Brooking NO ARGUMENT that those BFPs are on the way

SweetieTime · 27/01/2013 09:23

Not started a new Fred before but hope it is successful for us as we are going to get our BFPs, either by traditional rat smacking activities or using the power of medical science.

Ladies I do declare WE WILL GET THERE - FACT !!!

ScarlettInSpace · 05/03/2013 09:47

sweetie I'm glad you're feeling more positive, it's annoying that we have to chase and chase to get anything done, but hopefully you feel a little like it's all falling into place, and you have some time to make sure you're match fit Grin

keep that's amazing, well done! you may well sneak in front of me if you are having EC Friday AM, yes I have another scan tomorrow first thing when they will decide when we are going to go for it...

Thnaks everyone for the wise words - I think I just hit a bit of a wall yesterday and those comments on another site really got to me, geek I am hanging onto the 300% improvement line can you tell I work in sales lol Last nigth I was very floppy and a bit weepy for no apparent reason - given the extreme reaction I had to down reg I wonder if the daily ov-stopper jab is creeping in a little bit and pulling me down.

I hjave booked Fri-Weds off Grin

solars are you in on Thursday?

geek I had a dream last night I was reading an article in a magazine about bad bosses and there was an interview with your dink boss who had become an internet celebrity due to one of his members of staff posting about him on a chat forum Grin Honestly! He was even referred to 'Dink Boss' that was his internet name! It was so bizarre I had to tell OH about it this morning

NoMaybeAboutIt · 05/03/2013 10:49

Morning all! Thank you so much for our kind words. We are doing ok today thanks. I am chief nurse as MrM is off work for the week understand docs orders.

Keep that's amazing news!! Well done you!

Sweetie so pleased things are moving!!

Glad the scan went well Boo

Any news Beedle?

Brooking for your next scan Scarlett

It's Thursday for you isn't it Solars? We may well be cycle buddies Grin

Hello to all lovely brookers, including the lowly grads x

keepitgoing · 05/03/2013 11:44

maybe did mrM know he was going to have the procedure yesterday? If not, that's a bit annoying in terms of sorting work and stuff. How's he doing?

Scarlett honestly try not to worry. Some people have huge numbers of eggs and there are massive drop offs in fertilisation and at each stage. Some clinics don't go for quantity but quality, which is what you're going for. Interesting you say that about the ov-stopper, I've been snappier more emotional since the last couple of days, put it down to a fat belly, but maybe it's the drugs...

Solars · 05/03/2013 11:51

Your bout of imps fingers is still lingering Maybe I assume you meant lovely not lowly :) I hope we can be icsi cycle buddies but I have a feeling we may need further tests. But yes appointment is on Thursday.

Awww Scarlett it must be the drugs, you'll be off them soon anyway and looking forward to that BFP of yours!

Sweetie I forgot to say that's great news on getting your appointment this Friday I'm brooking you can start your cycle as soon as possible now.

I'm forecasting many a BFP in the coming months, bangs gavel!!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 05/03/2013 12:31

I do indeed have a case of impitis Solars Blush. Brooking for a speedy start to your cycle.

Keep we had no idea he was going to have it. The consultant wanted to push us ahead seen as we know exactly wht the problem is! We would have had to wait for another month if not, so his work have just has to take it!

Geek I forgot to ask, how was being back at work? Did you sort out the cardiologist thing?

keepitgoing · 05/03/2013 12:36

True, maybe! Stuff work!

ControlGeek · 05/03/2013 18:54

Oooh it's all action stations here in brookersville! I'm so excited for all of the assisted brookers and can't wait til I join you :)

Sorry I've not been able to keep up for the last couple of days, work is as busy as I thought it would be and then some. The next three days will be the worst, then I'll have a week of relative calm.

Still not had time to sort out about the cardiologist maybe, but the fact that the clinic haven't bothered to get back in touch with me kind of points to it being an appointment made in error rather than something I should be worried about. How's MrM doing today? Sorry it was such a short notice procedure, but at least it minimised the amount of time you were both mentalling for.

keep nine and two - brilliant stuff! Glad everything is going in the right direction, and brooking for your EC and subsequent ET.

scarlett def hang on to that 300% line, it really is true that it's quality that matters, not quantity. Your eggs are good, as proven last time, and I am brooking no argument my lovely, this is your cycle.

cup not sure if you are still lurking, but thinking of you and hoping you are doing ok xx

Going back to work's been ok, but I've felt a lot more tender than I did at home last week. I think if we hadn't been doing a test upgrade this week I'd have probably asked to extend the sicknote. However, I am very worried about scarlett - dreaming of my Dink Boss is never a good thing, but that he has become an internet celebrity??? The worst part is I can picture him sitting on a chat show sofa, lapping it up! Hmm

ScarlettInSpace · 05/03/2013 21:05

Oooh btw speaking of dreams I had another dream last night that involved an actual bona fide BFP, good sign no? but my dreams clearly can't be trusted

SweetieTime · 05/03/2013 21:15

Geek you take it easy my lovely, it is always different after you have had surgery and you get back to work. Hope Dink Boss isnt doing your head in too much and try not to think of his new found internet status.

Well I have had a very bizarre phone call this afternoon from my GP. She actually rung me which is a first. Apparently my repeat blood results have shown up a problem with clotting but not due to excessive clotting but lack of clotting meaning I could bleed excessively. This is really weird as I don't bleed excessively normally or bruise excessively either which is another symptom. But she wants me to go to see a haematology specialist. Talk about bad timing with everything starting off for us. I think I will just mention it at the clinic and see what they say. From what Dr Google says there is very little treatment for the condition anyway so will see what they say and wait for the specialist appointment to come through. Just when you think things are progressing you face another hurdle!!

OP posts:
BeedlesPineNeedles · 06/03/2013 07:35

sweetie hope you're not worrying about the blood results too much - as you say, if it was such a problem surely you'd have noticed it. But if you do end up seeing a haemotologist just remember that you don't have to remove your pants if they want to do an examination :o

geek don't work too hard

Nothing exciting to report here - I probably ov'd yesterday, so I'm hoping to sneak a BFP in before keep and scarlett announce theirs :o

ScarlettInSpace · 06/03/2013 09:21

Morning brookers!

Well a 4th follie has decided to join the party and it isn't on the side the last nurse thought she saw an extra one last time!

Its a bit smaller than the others but it all counts!

So I've 1@17mm 1@16mm 1@14mm and now another one at 13mm, staying in jabs to give the smaller ones chance to catch up, rescan on Friday and prob EC on Monday...

keepitgoing · 06/03/2013 09:53

Ooh Scarlett yay!! Well done liitle follies!! As I was told, anything over 13mm could be mature, so by Monday I'm sure you'll have 4 potentials.

Trigger shot in -3 hours, EC in 38 hours. Get brooking for mature eggs and a decent jiaj please ladies!

sweetie did the first set of bloods show the same thing? How strange you have no symptoms of it. I think you're right to talk to the clinic, but brooking like mad it doesn't delay anything.

geek I've forgotten your AC timescale? I'm sorry work is so busy, but remember you really mustnt overdo it.

Fat belly this end... But I have to say that so far I've found the physical side very easy, and I'm not as mental as I thought saving that for the tww

beedle let's all three get our bfps within a week of each other, and be a triple almost-whammy!

SweetieTime · 06/03/2013 11:40

Scarlett brill news on the hidden follie. sounds like 400% improvementGrin Grin Grin

keep have you done the jab yet? How exciting, not surprised your tummy has grown with all those lovely eggs ripening away in there. I found it physically ok too but suppose you never know how you will react to the meds. brooking that the jiaj goes well for MrK too

Beedle I will have to remember to keep my pants on when i see the blood dr. can you imagine the embarrassment otherwise? me =Blush Blush Blush Blush Blush Blush Blush him = Blush Blush Blush Hmm Hmm Blush Blush Blush

OP posts:
keepitgoing · 06/03/2013 11:46

50 minutes. And MrK not home yet... I am v grateful I've not been too affected, but plenty of time for madness...

Pants on?? At the doctors?? Surely not.

He'd think you were making a move and you'd have to say 'no! I've just been ttc forever'. Ah, but then he might think you needed some sperm...

Best keep em on... :)

keepitgoing · 06/03/2013 12:40

Done, and he was home. No more jabs, whoop whoop.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 06/03/2013 13:13

congratulations on completing your jabs keep I'm imagining some golden eggs like in Harry Potter, but hopefully your's aren't quite that big or else it will be a bit painful getting them out. Friday's the big day isn't it?

sweetie you do realise that when you see your blood doctor you will remember our conversation about your pants and probably blush. So now even if you do manage to remember to keep your pants on he'll probably think you fancy him :o Blush

Solars · 06/03/2013 14:44

Oh gosh Sweetie it could be just one of those things that the gp has to do to dot the i's and cross the t's referring you to a specialist to make sure they're doing everything right, there may be nothing in it, in fact I'm brooking there's nothing in it. please remember to keep your pants on

Scarlett lovey this is excellent news indeed!!

Keep I can't believe you've just triggered that has gone quick!! You will have the ermm lovely pessaries/suppositories to look forward to next! I used to give DH a daily pant update when I was on those just so he could feel included in my pain joy!

Beedle did you chase up about your appointment?

SweetieTime · 06/03/2013 16:13

well done keep, woo hoo to no more jabs but booooo to the butt bullets depending on your method of delivery

Beedle I am bound to blush now and it might be a woman dr, we are all assuming it will be a man but you never know

Solars you have me blushing at your updates to dh on the knicker situation Shock Blush Shock

OP posts:
ScarlettInSpace · 06/03/2013 16:25

keep although you're collecting before me i think we will transfer on the same day as i will transfer on day 2 which will be your day 5...

keepitgoing · 06/03/2013 17:23

Yep, hoping for Wed. Great stuff Scarlett

It has been fast, I only stimmed for 5 days!

Night all

SweetieTime · 06/03/2013 19:14

I have come home to a letter from the clinic with my provisional dates!!! I am sort of excited and terrified. So they will force my AF to arrive 30/3, then I take womble lining drugs. Donor egg collection is approx 11/4, then if all goes well embie transfer will be week of 15/4. So it really will be all done and dusted one way another in April. Eeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkk

OP posts:
ControlGeek · 06/03/2013 20:02

keep congratulations on surviving your jabs, it's nearly over now lovely, just the good part to look forward to. I can't believe you only stimmed for 5 days - is that really quick? I thought it would be 14 days, like a normal pre-ov period or something.

scarlett 400% improvement!!! Go girl :) Will they still transfer on day 2 even if you get 4 fertilised and growing?

sweetie oh lovely, what a fab thing to come home to - the combined power of brooking and chasing wins again! I can't believe it's now going to happen so quickly for you. I bet the donor is a bit relieved, too - they must have been quite frustrated at waiting so long after being matched as well. please do try to remember to keep your pants on and not blush too much when remembering this conversation at the haemotology specialist's appointment

beedle brooking for your timely BFP, we could do with another tripe whammy Friday.

My timescales are (hopefully) recall for check-up and to kickstart IVF end of April/beginning of May, then fingers crossed I'll rock 'n' roll straight into stims. No sign of ov yet, but then I'm fully expecting the op to have messed this cycle around a bit. Got masses of EWCM unexpectedly earlier today, so may put on the new series of GoT and see if we can't get MrG into the mood for an early night.

keepitgoing · 07/03/2013 02:40

D'oh. I stimmed for 8 days, not five. The low end of normal, but I'd been expecting 14. Think 11 is about average, like Scarlett :)

EC at 7an tomorrow, 21 hours... V nervous. And dh's mum was meant to go home today - we've been hiding it all, she knows nothing - but lost her passport so I have to take her to the embassy today and and and. This is not what we need. Also dh really not keen to say anything, so how do we explain our departure at 5.30am tomorrow and then me in bed all day... I don't want to actually lie, so just thinking we could say I'm having a minor procedure, nothing to worry about, don't want to talk about it. Any other ideas? I kind of just wish he'd tell her, but we're not close and. What a mess, I'm just trying to stay calm, dh saying he'll sort it.

sweetie yay!! That is just brilliant news. Like maybe, once they get going it's quick! So happy for you.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 07/03/2013 05:39

keep what a nightmare. But I think as its DH's mum and he doesn't want to tell her, its up to him to think of a plausible excuse. Will he be at home all day with you to keep MIL away
But you keep thinking calming thoughts about golden eggs tomorrow

sweetie what fabulous news, finally some dates to work to. Yippee :o

ScarlettInSpace · 07/03/2013 10:09

Oh FFS another post eaten by MN Angry Angry

keep I thought my maths had deserted me entirely when you said 5 days! Nurse said 10-11 days is normal yes... Good luck for tomorrow!!! Here's to starting off a brooking IVF winning streak Wink

geek SP does follow your natural cycle, it's just keep has super-fast follies Grin I started stim on CD2, should really trigger CD12 for EC on CD14 but that will prob be a day later due to CD14 falling on a Sunday Hmm

I hadn't thought about going to blast geek until you said it - to be honest I don't think I've got the balls to risk having none unless the embryologists say they are all going super strong. I think I'd rather get 1 [2 if they'll let me/there are 2 to work with] back on board asap but a couple more eggs does mean we may have a shot at a frostie...

sweetie yay for dates! Now you can make a plan Grin

beedles how's the 2ww - any symptoms to over-analyse?

solars I have kept OH updated with every single detail to date so he feels the pain more involved Grin

Oh I am getting those funny pains in my tummy again but this time on the left side so hopefuly thats the small ones catching up!
