Dec 2012 BFP Bus!

Right ladies... for those of us that were on the Oct, and Nov 12 bus we are ALL going to have our BFP in December!!

DH and I are both taking Pregnacare (his and hers!). Worked for DS so we'll see... He did point out though that it's basically a standard multivitamin with extra zinc and something herbal but for about 15 times the price! X

hi everyone! i've just jumped off the Nov bus as AF arrived today so hopping on here if there's a seat? just enjoyed some brie for lunch since i can.

i was expecting af as we didn't have business time around the right dates but she was randomly 3 days early so i'm thinkin to get opks this cycle to check ov dates. for those that have used them, any you would suggest? can't believe how expensive they are!

Right. I've just ordered the Clearblue fertility monitor. dh says I'm not allowed to moan about not getting pg unless I'm throwing everything possible at the problem!!!

From what I understand you can only start using it from cd1 - I'm on cd10 (starting the monthly shagathon) so hopefully sod's law will kick in and I'll get my BFP before I can actually use the thing

setayharas I'm taking Pregnacare for women and broached the subject of the men's version with my dh the other day. I don't really believe that they'll do anything (apart from the folic acid for me) and dh is v skeptical, but in the spirit of trying everything possible...

Pixie I've just bought 50 ov sticks for £7.90 from amazon. One step is the brand I think.

Yeah I take the conception support, although they do make me nauseas. Oh says he'll take them but doesn't believe they'll really do anything to help either but at least he's willing to give it a go even just to shut me up!

Ooh baking... Any good at cupcakes with vanilla cream topping? I'd rip your hand off for one right now!

I that the boots conception support? I take those, they made me feel sick at first too. DP doesn't take anything tho, but does take his own vitamins.

Yeah that's them it's not just me then, I panicked that because I'm an ex smoker and it says do not take if a smoker that it was because of that that I was feeling rough.
gonna try the actual pregnacare see how I get on with them.

I carried on with the conception support but I only take them every other day. The sickness has kept away since! I work with a midwife who suggested that pregnacare was exactly the same but more expensive, so j didn't bother with those!

Frogchops I use the one step ones and they are good. Also got some hpt versions of them, I won't say they're good until I get a bfp tho!

i take sanatogen 'mother to be' vitamins - is pregnacare/conception support similar?

Pixie, hpt is home preg test! I've got the one step ones too. Mother to be is the same thing as conception support and pregnacare. But conception support were on offer. That's why I had them!

Started feeling a bit sick/dizzy this morning, then went to visit my db who announced he and sil are expecting, so not sure if my continued feeling sick & more is psychosomatic as (as much as I'm happy to be an aunty) I'm a wee bit emotional what with the MC etc. and of course I can't say anything

But, all the symptoms to appear to be starting. Cramps & my pet hate I had last time of hiccups. Hopefully not all wishful thinking and the cousins will still be a month apart just the other way

mrstwinks my db and sil also announced pregnancy today so sitting here in a downer. If we hadn't had mc in august then we would be announcing too. Hey ho just need to get on the case as soon as af buggers off.

Got pcos so plan is to dtd every other day till we get fed up with the whole ttc thing and go for drunken shagging again. Worked before so why not again

jellycurls sucks doesnt it. I think what made it a bit worse for me was our MC wasn't a secret, so we were obviously the last to know, and alot of "sympathetic" looks but no one actually raising the elephant in the room that it might be a bit upsetting to me, and how are we doing after etc etc. Not nice that it also explains why my mum (who other epic thread to explain HER) has ignored me for the last two months as I'm now surplus to requirements as her Darling son is providing her with the heir her barren (her words) daughter can't

Ah twinks, that's awful and I feel for you / my mums never said the B word but my SiL is due 28/12 and it's clear who is the most popular offspring just at present :-/ very easy to say relax, much harder to actually do (I know about that too!) but good luck - this is your baby, not your mums, so go at your pace!

thanks. I know to ignore her - I've been doing it since she first made it obvious all she was interested in from me was grandchildren and in a way I'm glad cos now it'll be easier to keep her from fucking up my kids the way she did me as she'll have DB's to concentrate on. Its still a wrench thou.

Morning everyone,

Is there still room on the bus for me? I'm meant to be poas this Wednesday but tested early today and got a BFN. I'm hoping it's because it's too early but I don't think that's the case.
You know when you have one of those months where you're convinced it's going to work this month and then it doesn't... yep, that's me this month.
So, I guess my stats will be
