Oh, my clinic just get their knickers in a twist about ovarian induction with clomiphine, and ovarian induction with gonadotropins, so it's designated clomid or injectables. Naice.

Not I feel like an imposter in the list. I don't akually know the clinic are going to do anything. Remember, this will be my first (!!!!) appointment with them. They better not try and fob me off

I guess, if you get bitter enough, you only hold on to the akchooal barrens the others get diffed (and or don't dare the intrude)

I am starting the contraceptive pill after next droid, then will order drucks and will start stabbing in New Year.

This is apparently a cumulative process which could take up to 8 months and would only then proceed to IVF. I could be another year yet, if at all.

Or I could conceive in the New Year

A cumulative process? That one is new to me... (But then I did conceive on the very first cycle with drucks and IUI, also I did not go on the pill first, so that is different too. Not the conceiving I hasten to add.)

So that sounds like several BFPs possible in Jan/Feb...

Cumulative in that the first cycle is very much trial and error, and their accuracy improves after that. But if we get to the end of cycle two and it's obvious I'm not responding at all, it will be Do Not Pass Go Proceed To IVF. I get 4 rounds on the NHS of IUI and one of IVF. They wouldn't offer 4 rounds if the success rate was SO low that it was a total waste of money, I guess. And they reckon in a couple where everything looks right but they're just not conceiving then it's the right way to go first. On the other hand, my AMH levels are shockingly low.

I guess I was just lucky. Their bog-standard lowest dose of drucks produced the desired egglets and a pregnancy. I guess I was distinctly unlucky that it didn't hold.

No it makes sense to try something not overly invasive first. Sorry about the AMH though. They never tested mine...

I am eating some stuff called DHEA. It will give me the eggs of a 25 year old Jethro is too.

Good you lot have been busy...almost too many posts to read but I got there! We're bunkered down for more snow at the moment.
No further baybee news but one of my friends has had some really bad news today and it has made me realise again how lucky I am but also how life is so precious.
