I'm not really here; I've still got loads of work to do. Why do I leave it until last minute?!

BoodleBonnetParade · 24/03/2013 21:42

Frogcatcher, surely there's an Easter Egg Hunting joke to be made somewhere in there?

EasterBunnyGirlie · 24/03/2013 21:46

Nice name boo anybody else changing name for Easter :-)

Tallyra · 24/03/2013 22:02

no name change here. I'm boring and I like it.
feeling very chuffed tonight.
Fancy pants here made cupcakes with carob icing just for kicks today (dh can't eat chocolate). Yummy!

EasterBunnyGirlie · 24/03/2013 22:25

Ooooooh lovely, I made macaroons today Smile

Pipbin · 24/03/2013 23:46

Can't eat chocolate? What kind of a horrid ordeal that must be!

Tallyra · 25/03/2013 00:00

yes. especially if it is eaten by accident (very unpleasant stuff happens...), which is highly possible if not careful - do you know how much stuff has chocolate on it in it???
We a are both lactose intolerant anyway, so that makes it a little easier but blooming frustrating!

EasterBunnyGirlie · 25/03/2013 08:18

Morning all! Tired and grumpy bunny here today, got woken up at 4am by a random noise and still feeling fed up about AF!

I need a time machine, want to fast forward to beginning of May so can start again (yes I know you think I'm nuts for taking a month off) and a week in Spain yay!

BookTart · 25/03/2013 08:22

Morning bunny! I am standing at a very cold bus stop, so the thought of a week in Spain is making me very jealous indeed. Work today. Urgh. Hope everyone has a snow-free day :)

Frogcatcher · 25/03/2013 11:22

Snow free on the south coast. Lots of people at work going to warm places over Easter so v jealous. DP is working Fri, Sat & Sun which is rubbish.

Managed to drop my thermometer this morning & lost it under the bed so no temp & didn't have time to PIMP so am totally out of control of my fertility as the phrase goes. I do, however, get a sharp pain on my lower left side when I cough so I obviously have some kind of significant pg symptom pulled a muscle at the gym yesterday.

SidneyBristow · 25/03/2013 11:36

Morning berries. No snow here either but it's still hella cold and I'm bored of it. Last summer's little heatwave seems a million years ago!

Something weird though - CBFM gave me 'peak' readings on Fri, Sat & Sun; today is just 'high'. Since CD10 I've been POAS for CBFM in the morning, and PIMPing at night with an IC. Today's CD15. I've yet to get a positive OPK reading on any of the internet cheapies I've used. What gives? The ultrasound on Sat clearly showed two huge, ready-to-go follicles. Why would the CBFM give different results than an IC?

Yesterday felt crampy on my left side. Haven't paid much attn to whether I've had any EWCM, bc I've been using pre-seed and figured it might get mistaken for the real thing. (side note: have been using 2g rather than the recommended 4 & have noticed a lot less spillage than normal...if it keeps DH's contributions (ahem) in the right area then it's worth the expense/hassle IMO)

Also, does anyone wait for their wee to cool to room temp in their pot before using an OPK?

Thinking of you today cherry Thanks

Tallyra · 25/03/2013 11:53

Morning! Yes, very cold here on the SE coast but that's about it. My temp has been steadily rising for the last couple of days but went dramatically down today - not quite up to where I thought ov would be, so I'm a little confused as FF hasn't told me it thinks I'm going to ov soon - was expecting it to start to happen in about 3 days. No cm at the moment, thinking my temps are just misread as I'm always stupidly sleepy when I take them.
Sorry sid, I have no idea what anything means temp and IC wise either, it's all very new to me.
Frog I've only just started to look at what my body is actually doing, and I am now completely bewildered at how I coped with not really knowing much about it before!!

Hugs cherry xxxxxxx

Thundercatsarego · 25/03/2013 15:30

Hi everyone, hope you all had a good weekend. Sorry to those feeling Sad at the mo.

boodle - you there? Have just spoken to my doc re thyroid issues. She has agreed we're aiming for tsh of below 2, and has also been bullied into agreed to me having tests every 4 weeks instead of every 8. Am pleased with that!

Hey bunny I'm in snow-less but bloody freezing nonetheless SW too!

Pipbin · 25/03/2013 17:48

We aren't going anywhere over Easter as we are poised to move house. I just want to get a moving date now so we can get on with it.

In other news, it's 12 DPO here and no AF, she'll be along soon though.

Thundercatsarego · 25/03/2013 18:10

When's af due, pip?

Exciting re house move!

Pipbin · 25/03/2013 18:35

She is due tomorrow or Wednesday.

CharmingCats · 25/03/2013 18:56

Hello all. Been thinking of you, cherry. How did t go? Would you consider getting your GP to sign you off work for stress for a couple of weeks to give you some space?

EasterBunnyGirlie · 25/03/2013 18:59

Evening peeps!

EasterBunnyGirlie · 25/03/2013 19:00

thunder bloody cold innit! I'm in Gloucestershire, how bout you?

cherry hope you are ok! x

BookTart · 25/03/2013 19:14

Evening all! It is sodding freezing here, but on the plus side mr tart is cooking me some dinner whilst I hog the sofa. First clinic appointment tomorrow - have been advised to have an empty bladder. This does not bode well I fear...

Thundercatsarego · 25/03/2013 19:18

Hey cats

Yeah bunny, Somerset here and brrrrrrrrrrrr! Disadvantage of having dogs rather than cats is having to go out in the cold whereas if memory serves me correctly, cats like to snuggle in the warm.

Oh yeah cherry, I read about your news on my mammoth catch up. Poor you, what a shock it must have been. Was it an appointment today?

barkingtreefrog · 25/03/2013 20:11

Hope you're ok cherry

Thundercatsarego · 25/03/2013 20:16

Hey barking, Watcha knitting?

BoodleBonnetParade · 25/03/2013 20:28

Hey lady, well done for bullying your doctor; go you! I'm going to badger the fertility doctor about my thyroid when I go for my referral. I'm hoping I can get them to say I need to be below 2 and send me back to the doctor so I can sit there and be all smug and 'I told you so'!

In Boodleland, I think Ov day is approaching as there has been a distinct shift in CM today, plus my OPK line appeared a couple of days ago and is gradually getting darker. (Usually appears and then goes positive about 4 days later.) Not that any of this matters, once Ov turns up it'll be a matter of days before the spotting fanfare begins to herald the arrival of AF. Grrrrr!

barkingtreefrog · 25/03/2013 20:39

Hey thunder, I'm knitting 4 different things at the moment, although not at the same time... Got a cardigan on the go for a friend's little boy, but got to the sleeves and got bored so started on a wolf hat, which I've finished knitting but have yet to finish the fleece lining, then I started on a dog hat, but that was too small foe the intended recipient so stopped before I knitted the ears and started knitting a chunky cabled hat for a friend's birthday, which is what I'm supposed to be finishing tonight but instead I'm online browsing for more wool for the next unfinished project!! whilst posting on her and also watching CSI
