Great news for everyone with BFPs [smile sorry to anyone with a very unwanted AF - rubbish.
I say poas from 10dpo as not much to lose - apart from cost of pee stick. If it's BFN then it's only telling you there's not enough Hcg in your wee yet. Doesn't definitely mean you're not pg. Only AF or a BFP is a definite result. I've never had a BFP before 14dpo so won't be poas until Mon but I usually have 10day luteal phase so AF due Thurs / Fri. If she's late I'll be really hoping for a BFP on Mon. Fingers crossed for lots more BFPs for this bus. It's exciting/scary to be getting nearer the top of the list!

Stuff it I'm gona start testing 2moro, I can't b upset if I don't get a bfp this month anyway as its only cycle 1 of TTC. The way my boys r behaving 2nite there's a slight chance my oh might change his mind altogether! New hi-fi arrived 2day, massive speakers and the lo's have got balls stuck in them already, lol. I did warn him

Well took the digi and it says 3+ weeks. So now really unsure which month I actually conceived. Rang docs today but they said I have to contact midwives directly. Only got their voicemail so will have to wait and see what happens next.

Those asking of pregnancy symptoms- my only symptoms have been a bit restless sleep/waking early and tender boobs but not unbearable as some others have described and no nipple pain.

Oh and someone on here said their wee smells different. I have that too but can't really describe it just noticeably different!

tinkerbelle hopefully you'll get a dating scan soonish to get a better idea.

Really hope so alicebear just unsure what they will think as to when to give me a dating scan. In someways hoping it was previous month so already further along as dh is literally going to burst soon as desperate to tell people. The receptionists at my docs gave me a pregnancy care pack today which had forms I have to complete and hand in to midwife before booking in appointment and one of the questions is when was my last period. Just so unsure what to put.

tinkerbelle I'd go for your earlier date - you'll get a scan sooner & if it's too early because it was this month you'll just have to have an extra scan a few wks later. Or could you go for a private dating scan? If you conceived this cycle you wouldn't expect 3+ would you? More like 2-3 & that only if you ov'd early? Any idea when that happened?

Understand you would love to be a month on. God I'd be over the moon to jump to 8 / 12 wks or more! Just need a BFP to get me started first. Keep us posted & gd luck.

my bleeding is almost stopped, just light spotting now ( sorry for TMI) but I am really hoping it is IB, as if it was my regular AF visit , the flow would be very very heavy.

I am going to see my GP tomorrow anyway for a different matter, so will mention it to him anyway, see what he says. A friend of mine suggested to do the test in the morning, as to have something to tell GP, but I doubt it will come back positive, as from what I've read, tests usually do not come back positive during IB.

anyone else tested during IB in the previous pregnancies and got pos/neg?

Tinks maybe that light bleed you had a few weeks ago was implantation and your cycles were not quite where you thought they were?

Thanks for advice alicebear and gilly. The more I think about it the more I think it might have been last month. The brown stuff occurred around Af due and lasted 5days but was small amount without real blood. Because of timing and length thought must be period and too late for implantation. Took a test during the week and a few days after it stopped but bfn's. told myself to stop testing then as was getting worked up as funny period convinced me something was going on. So wish I carried on testing now so I would know for sure. I think you're right though that test would most likely say 2-3weeks if conceived this month.

Sorry to hear that SomeDay I have a distinct feeling I'll be seeing you on the July bus too. I always start spotting anything from a week before AF due and cramping starts just before that. Tell tale cramping has started. Holding out minor hope that it's pregnancy related but not feeling too optimistic.

Congrats to all those with BFPs though on a happier note!

Quick question before i depart the bus forever...

When temping, where do i take my temperature?! I have a thermometer that i use on ds under his armpit (but its not a specific kids one or anything) can i just dothe same type of thing? Or do i need to get an oral one or something?

evening ladies! the only time of the day when I get a chance to do some cheeky mumsnetting (when oh is asleep...could this explain the lack of bfp to date lol). So it's looking like standing room only aboard the bus (gives up seat for pregnant ladies ). sunshine and londa on the subject of IB or AF I was 2 days late at 16dpo period was light and brown and 2.5 days I.e.not normal. I got bfn on 16 dpo but had been wondering / googling same 're whether poss IB. londa did u get a bfn this late then af? Not going to poas though cos deep down I don't think can be bfp and am going to stay in blissful denial daydreaming out bus window! good luck sunshine and everyone else xxx

Congratulations to everyone with BFPs! I feel like I can't keep up with this thread...will obviously have to spend more time here .

Not sure what's going on with me - AF not due for another week and I'm approx 6dpo but have started getting some quite strong cramps and keep feeling like AF is on its way. Have got my fingers crossed that it's pregnancy related rather than a weirdly early period...

I think DP is mightily sick of my little monologue, which has been going on most of the evening: "so, do you think i'm going to get my period...or maybe it's implantation? But they do feel like period cramps...but it's waaaaay early...so why would that be, do you think?"
