I'm desperate to test! But really trying to hold off until Saturday when I'm due on.

I would hate for it to be negative now but still holdin out hope that it was just too early to tell and then having to wait a few more days.

What would you do?! I'm on the verge of running out the the chemist now!

Ah congrats!!! Yah!! Well done!! Enjoy it!

5 days early defo means you're not out!! I'm the same this month convinced!! Fingers crossed!! Not gonna test til fri now, 3 days b4 af due.

For what it's worth I really recommend not testing until AF is late. It's such a waste of money throwing away all those negative tests and I'm sure manufacturers have put them on the market to capitalise on our weak will during the 2ww. Don't let them get away with it!

I completely agree with you romann. It's a complete waste of time etc. however I just can't help myself :(

Oh i Know... Feeling like such an idiot right now. I studied marketing! Ha. Just really really hate waiting, and am on my own with DS1 all day, just can't stop thinking about it!!

Bleeding gums are a sign of pg, right?

I think the being on our own with #1 really doesn't help to take your mind off it!!

And I've been very naughty just been and bought 4 super drug early tests as I know I will cave and do a test before Friday!!! Nightmare!! And not sure about gums! Probably!!

Awh no Bambi27. When is AF due?

I am 11dpo today. LAst time I was ttc I would have tested from 9dpo but haven't tested yet. I think I am just trying to avoid being a POAS addict this time, plus I can't bear the disappointment of seeing a bfn, for some reason I find it easier when AF just arrives.

gatsby79 any update? Are you still getting bfp's? x

sleepcrisis have you tested since? I think we are all on the same cycle days Smile

Still testing positive 15 days after Ovidrel shot. Still a maybe. I'm going nuts waiting until Monday when I'll know for sure!

Well... there is a ver¥, very faint line. I would never even have seen it if it wasn't for comparing it to tuesday's test!

So does that count?!

argh now I'm even more unsure than I was before!!!

It is First response early test.

But I'm really squinting to see this. I guarantee that when I show DH he'll say 'what line'

Maybe I should go out and get another one to be sure?! Digital?

we don't have a superdrug unfortunately...

Best thing to do would be not to drink anything for the next few hours and don't wee (sorry if TMI) so that your urine this evening would be equivalent to first morning urine sample and hcg would be easier to detect - test again then.

I've never seen any hint of a line on a FR that wasn't a bfp - always stark white background Smile

sleepcrisis · 20/06/2013 13:06

So are FR the best ones? Should I buy the same? Or a selection?!

I think they are the most sensitive but open to correction on that.

Does anyone have the first response? I am curious how sensitive they are as well, I can't find a definite answer online, but it should be on the box/in the manual. The most sensitive ones I have found are superdrug ones and online ones at 10 miu/L and I don't think the first response is any more sensitive than that, but I might be wrong.

Sleep crisis, they say any line is a real line no matter how faint. Obviously apart from my weird Ovidrel situation! Test again tonight without peeing for 3 hours or wait until morning but it looks good!

Report
Bambi27 · 20/06/2013 17:49

I'm not due until Monday but on the first response box says test up to 6 days (5 before actual period day) so that would be Wednesday so thought it would have defo shown today really so not holding much hope!! Xx

Well yes... But I showed up negative 5 days before, then this very faint line today ( 3 days before). Having said that, DH say he can't see it and that I'm mental. I must admit I'm beginning to think myself that I'm imagining it! Even I can only see it while holding it at funny angles towards the window!

Oh really sleep crisis that gives me a bit of hope!! Honestly my body is just being mean! I had decided that that's it I'd given up this month so it has now done exactly what it did before I found out with my first, extremely bloated and some spotting :( honestly ttc is such a mind spin!! Can u put a pic on so we can see if there's a line! I'm sure you're not going insane as you haven't seen one other days!!!

Report
sleepcrisis · 20/06/2013 19:15

I have tried to take a pic but it won't show up on the photo! That's how faint it is. Will try again later.

And actually I would be too embarrassed to show anyone in real life because it really looks like I'm clutching at straws!

I can't wait until the morning when I can test again...

I feel like you Bambi - convinced because I feel just like I did last pregnancy. I am hoping to prove DH wrong!
