Snap Ninunina I'm 7-8 dpo too. I know its v unlikely I'll be pg this month but the closer it gets to bfp/AF time the more the imaginary symptoms are kicking in. Found myself googling 'are sore teeth a sign of pregnancy' yesterday. Am sure its nothing to with the two ice lollies I had Grin

Sorry to hear some of you are feeling down. Although I'm v early days in ttc and still pretty upbeat, I do know what you mean about feeling that you can do everything right and still have no real control. As others have said above, its not over til AF arrives, I've read plenty of accounts from ppl on here of getting late bfps so please don't give up hope just yet x

LauraSmurf · 04/06/2013 14:15

I'm so sorry some of you are feeling down. That's the worst, most tiring part of ttc in my mind. The constant ups and downs, hopeful to disappointment again and again.

I have nothing to say that makes it better, simply and understanding ear and a hopeful heart for us all.

Pixie - I know it's frustrating when DP isn't 'up' to the job and so there is another option if you and he are up for it! Use a syringe (I use a preseed applicator) and get him to 'manually' provide a sample. It sounds shocking and extreme, but someone else on here gave me the advice when we were 1 1/2 years into ttc my first. My DP took a little convincing but actually he loves it now. He feels the pressure to perform is off a bit. Our sex life is much better this time round ttc, because we know we have another option. It's not for everyone, but it works for us!

I am currently about 10 dpo. Not exactly sure as i didn't temp this month. My AF is due on fri/sat. I am feeling less manic than the last 2 months were at this point. Not sure if that's a positive sign or not though.

I hope you are all out enjoying the sunshine, hopefully the vitamin D also brings some baby dust!

I noticed that breathlessness is a sign of early pregnancy too, I may be breathless but the only baby I have is the pasta I had for lunch, oof.

SunshinedreamIng · 04/06/2013 14:59

AF just came Sad
just had big bust up with DH, not sure we will be DTD anytime soon as ever really

Pixie001 · 04/06/2013 15:16

Oh sunshine, sorry to hear your news. Sounds like tough times. Is your bustup sommit you're gonna be able to work through?
smurf thanks for the top tip! I've often joked with dh bout artificial insemination! Does sperm live outside the body then? I guess so if you do sperm samples and stuff. Any ideas how long it lasts?

SunshinedreamIng · 04/06/2013 15:21

thankx pixie, I don't think so. I was quite stupid brave TTC with him, he has a terrible temper.
Now I am thinking, maybe its for the best, the AF visit, shame though as I would really love another little one, but here it is, life I guess

lindamagoo · 04/06/2013 15:22

Smurf and pixie, we do the syringe thing aswell, after almost a year TTC ds #2 we tried it and it defo takes the pressure off of him, will b doing it this time also along with the conceive plus Grin

DisneyDiva87 · 04/06/2013 15:31

I've never heard of people using a syringe before? Has it been successful for anyone?

Suddenly taken a bruised sort of feeling in my lower abdomen, I wonder is this what a normal AF feels like or if it's AF at all?

DisneyDiva87 · 04/06/2013 15:38

I actually have a sieve for a brain and am too easily distracted. I also meant to say:

Sorry to hear that sunshine but as you say maybe it was for the best. You never know how things might work out though. Would you like to share some of my favourite crisps?

CaptainCalamari · 04/06/2013 15:47

I'm out, AF came right on time! Always seem to get worse period pains when TTC, just to rub salt into the wound! No surprise for me this month though as really wasn't feeling it (plus the BFNs everyday since 8dpo were a clue!) so not too down.
Good luck to all of you still in the running! :D

Couldn't say for sure if the syringe worked for us or not but we started using it after 10 months of TTC and we got pregnant within 2 months Grin

DisneyDiva87 · 04/06/2013 16:34

It's like I've been holding on to my pee for way to long and it's getting painful plus a bit bloated. If I suck in my stomach it becomes a very sharp pain. I sometimes get something similar after DTD which Dr put down to my bladder getting a beating all tests came back clear and it doesn't hurt to actually pee so I'm not too worried. Don't remember having it for this long though.

I think the nipple thing is a pg symptom (but then what isn't) I had really sensitive nipples the other morning but only for a bit.

-I will not get my hopes up, I WILL NOT get my hopes up...-

DisneyDiva87 · 04/06/2013 16:56

I'm smad that you'r pg tests showed up today and mine didn't Linda

That does seem a bit ridiculous Champagne google really is a TTCer's worst nightmare.

SunshinedreamIng · 04/06/2013 17:20

Thank you for the crisps disney they were delicious, cheered me up a bit.
I was so positive about my boobs being sore and tender for a week now, as I never ever get this kind of pain or any pain at all before AF, I thought: yes, definitely, it's me being preggers, and no AF arrived this afternoon, so you never know about the boobs symptom champagne.

But then again AF was due to come on thursday and came today , literally, 15 minutes after extremely stressful argument with DH. I did google and it does say that extreme stress can cause MC in very early pregnancy, because that what it feels like and looks like(don't want to go in TMI)

So fingers crossed champagne and the rest of the lovely ladies on the bus.
Sorry to hear about the news london

DisneyDiva87 · 04/06/2013 17:28

Have a hug sunshine think of it as just a late AF though, don't be upsetting yourself more than necessary. Put your feet up and have lots some Wine
