January BFP bus - New Year resolution - get a bfp!

I guess it's time to start a January bus for all of us who had to get off the December, November (Oct, Sep, Aug) bus.

New Year, new beginning and hopefully start 2013 off with a bang, and a load of new bfp's!

Hi zeuxippe. Am cd 39!! Driving me a bit crazy now. Was sure it was going to be bfp. Seeing as it's not I'd like Af to come now so I can get back to trying!

Oh dear. How long is your cycle normally? And what kind of tests ate you using?

I did a quick google last night and apprently lots of people only get a bfp 2+ weeks after af was due. It's also possible to get a blood test from your GP that can tell you for sure.

Cycle normally around 24 days although last one was 31!

Used 2 boots and 1 predictor test so far.

It ain't over till af comes! Keeping everything crossed for you.

It's possible all right as haven't started using opks or anything yet.

If no Af I'll test again in a week. Feels like I'm in never ending limbo at the minute.

Really sorry about BFN bajas hope your body decides one way or another soon just so you know. must be awful being in limbo

Just got a text from my cousin to say they are expecting baby number 2. They fell pregnant with baby no 1 when we were trying for our first too. I'm in tears which is ridiculous but I just feel crap.

polka it's hard isn't it. Don't even think about feeling ridiculous. Have a good cry and then do something nice even if it's just a soak in the bath. You have to be kind to yourself on this rotten emotional roller coaster

Me and DH have decided to try for dc2. I stopped taking the pill towards the end of december (can't remember exactly when)...haven't had af yet or dtd that much tbh.

DD was a surprise so we've never done the ttc business....i have no idea about cycles or ovulation or when to test. Is it too early to poas for the first time? I'm pretty sure i'm not pg but i'm impatient to get going!

I know you'll tell me off jelly, but I tested again yesterday which was cd22. Bfn. AF due Wednesday.

I looked back at last time I got preg and I tested 19 days past the date we DTD - no idea where I was in my cycle though. I didn't get any symptoms until about a week after the BFP.

I have not tested yet but I can hear the tests shouting me from the bathroom cabinet. My symptom spotting is driving me mad - latest one is a weird numb like tummy wonders if going mad as seem to be turning numb
