birds I'm not sure I'm afraid I didn't start bleeding naturally even after nearly 13 weeks so had to have erpc but I think it can vary but around 2 weeks might be average. Hope it stops soon!

fod27 · 16/03/2013 14:20

Can I start trying from a faint line on the test? Or should I pleasure him first to get a fresh batch for a stronger line? Sorry tmi I know!

JanieLovesCake · 16/03/2013 14:22

yay garden yippeeee!!!! sorry i only saw your earlier post about your line! it's funny, i think i'm a little in disbelief as i sometimes forget that i got a bfp and then all of a sudden remember and have to pinch myself.

hey birds i think 2 weeks is about the average although some people bleed less or more. i hope it stops soon so that you can look ahead x

Lucky13ForBaby · 16/03/2013 15:36

Grin garden

BirdsDoIt · 16/03/2013 15:42

Thanks ladies, that's really helpful. About a week to go in that case. in the meantime I've just done a food shop and bought myself lots of forbidden-pg goodies - may as well enjoy the perks I reckon! Mmm wine and camembert x

Thunderbuns · 16/03/2013 16:08

Hi all!

pink is a frozen Kiev actually a potentially dangerous weapon? Be careful with that thing! But thanks for standing in for me buddy.

saggy. Mouthwash. Now.

fod, for me a faint line means nothing, so doesn't give an indication at all, it just suddenly goes dark. For other people it gets gradually darker til lh surge and then fainter again. Only way to know is to keep doing them at the same time each day and learn what happens. No harm in regular dtd though I reckon.

bairn yes I was thundercatsarego. I didn't hang around long there as it was just too hectic to keep up with!

fod27 · 16/03/2013 17:35

Thanks for the info thunder xxx

Sapphireday · 16/03/2013 17:52

Birds I'm with you on the frustrating wait to stop bleeding at the moment - I've had a week and a half of it so far so hopefully the end is in sight!

Mummytothearkbuilder · 16/03/2013 18:03

Hi ladies - fod I had a faint second line in the OPK on Thursday and then yesterday the second line was much darker than the control line.

Hope you are all having a good weekend - we are watching the rugby - it's nail biting!! X

Hi all, hope we're all well. Just need a rant! Spent afternoon with pregnant friend who is due to have twins 10 days after what would have been my EDD. It's only been 2 weeks & 3 days since ERPC & it's almost like my MMC never happened. Had to listen to how much she's tired, how sick she's feeling & it's twice as bad this time. Poor you I thought! Then felt like a bitch as would never want her to go through this. God I hope AF comes soon, then I can start tracking & hopefully get my BFP (or even better get my BFP BEFORE AF!!).

Rant over.

:)

Bakingtins · 16/03/2013 18:48

Ickle your friend is Bang. Out. Of. Order. Any pregnancy related moaning around someone who has recently miscarried should carry an immediate sentence of death by frozen chicken kiev. I wouldn't have been able to resist telling her to be bloody grateful and shut the F up. But then I'm an embittered old bag.

JanieLovesCake · 16/03/2013 19:18

Oh I ickle that's do bloody insensitive. I would've got up and left and bitch slapped her on the way out. I'm so sorry she made you feel like that. Definitely a case for the Kiev.

alyant79 · 16/03/2013 19:19

With you bakingtins. Some people need to learn some tact.

Also with you sapphire and birds. Stupid bleeding. Even more annoying that this is second time in 4 weeks. Feel like I've been bleeding forever :( heading overseas on Tuesday and think ill dtd Monday night regardless of bleeding status. Want to store up some sperm just in case!
You know heaps of animals can store sperm for years and use it when needed. Wish we could do that

icklemssunshine1 · 16/03/2013 19:47

Ladies you have most certainly cheered me up (that & the huge glass of Pinot in my hand)! Has anyone else found that people around you just seem to have "forgotten"? That's including family members!

Alyant I know what you mean! When I was a teenager I was so scared of getting pregnant, fearing any episode of unprotected sex would equal a pregnancy. How I wish it were that easy!!

SaggyOldClothCatpuss · 16/03/2013 21:09

Right, TMI time.
For the last couple of days I've had not spotting exactly, more either brown discharge, I'm assuming old blood, or orangey reddish new blood on 'thorough' wiping! MC was 6 weeks ago, and I e had AF since, am roughly mid cycle right now. Anyone else had random stuff like this? I know it's still early days but its bugging me.

LittleBairn · 16/03/2013 21:48

ikkle hug for you it so so temping to say something but then it's made out it we are the ones in the wrong being over sensitive.
I actually had a friend Moan about being pregnant and how she would be happy for the baby to come early, just weeks after I lost my DS which she knew about. I had to come home for. Bit of a weep, even DH didn't get how much it upset me.

As the child of teenage parents I was super cautious too to the point of 'saving' myself o was seriously worried about getting pregnant top young. The irony!
I actually feel bit embarrassed when surrounded by my family they think I've left of really late to start a family, I'm only 28!

fod I have no idea but PMSL.

I feel bad for my poor DH his one great pleasure in life is hot baths all weekend, but he's banned during the week of TTC each month. Amd he's also not taking medication that he could do with at the moment but he refuses too until we have a baby in our arms.

LittleBairn · 16/03/2013 21:51

saggy I had that a few times in the first 8 weeks after my miscarriage, I viewed it as my body taking the time to settle down.

SaggyOldClothCatpuss · 16/03/2013 22:01

That's good to know. Wish it would piss off though.

fod27 · 16/03/2013 22:06

saggy it was only the other day I was saying the exact same thing...brown discharge...not enough to need a pad, but use one anyway as it would wreck your good knickers Blush
ick it's the same here, people either want you break down emotionally or they've moved passed the "oh how awful" and "have you heard?" Stage so of course we should have! Even my mother pointed out a tiny newborn at a restaurant the other day to tell my how tiny she thought it was...along with my brother and partner...all I could think is "are you for frickin real?!" Only last week a student brought her toddler in (she's a old student and isn't aware of my circumstance) so I did the PC thing and commented on how lovely he was and cooed etc my colleague who was with me after the fact said "are you ok? Don't lie to me, you looked really uncomfortable but I thought you handled it really well"

It sucks when people so far detached from your situation have more empathy than the ones you should be able to lean and rely on

However.........we are all guna get well shagged up and preggers!!!! So it's all part of the posifrickintive journey

IBelieveInPink · 16/03/2013 22:16

Definitely remember spotting on and off after mc #. Like you say, annoying!

But.... (dare I say it) implantation bleed? You say mid cycle, how mid are we talking?

Yy to people being insensitive!!!!! Even especially the ones that know. No I don't effing want to know about your sisters husbands sisters baby and how she doesn't deserve it, but fell pregnant soooo easily. Chuff off.

BumpKitty · 16/03/2013 22:17

birds everyone is different but your dates are similar to mine. I started bleeding day before my 12 wk scan but empty sack measured about 6 weeks. I waited for a natural mc and had to get scanned every 7 to 10 days, after 4 weeks the scan was still showing it wasn't all out so I then went for medical management, this didn't work and I ended up having an ERPC. Because that had all taken so long my period came back 3 weeks after the ERPC and I got pg 2 months after that.
If the same happened again I would go for ERPC much earlier. I hope you are sorted much quicker xx

BirdsDoIt · 16/03/2013 22:19

Oh ickle and fod that kind of crappy tactlessness is so out of order! May chicken kievs (very hard frozen ones) rain down on them! How can people be so completely insensitive?? It boggles the mind. Hasn't happened to me yet because it's too recent history but I'm sure it will and I'm not looking forward to it... Can we reserve frozen kievs for offenders and fish for ourselves?

sapphire glad I have company - it's so frustrating isn't it - this reminder of what's happening when what you really want to do is move on. Plus after a couple of glasses of wine I'm rather fancying dtd but it's all just too icky to contemplate (sorry, tmi, and too much wine - tmw?) x

BirdsDoIt · 16/03/2013 22:23

bumpkitty thanks, that's good to know - will bear that in mind when talking to doctor. And yay to getting pg 2 months later...x

SaggyOldClothCatpuss · 16/03/2013 22:27

CD14 pink. No chance! Grin

shellshock7 · 16/03/2013 22:43
