I couldn't bring myself to call her a bitch, we still need her help! Come on ladies, let's do this thing....

The hormones are a nightmare. This time last week I couldn't stop crying but Thurs I woke up feeling "normal". I thought I was sinking into a depression but obviously it was the hormones exaggerating my grief. I obviously still feel sad (first day bk at work today & had a little) but generally I feel okay. No underlying health issues, she said wait 2 AF's for dating purposes but I really want to TTC ASAP. I don't want to replace the baby I lost but I feel there's room in my little family of 3 to make it 4, would love DD to have a little brother or sister & then I feel our family will be complete :) As I said I'm still bleeding. It'll be two weeks Weds since my ERPC - those of you who've had this how long did it take your bleeding to subside?

icklemssunshine1 · 11/03/2013 17:42

Oh & no, haven't done a pg test? Should I? Is that to check pg hormones have gone?

fod27 · 11/03/2013 17:49

ick yea I did (do a test I mean to check it was out if my system plus it helps when testing for ovulation and a new pg etc, ) I have stopped bleeding today and my ERPC was on the 28th Feb if your unsure definitely contact your GP as my nures informed me that I should bleed for 7-10 days, it will also put your mind at ease talking to a professional

Sorry for your loss, I went back to work on Friday I'm a lecturer and I've had to tell all my students....it's been horrific, but they were very sweet zxx hope your ok and looking after yourself

icklemssunshine1 · 11/03/2013 18:00

I had my ERPC on the 27th. I have some "bleed-free" days & think its passed but then, like yesterday, I had some (sorry if tmi) bright red when wiped - actually thought it might be AF but obviously too soon as today it's just spotting. Good advice for pg test, I'll go & get one (with some ovulation sticks too, here's hoping!). I'm a teacher & although I teach 11-18 I just think (with the exception of my Yr 13's) my classes haven't got the emotional maturity to empathise with what I've been through so giving out standard response "been very ill".

ChocolateCremeEggBag · 11/03/2013 18:32

Oh {insert bad word} AF has got me - DPO14/CD1 today
Nothing showing this morning so I stupidly POAS'd and got a BFN, then like the bitch she is, AF pains started up around 11am.
Have just worked out that DH will be heading off on a boys weekend on the day I ovulate Sad so going to have to hope for slow girl sperm the night before to make my Christmas bean!

Onwards and upwards.....

fod27 · 11/03/2013 18:43

Upwards being the operative word hahaa

Unfortanetly I started to show so they were all very aware ;( plus I had to leave the room constantly to vomit! They were all so excited and had even been looking at baby clothes as a present once it was born, I'm very lucky as they were a tough group but they have warmed to me alot over the year and I mother them too a extent ..... Can't help it

I hope it's stopped and it's not a stop start situation that would drive me bonkers!

Bootyboo · 11/03/2013 18:45

Hey Janie I am indeed - if I don't get AF before. I thought about doing it earlier Blush but didn't give in - I want some of the recent Friday testing BFP luck Grin bring it on!

Fod - good to hear that treatment is starting for your brother, thats a step in the right direction at least. His poor partner :(

JanieLovesCake · 11/03/2013 19:43

oh chocolate i'm so sorry AF got you :( hope you can make the most of DH before he heads off

hi ickle hope you;re doing ok under the circumstances. i had some 'gushes' after i thought the bleeding had finished but i think it completely stopped after about 2 and a half weeks ish. unfortunately there's no 'normal' but you sound like you're well on the way to a physical recovery....i still get a bit emotional and mine was in october, but i remember a day when i just pulled my socks up and started feeling positive about the road ahead. you're in good company here x

good on ya booty i have no pg tests in the house so not going to buy any until thursday night (unless AF shows up before then obv) so testing friday morning. now where's that fast forward button ffs!

Mummytothearkbuilder · 11/03/2013 20:35

Hi ladies hope you are okay today and to those who have been feeling blue I hope you start feeling better soon - big hugs to you all.

I have had a busy day so trying not to think of things however if I see one more Facebook pregnancy or baby gender announcement I think I may scream!!!!!!

I am doing opk everyday and still nothing - am hoping I get a positive opk soon (or I've missed the surge but still DTD enough - we have been doing it every other day since the bleeding stopped).

I am worried as the doctor seems to think I'm not ovulating every cycle Hmm xx

alyant79 · 11/03/2013 20:51

ickle sorry you are here.
Def do a preg test. I've just had an erpc today, 4 weeks after my medically managed miscarriage. Pg test kept coming up positive and when they did a scan last week it showed lots of crap left behind that they had to get out.
All bleeding had stopped after 2.5 weeks but there was obv still stuff there. My gut feeling is that it would have come out on its own as a super heavy period, but might have taken a few more weeks. Best to get it all out now.

On that note, thanks for all the good wishes guys. It went ok, no dramas and I'm feeling ok (but exhausted from the general). Preparing for upcoming hormone crash, but fx it'll be less than last time. Hcg levels were 450 yesterday, so there's not much to crash, right? Posifrickentivity!!!!!

Oh and fod I really really hope the docs manage to kick the arse of your brothers cancer. I've got fingers and toes crossed for him.

alyant79 · 11/03/2013 20:57

I also think the only reason they often say to wait one month (and what's with 2???) is for dating purposes. If you feel like it, do it. (Once bleeding stops)

JanieLovesCake · 11/03/2013 21:15

hey aly you sound pretty positive which is great :) glad you got through today ok xx

Mummytothearkbuilder · 11/03/2013 21:16

The doctors told us one cycle and its purely for dating purposes - they then said "however that's what we have scans for so if you are ready to for it!" We needed no further encouragement than that!! I have 2 friends who fell pregnant before their first AF and went on to have healthy pregnancies / babies xx

fod27 · 11/03/2013 21:45

Thanks for the kind words guys...he is posifrickintive too!!!

Aly I'm so glad your ok ;) it's all so daunting isn't it? But at least you now have a clean slate (no pun intended) if it went on unnoticed or left for too long you could have risked infection or worse.....make sure you have lots of goodies and naughty foods at hand (it helped me through)

So guys should I go for it? Or wait? I'm getting über excited now thinkin about it!!!! Babies babies babies!!!

fod27 · 11/03/2013 21:48

mummy I felt exactly the same! Stooooopid Facebook! Do you know how to remove them from your feed? They still remain your friend and they can see your posts but you don't have to see there's..... It's great the only ones left on mine now are family, friends with teenagers or menopausel women .....brilliant!

fod27 · 11/03/2013 21:48

#theirs....tut tut

IBelieveInPink · 11/03/2013 21:53

MrsSpencerReid · 12/03/2013 00:00

Whoever was asking about fb you go onto their profile and click or hover over the friend box and it gives you options, on of which is don't show on my news feed or something click that and hey presto, no more "love feeling my baby move" "my bump is so big now" err no it's not you're 2w preg!! I've done this a few times recently hope everyone is doing ok and there is lots of sex occurring Wink

Bootyboo · 12/03/2013 06:11

Morning all!!

Janie & Garden 2 more days! (I don't count today as its already started Grin)

Although I feel a bit AF'y but hanging on in there - I even put nice knickers on today instead of my usual 'AF is looming' grey old granny pants!
