QuietNinjaChristmasSpecial · 18/12/2012 22:30

Oh and poas in the morning creamtea!

tothemoon · 19/12/2012 00:14

I'm sadly off the bus. Best of luck to every one for Xmas BFP's. May see a few of you on the Feb bus (DH is working abroad till end Jan :/ ) x

deliasmithy · 19/12/2012 00:42

Thanks guys, I'm not sure on cycle length, I'm fluctuating between telling myself I'm barren, and then thinking this whole thing is ridiculous, etc. I'm going to give it a few more days and look out for ov.
If it turns out I do not ov, am I screwed? Pardon the pun! Are there meds to take to help, or is IVF the eventual solution?

Talking of other people being rubbish, I had to resort to making a formal request to ask colleagues to stop asking me about babies, being upduffed etc, as at my work its considered as mundane as asking if I want a cuppa. Arghh, mad!

paah · 19/12/2012 07:09

Morning lovelies Smile

Need some advice- anyone know anything about implantation dip? Yesterday my temp dipped by 0.5 to under my coverline on 7/8dpo. Looked back through charts and its never dipped more than 0.2 before and never gone under the coverline. Sorry for naughty symptom spotting but I've actually not been spotting them- this one just threw itself right in my face!

QuietNinjaChristmasSpecial · 19/12/2012 08:05

Sorry tothemoon, good luck for feb.

Delia I sorry I have no idea, how long have you been trying?

Paah again no idea as I don't temp. Have you got taki g charge of your fertility? Maybe the answers in there.

TakingTheStairs · 19/12/2012 08:59

Delia A lot of people have occassional months where they don't OV (including my best friend), so even if you don't OV this month, doesn't mean you won't next month.
Is this your first month of using OV sticks?

weetinselchops · 19/12/2012 09:08

Hey sorry for any bfn's. I started a January bus for anyone that would like to join me. Kettle's on to boil just now Xmas SmileJanuary Bus

JellyCurls · 19/12/2012 10:03

weetinselchops i really hope, in the nicest possible way, that i do not join you on the January bus.

About a week post ovulation, i have no symptoms to spot Hmm so i can't even rule break now.

creamtea did you POAS this morning?

Creamtea1 · 19/12/2012 10:32

Hi ladies, well I poas this morning but it was such a rush - could only give it ten mins and the very very very very faint line could be seen (by me) again but still thinking I am imagining it. I am going to do another cheapy when I get in tonight and if the line is less faint and more visible to normal people, I will crack open a FR.
Obviously I will report back here with an update!
However, I have got a bad headache and cramps so now I feel like af is coming...

tiggerishtom · 19/12/2012 10:49

Creamtea.... try a FR, my cheapies the line was practically invisible, but the FR was clear as day!

LexiLoganberry · 19/12/2012 11:13

Hi ladies, not sure how many of you remember me (I haven't read the whole thread yet so don't know fully who's on the bus) I recognise a few names though so far and will go back and read through.

I'm not really on the Dec bus as my DH and I were having a couple of months off trying but thought I'd just pop my head in, to say that I had a BFP this morning. I can't believe it, we were actively avoiding dtd around ovulationXmas Confused I can only think that I must of ovulated later than we thought.

DH is at work and won't be home till gone 9pm, don't want to tell him on the phone so got to wait ages, but I'm so excited I need to tell someone.

JellyCurls · 19/12/2012 12:20

lexi I remember you huge congratulations!!!

The same happened to us with DC2 - stopped trying as didnt want a Jan baby, avoided poss ovulation dates like the plague and my not so wee bundle arrived safe and well 9 months later

Am away to contemplate stepping off the buses for a bit now...

creamtea keeping fingers, toes and legs crossed for you

littlepinkfizz · 19/12/2012 12:27

I remember u lexi fantastic news! X

QuietNinjaChristmasSpecial · 19/12/2012 12:27

Lexi it remember you, congratulations! All these bfp so cool.

LexiLoganberry · 19/12/2012 13:13

Thanks jelly pink and ninja

Been back and read the thread, congratulations on bts's to annalou, sparkle, sara, dexi, love, kazzaq and tigger, hope I haven't forgotten anyone.

Have any of you had to do a urine sample for the doctors to confirm your pregnancy? I phoned up doctors just to ask when I need to start the midwife visits and they said they need to confirm pregnancy. When I was pregnant with DD who is now 7 (but living in a different area) the doctors didn't confirm a prenancy. Just wondered if this varies from area to area or if it's just something they do now. Just curious.

LexiLoganberry · 19/12/2012 13:14

That was meant to be bfp's not bfs's

deliasmithy · 19/12/2012 14:37

Congrats Lexi!

I think I'm just being a silly billy. End of year ground rush stress effect. Had a silly goal in my head of having Bfp before Xmas. If not, I'm going to eat my body weight in pate.

Creamtea1 · 19/12/2012 15:17

Lol Delia
I like that idea, also prawns and Stilton.

littlepinkfizz · 19/12/2012 17:35

What are my chances???? Dtd on cd 11 and unlikely to have another chance as DP has fearful toothache?hoping against hope but think I ovulate later than that as had lots of ewcm around then and a few days afterwards.Xmas Confused

QuietNinjaChristmasSpecial · 19/12/2012 17:44

Hey littlepinkfizz. I have read that sperm can survive for up to 5 days in ewcm so even if you ovulated a few days later, fingers crossed they'll stick around so there's a chance.

navis176 · 19/12/2012 19:04

tothemoon - sorry af got you - fx for Jan!

delia - how long have you been trying? I'm guessing first step is to get a referral from your GP to a fertility specialist...

paah - sorry - know nothing about temping!

creamtea - exciting stuff - keep us all updated...

lexi - congrats!

littlepinkfizz - I agree with ninja - the fellas can hang around for a few days so all is not lost!

still no af here, but bfn too...seeing geneticist tomorrow - will let you all know if she has any magical bfp solutions!

Creamtea1 · 19/12/2012 20:02

Well did another cheapo test just now and it was as faint as this morning, only visible to the obsessed eye. I'm worried I'm imagining it all now. Shall I do FR in morning? With fmu or smu?

Creamtea1 · 19/12/2012 20:47

Ok just got the test out the bin (mental) and the line is more visible, still faint but visible to a normal person. However that's obviously outside the time limit. What do you reckon? Have done tests last month and left them for hours and not seen any kind of line.

QuietNinjaChristmasSpecial · 19/12/2012 20:53
