January BFP bus - New Year resolution - get a bfp!

I guess it's time to start a January bus for all of us who had to get off the December, November (Oct, Sep, Aug) bus.

New Year, new beginning and hopefully start 2013 off with a bang, and a load of new bfp's!

Sorry about bfn choc I'd have tested too if I was you . I'm 5 days from af and prob testing on sun, but think I'm prob out this month as just have usual pre af symptoms...

Ahh choc I'm sorry, sucks big time huh! When is the witch due? I'm not due on again until Feb 1st as this one was a bit late, so I'm out for Jan completely.....snif snif.
In life in general I am stupidly ridiculously happy, everything with OH is great,we are in a really good place as a couple, love my house and the two furballs, the only thing which would make thinks even better is a BFP! BUT my evil ex friend got to hear her second babies heart beat yday and it kicked me right in the guts.......I hate myself for disliking her so much, wish I could just not care as she doesn't deserve so much of my energy.....grrrr. Sorry.....rant over

Sorry Cleo and Chocoloulou. I feel the same sometimes Cleo* and I get of people I lile and love let alone people I do't! I think that's quite normal. But I'm gradually learning to run my own race and not worry so much about other people. It will happen - hang in there.

After yesterday second big temp dip, today I have had the mother (pardon the pun) of all temp rises ...... mahoosive in fact, so POAS and its a BFN sweary words

navis how are you doing hun? I am 13 DPO, af due Mon (6/1/13). Had left stabby pains a few days ago, lower pelvic crampy type pains since and last night had some stabby pains on right side .......... to which DH said 'Oh it could be twins' ........... at that point I went up to bed! The temp rise this morning is huge .64 of a degree. If I remember correctly, when I had DS way back in the dark ages, I didn't get a BFP until I was at least a week late. So will be a patient soul until either af or the alternative!!

My af has arrived big time with a bang. I'm gutted. Rly thought this might be my month. I'm 2 days early too. Am stuck at work & rly upset :(

I was on Dec bus, then turned out my cycles are 32 days long so was due for bfp about now, but AF very much here.

Have just had the most embarrassing experience. Called the Drs this morning as still getting really horrid cramps just on my left side. On weds i thought it was ovulation pain but since then it has gotten worse and is still going whereas my ov pain normally only lasts a day. Anyway GP wanted to see me, just been in peed did pregnancy test, had internal examination and she thinks its just ovulation pain oops, feel like an arse. does anyone else get ovulation pain lasting for days? have I already ovulated if it started 3 days ago?
Also DH got his hopes up when Dr came out of the room and he saw her knock on midwives door to get a pregnancy test. feeling embarrassed and guilty all round.

pinkbuttons I wouldn't be too if I were you. I get all sorts of cramps and weirdness which is different every cycle.
Once the cramps were so bad I had to get in a hot bath and pant (tmi alert) I could feel something pertruding from my cervix. I completely panicked assuming it was a tiny arm or leg then DrGoogle suggested polyps.Once at the surgery a nurse said she could see "something" and left the room to get a doctor. They concluded it was cervical erosion but there was nothing else. I honestly thought I was going mad. Apparently, according to the doctor, cervical mucus can become very solid and then the cervix contracts to dislodge it. Either way I was thoroughly . Still TTC #1 13 cycles/ 15 months later am just so worried to contact my GP about anything now but I suppose once I have a bfp I'll be "allowed" to.

Just read back through my post and realise how sad I sound. Despite the worry at the time, looking back it was actually quite funny and I'm sure we'll all have hilarious TTC stories to tell once we have LOs to hold while we tell them

Still on the jan bus although I am not going to the destination I hoped. God yeah we will have some tales.
bug I feel for you, I bloody hate the docs office, I told my doc I was TTC (as I thought I missed a period turns out I didn't it was just 10 days early and lasted about 4 hours ) now he wants me to have a smear....yuck! Hoping I get I WILL get a BFP this month and don't have to book it!

pink def best to get checked out-my friend had pains and they identified she has a blocked tube so best to know bout these things sooner than later. I do have bad ov pains myself-seem to hav got worse as I've got into 30s. So hopefully it's normal.

I've just been sent 12wk scan of my new nephew/niece. It's exciting but sickening all at the same time. Well jeal. Maybe this mth it's MY TURN! Only 6/7 days post ov so bit of wait yet.

I get bad OV pain too pink I get it after I've OV'd, but you can get it prior on or after Ov as the pain can be generated by different things. I guess by getting my OV pain after I OV it is when the egg is traveling down my tube? But some people have pain as they OV which I would guess is the egg being released. Someone did write an awesome explanation of it on one of these threads, might be worth doing a search for ovulation pain in messages posted in the last week?? Really was a good answer.

To be fair Dr was lovely after I apologised feeling like id waisted her time and said on the plus side I now know that I am ovulating (was going to use OPKs next month) I have Ovd very eary though, pain started on CD8 so would definitely have missed the window last month.
Did a bit of googling when we got home, apparently people get admitted to hospital thinking they have apendicitis and its actually ov pain. Have showed DH and now feel like less of a fraud

Can't keep replyroperly as I'm on the app so I can't see the pp, sorry to hear AF has been making herself unwelcome I think I ov tomorrow but DP has been suffering performance anxiety so no 'productive' DTDing has occurred he doesn't know about tomorrow so fingers crossed for DTD tomorrow and sun, am getting pennies ready for feb bus fare

Evening ladies i can't keep up as so chatty but sorry to hear the witch has found some people on the bus. Cd 13 (i think) and ages yet till ov feckin long cycles dh has decided he is in charge this month and we will dtd ever other night from when af vanished till she due again not sure how long it will last
