Hi 'mike'!!!! If I'm honest, I've always found your posts to lighten my mood! As for the comments from other people, I think you should name and shame them! mother think you have to decide which will be worse for you, waiting and wondering til tomorrow or testing again today and whatever outcome may come. I have never heard on anybody using boots tests. I would send you a stack of my ICs as they are sooper sooper sensitive! Did you have a lot to drink before bed? (Water/liquid, not alcohol obv)

Right cycle 21 is going to be my cycle...this is the plan:

acupuncture booked today (and more depending on what I think today)
clomid 50mg today-sun
spa day inc full body massage day before ovulation
hotel room day before ovulation
DTD every other day

Soph don't worry about being obsessed. It's only because we're trying to get pregnant that people use the words like obsessed. If you're trying to achieve something it is logical and sensible to make your chances of success as high as possible, which is all you (and we) are doing.
So... are you taking pre natal vits? Have you banned OH from tight pants and laptop on his knee? Have you considered pre-seed or the like (even if secret use)....

I agree with the secret use of preseed etc.
I tend to apply in the bathroom before hand.

Taking Sanatogen conception ones, using preseed (thank the Lord) and DH often takes it upon himself to wear shorts anyway. Haven't banned the laptop yet hmm.....

But dont use as much as it says on the instructions else you will be sliding around in bed iyswim

pipkin yes, I've been applying it in secret too but he does know. Its a god send, totally takes the stress out of 'having to enjoy it', thus making it enjoyable! Only use it on shag week though, as we love sex on non-baby making weeks lol

cheers, I'm ok, I read that tests don't actually pick up higher or lower levels they just give a yes or no type answer, that is what I am clinging to at the mo.

I feel fine, bit of backache, no spotting or bleeding, cervix is still crazily high and hard so guess I just wait and see over the next few days. May get a different brand of test just to see if it makes a difference? Is that daft?

Oh mother only just read your earlier post. Hang in there and , yes get a different brand. My friend said her line was really faint for about 6 weeks (sorry that prob doesn't help, but she does have a DS now).

soph actually that helps hugely I thought faint lines were bad, but I guess a line is a line, if they stay positive (and AF stays away) through the weekend I'll start to feel better.

The tests Im using are 2 for a quid in asda so may not be the best

I believe loads of people want to keep testing at the beginning so don't feel mad! I think the darkness of the line is to do with the amount of dye in the test, which varies as far as I understand it.
Earlier this month first response were buy one get one free in superdrug, tho I have heard that Superdrug own ones are supposed to be good. Would send you my tonne of IC if it would help... if you do think you're going to be continuing testing for a bit you could stick a next day delivery order on amazon for a couple of quid for the internet cheapies. (i use these which are 10miu so super sensitive and only £4 for 25!

Merkin I've just ordered some. You know I used to think it was funny that you'd ever need more than one pregnancy test, how wrong I was!!!!
