tiggerishtom · 18/12/2012 10:43

I know I am naughty Xmas Hmm early testing early!

I have poas lots more times just to be sure... all BFP!! Xmas Grin

Creamtea1 · 18/12/2012 11:00

Just out of interest - did you get your first bfp on a cheapy or FR or other??
(has all of the above ready in cupboard Hmm )

JellyCurls · 18/12/2012 11:40

Congtiggetigger just what i need to fight off the boredom. Now wants creamtea to POAS.

Sorry will take myself to back of bus with lines saying "i must not encourage rule breaking"

tiggerishtom · 18/12/2012 12:10

I used a FR twice last night (twin pack), and both pretty clear positives.

Just for good measure, I also used two Amazon cheapies, very faint almost not there line.. If I had used these first I wouldn't have thought it was positive at all..

THEN..

I tested with two more cheapies this morning, slightly better but still very faint positive.

THEN...

I popped out and bough a cb digital and got another BFP 1-2 weeks!

I thing I have it covered and now, and might stop poas!!.....

(but still have one cb digital left and a whole 8 cheapies so who knows! Wink)

QuietNinjaChristmasSpecial · 18/12/2012 12:31

Whoop whoop tiggerish! Congrats!
Well I broke the rules I checked my cm and have ewcm! Which is weird cos I'm on cd21. Is that possible? I have no idea if I've ovulated already though did have mild period type pain a week or so ago but haven't been checking or opking at all so to sure what's happening now.

Creamtea1 · 18/12/2012 12:52

Declares to bus will poas on thurs - only reason not tomorrow as am in the office!
Ninja you could always be permitted to use an opk to check re ov situation? If it helps I am on cd20 and have it as well a little bit.

Loves tiggerishtoms multiple testing (shall be doing same if even any hint of line!)

QuietNinjaChristmasSpecial · 18/12/2012 13:21

Have you already ovulated cream?

Creamtea1 · 18/12/2012 13:32

Ninja I think I did on cd10 or 11 but I was following rules then so didn't do any opks! I've had crampy aches since thurs so could be ov'ing now I guess but that seems a long time of aches and pains.
And haven't dtd since sun so hope not!

QuietNinjaChristmasSpecial · 18/12/2012 13:34

Maybe ill pee on an opk later and see if that says anything. Aargh. This is doing my head in, just want to be pregnant already grr

Creamtea1 · 18/12/2012 13:48

Arrrrgh completely stressing now that didn't ov in middle of dtd marathon and may have ov'd in last few days or today hence feeling rough!

QuietNinjaChristmasSpecial · 18/12/2012 14:02

Oh cream don't stress. I might have ovulated already and this is just a ewcm blip! I just honestly don't know as haven't been checking. We've just been mostly doing the deed every other day and will be again tonight and thurs or fri as a precaution as can't do it once we get to Inlaws on sat. Don't panic, you know your cycles and roughly when you normally ovulated op don't you? See I don't have a clue as have never paid that much attention before only last month and this month I've been checking cm so don't know what my 'normal' ovulation time is yet.

QuietNinjaChristmasSpecial · 18/12/2012 14:11

Right have googled. Ewcm after ovulation can be caused by eostrogen which is used to help thicken the womb lining in preparation for implantation but also causes ewcm. So could be that?

Creamtea1 · 18/12/2012 14:26

Ninje let's hope is that. Last month I ov'd on cd13 I think but month before I ov'd on around cd11 and then got another positive opk around cd27! This was one of the reasons I wanted to ditch the opks to be honest as it stresses you.
Will do some googling too

I told DH we needed to dtd the tonight just incase and he said 'I thought we were having a rest!'

QuietNinjaChristmasSpecial · 18/12/2012 14:58

Oh bless him! I'm sure he'll cope! I shouldn't have checked for the same reason. Need to not stress about this stuff. I've got my fingers crossed for you.

Creamtea1 · 18/12/2012 15:29

Ok forgive me fellow bus passengers but I have broken a rule. Just poas, mental I know. I think I am 9 dpo. I also think there is a tiny soooo very faint (invisible to the normal sane eye) line. But of course now I don't know if that's only visible to obsessed me if I'm imagining it! I've done a few of these ones and scrutinised and not seen anything before. This is so faint it breaks the rules. Should I do a FR tomorrow night? I think it would be stupid to do one tonight?

Mrskbpw · 18/12/2012 15:46

Creamtea - that is very exciting! I'd wait until tomorrow if you can and test first thing. Have you got a FRER? They are 3 tests for the price of 2 in Boots at the mo. Fingers crossed for you!

I also had ewcm after ov this month (if indeed I ovulated at all - who bloody knows?!) and thought it was just a blip. I did another opk when I saw it and got a negative, though it did have two very dark lines. I'm totally confused this month.

QuietNinjaChristmasSpecial · 18/12/2012 16:13

Ooh creamtea! Excited! If you are pregnant throw so e ofyourbaby luck my way! Thanks

navis176 · 18/12/2012 18:31

ooo - creamtea and tiggerish - how exciting!!

I'm so inspired by all the rule breaking I've treated myself to a FR for tomorrow...perhaps my P needs a ridiculously expensive S for it to be happy Xmas Grin

creamtea - keep us all updated!

TakingTheStairs · 18/12/2012 18:34

Fab news for you tiggerish and sounds like for you too creamtea1 How very exciting. If there's a faint line, that sounds really good. no matter how much you will it to be there, if it's not there, then it's not there.....but yours is!

Woo Hoo!

Also, I might be first on this bus to have an epidural... but not in that way unfortunately Wink Envy Looks like I'll be having a steroid epidural for my disintegrating back. That or another 2-3 months of pain, so I think I'll be taking the injection. Fingers crossed I can get it before Christmas.

Best of luck to those of you still on this bus. Has anyone started a January bus yet?

deliasmithy · 18/12/2012 18:43

Ladies, what is the usual range of ovulation in a cycle?
Have got to day 16 of cycle with no sign, and am feeling a bit gutted...

QuietNinjaChristmasSpecial · 18/12/2012 20:12

Another friend on Facebook has announced their pregnancy. Lovely scan photos for the world to see. I could cry. I'm so pathetic. Was talking to a friend who took 2 and a half years to conceive her 2nd son which puts it in perspective but I'm so broody I can't believe. Aaaarrhrgggghhhhh

Creamtea1 · 18/12/2012 21:29

Ninja stay positive I'm sure it will be your turn soon, when are you off to PIL? Have you got tests for when you're back?
I will keep everyone updated - convinced now that was imagining the line as it was soo faint - even tried to get the test out the bin to reexamine it!!

I have a dilemma as to whether to test first thing in the morning before I go to work, or whether to leave it till I get back and test in a bit more peace/relaxation (?) in the evening.

Creamtea1 · 18/12/2012 21:34

Delia - don't worry - you still have time to ov especially if you have a longer than 28 day cycle. Lots of people ov around cd16 in a longer cycle :)

TakingTheStairs · 18/12/2012 22:13

creamtea I vote test in the morning when the hormones are strongest.

delia don't worry, ovulation ranges from day 8/10 to 20 depending on your cycle. And outside of that range is normal too. What is more important is that you have 8-14 days after ovulation before AF would be due to give time to the egg to implant. Does that make sense?

Pixie001 · 18/12/2012 22:26

Congrats Tiggerish! And I do hope it is a line for you cream tea!
Good luck with the back taking
To those currently going for it I wish you lots of bfp luck
Af has got me today...23 days ffs!!! Wtf? Have had a soft cheese and wine night with few tears and shall then hop off and await jan bus Xmas Sad. Hope not to see too many of you there.
