home at mo,embo said they expect 1 out of 5 eggs to make blast so prob will be transfer tomorrowSad

eurozammo · 25/06/2013 10:01

mejust IOTO, remember?

How are you feeling now?

MotorcycleMama · 25/06/2013 10:16

Hi mejust I got 4 fertilised too, but that is not bad. Have faith. X

mejust · 25/06/2013 10:38

what does ioto mean? yeah i know but a transfer tomorrow would be 2 day transfer which is worrying as they said 5 day blast would be sat transfer

mejust · 25/06/2013 10:40

do you think hey will let me have 2 as they just told me if quality ok they only do 1

NookNook · 25/06/2013 10:41

Big hugs Mejust I know how you feel - as you know from my panic yesterday! It really does only take one asEuro said. Keep your chin up my lovely. X

NookNook · 25/06/2013 10:42

I think it's up to you whether you put one or two back.
