A wordy fred title I know, but it's too early to think of something snappier!

Get ready for the end of the world: grab your OFRS, your emergency gin supply and join us shrivelled harridans in the BESH Bunker.

Admittance is only permitted on production of a successfully completed BESHtionnaire (hint, check out previous BESH threads)

Beastly mocker, euro! I am just focussing on it as I have been struggling to get back under BMI 25 and have been hovering at BMI 25.7 for aaaages. Which would be ok, except I had such a shit day at work yesterday that I ate and drank huge and comforting amounts last night. I don't want them to think I am an undeserving heifer who can't get diffed because she eats too much.

MadameBoolala · 12/12/2012 12:08

Hello BESHlings. Just dropping off some pre-Christmas Port and Stilton.

How's tricks?

WinklyVersusTheZombies · 12/12/2012 12:08

I am scared of going to the doctor for that exact reason though am rather fatter than you norf

ArielTheBahHumbugMermaid · 12/12/2012 12:54

Poor poorly cats :( :(

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Does everyone know Boo? She is The Lushness xxxxx

When we went for our stabbing appointment, the nurse we spoke to was so much more informative than the consultant we had seen all of twice. I didn't like him - he never made eye contact and didn't appear to have a sense of humour. I hope he doesn't see up my fanny :(. She was the one who actually explained about the implications of the low AMH whereas hadn't thought fit to mention it until I asked (sorry, I know I have moaned about that twice before!) Who else is doing NHS?

Frankelstein · 12/12/2012 13:05

How's things? Grin

Good luck for the appointment Norf, and lots of strokes for all the poorly BESH kitty's out there.

maamalady · 12/12/2012 13:07

Me too, wink, my BMI has been approx 30.5 for ages and refuses to go down. It's maddening, especially when plenty of giant people get diffed no problem - I don't see why it's such a big deal, especially when all the info says age is more of a factor in any case.

OComeAllYeFaithBaby · 12/12/2012 15:13

The BMI thing is the risk during pregnancy, not getting diffed. Obviously they can't stop us heifers my BMI was 30ish when I got diffed having baybees but they can make it a criteria for not outsourcing. Cuts down waiting lists and stuff. We got a Come back when you've lost enough weight to get your BMI under 30 slap in the face at

BOoooooooo how luffly to see you! Hope you and the family are well?

ArielTheBahHumbugMermaid · 12/12/2012 15:17

I'm the other end of the spectrum. The nurse said to me when she weighed me "Oh don't lose any MORE weight!" as though I had some kind of eating disorder or was a compulsive exerciser. I told her in no uncertain terms that I'm always been like this and had a skinny family, that I had never even missed a single droid, and to try JUST TRY and withhold treatment on the basis of my weight! Well, in as many words anyway...

OComeAllYeFaithBaby · 12/12/2012 15:22

I would presume you're very physically active with your work too rie? I must confess I'm delighted my weight has remained stable since getting diffed which I put down to changing back to being on the ward so I'm much more physically active!

ArielTheBahHumbugMermaid · 12/12/2012 15:25

No not at all. I remain skinny whatever. I haven't done any active work for a month! (not saying I haven't done any actual work for a month obv). That's just how I am. Can be v annoying.

Oh well.

MadameBoolala · 12/12/2012 16:08

I've been missing ESH Christmas frolics, and I wanted to stalk keep an eye on the stabber and the skinny one. I'm also broody as hell, but I'm sure I'll get over it.

ArielTheBahHumbugMermaid · 12/12/2012 16:20

Cluck cluck cluck.

You can mother me if you like

I love Stilton.

MadameBoolala · 12/12/2012 16:37

bluer · 12/12/2012 16:42

ArielTheBahHumbugMermaid · 12/12/2012 16:54

What day was it?

bluer · 12/12/2012 17:01

7 or 8 days post lh surge...

ArielTheBahHumbugMermaid · 12/12/2012 17:03

The "day 21" test then?

Um, I can't remember what mine was. Blush

bluer · 12/12/2012 17:05

Yeah, although I had it on day 30!

EuroShagmore · 12/12/2012 17:37

I guess you probably need it repeating. I think you typically ov up to 48 hrs post the the LH surge, so it might have been a day or two early.

I personally I have no ectone poof though. Wink

EuroShagmore · 12/12/2012 17:38

Clearly I am not the right person to try to take the mick out of other people's typos....

bluer · 12/12/2012 18:16

I have no idea why my phone does that! !

FriendofDorothy · 12/12/2012 21:24

Evening BESHes. I have come here predominantly to have a rant and to be told that I am not being unreasonable. I hope that is ok. This may be a little lengthy and peppered with bad language!

My inlaws live in Manchester. We live in Guernsey so any trip to visit their first born grandson is going to involve a plane flight. So, they want to come over in January and they send us cash so we can book their flights, discuss the dates with them and book the flights.

The plan was they would come over on a flight getting in at 9pm and go back 10 days later on a morning flight. So technically be here for 8 days. Tonight The Mister's Dad kicks up a fuss saying he doesn't want to come over here for so long so he is making my lovely Mister change the flights for him so that my MIL comes over on the planned day but leaves a day early and he comes over 4 days later than her and leaves with her.

I am fucking livid because they have pissed The Mister around and I am really sorry for him that his Dad doesn't want to come over and spend time.

The only other thing I have to say that if I find out that this has got anything to do with a Manchester United home match (FIL is a season ticket holder) then I am going to hit the fucking roof.

So, am I just being hormonal and unreasonable or are they out of order?

WinklyVersusTheZombies · 12/12/2012 21:26

I also have no ectone poofs. Am I sad about that? Dunno.

My asthma has been dreadful today. I feel craptasic.

How are the poorly cats doing?
