Jolly delighted to hear follow up scan was ok. Did they say much about your resolved bleed? Mine has really slowed down now but wasn't offered anything until 12 weeks as they weren't concerned (not in a bad way)

YikesHereWeGo · 19/12/2012 19:25

Congrats bonzo and state on the new arrivals!! Xmas Grin
And great news on the scan results tas and cheese
Good luck for tomorrow beans - I'm sure you'll be fine!
Happy pre-Christmas week everyone Brew Xmas Grin

Slowly scrolling through .....

pebs so glad to hear you're getting excited! 24 wks is a good milestone to get to.

jolly great news on the scan and that bleeding has stopped

hj hope your bleeding has stopped now. Did you get a check today?

tasmaniandevilchaser · 19/12/2012 19:35

cheese brilliant news on the amino and having a girl, I've got a DD, girls are wonderful, and the clothes are much better for girls!

lurcher lovely to hear you're feeling lots of movements, thanks for the stats on survival, rates, I didn't know that.

snorks hi, I remember you from before, remembered your name! Love the moomins! Congrats! Sorry your Epau staff are horrible, that really sucks. Hope everything is ok. I just passed a milestone of 18 wks when I'm no longer eligible for treatment at Epau, I was overjoyed! Hope that will be you soon!

Jollyb · 19/12/2012 20:32

Mrsd - I wasn't really told much about the bleed at my last scan. They saw an area measuring 2 x1.7cm close to the sac. They didn't give me any information on how long I could expect to bleed for etc, just to call back if the bleeding became heavy again. They did book me in for a follow up scan though. The fresh bleeding settled within 24 hours and then I spotted (brown grainy stuff) for another 8-9 days. I haven't bled for about 4 days now hurrah!

I saw a much nicer registrar today who was really thorough when scanning and couldn't see any residual haemorrhage - I wish I had seen her last time. It sounds like you're in a very similar position and I hope eveyrthing goes ok for you.

Wow what lovely news state and bonzo enjoy every minuteGrin

HJBeans · 19/12/2012 21:58

Missed your happy scan news last time I was on, jolly. So glad it went well and the worrying bleeding has stopped.

Congrats on your 20w scan, tas, and on your little boy-in-the-making!

Thanks for kind thoughts, all, I did go in for a checkup at the local HR today although I've had no further spotting today. Everyone there was lovely - both kind and professional - and they did blood tests and both internal and external scans. Blood results not back yet, but scan was perfect. Embryo with wee limb buds visible, measuring bang on 8 weeks and with a heart rate of 163. Very relieved and pleased. Know I'm not out of the woods yet, but statistics are very good at this stage and that's great to know. First time I've ever seen anything in there on a scan. It's fantastic.

Dorita75 · 19/12/2012 22:22

Massive congratulations state and bonzo! And to jolly bet you're relieved, great news.

We had good appointment at Liverpool fertility clinic today, dp's sperm ok, I've just got another blood test, then appointment in Jan to decide options, they think IVF. It's bit nuts, only asked doc about tests as a sideline to migraine issue, and here we are on a road to treatment.....I don't mind, feel like it's happening on the side of us ttc ourselves, it's only been 10months since mc so not worried, but good to be in the queue so to speak....

tasmaniandevilchaser · 20/12/2012 10:16

dorita good news on the tests, it's definitely good to be in "the queue"

beans brilliant news! The stats are indeed on your side now, must have been so amazing to have seen your little bean for the first time. What a great early Christmas present.

jolly great you have good news too, and a follow up scan is great too. It's so good to feel looked after with kind professionals and thorough care, they do say it improves outcomes.

mrsd glad your bleed has slowed down, how are you today?

Lots of good news lately, long may it last! Xmas Smile

Jollyb · 20/12/2012 10:54

beans so happy to hear your news. Apart from my first pregnancy with DD this is the only time I've seen anything positive on the scan too. Finally sinking in that i might end up with another baby. Having a mini metal today as feeling less nauseous but I think part of my nausea has been worry about the scan.

dorita onwards and upwards. Glad the clinic are moving things forward for you - bet you'll get your BFP in the next few weeks now .

Bought my last present today hurrah. One day of work and then Christmas begins . . . .

mrshp any news yet?

Hi everyone, just a quick line, 32 weeks here. Have an appointment for the stitch to be taken out in three weeks!! Shock

Hope everyone is ok and big congrats to state and mrspear

Xx

Mrsd77 · 20/12/2012 16:48

Hi tas thanks for asking.... I feel terrible!! Hopefully in a good way though as I've been ever so sick for the last few days. Got to the stage where I'm having to run! Hoping I might shed a few pounds before I pile some more on!

Feel a bit stretchy today and a smidge more blood. Can it be linked to being dehydrated does anyone know? Just had another blood test to check hcg.

Great news on your scan beans, there's nothing like it!!!

MrsHerculePoirot · 20/12/2012 19:24

So nice to read everyone's good news. Especially HJ's first time for a happy scan.

I did a test yesterday and it was negative. Today I have my pre period headache so reckon AF will be here tomorrow or Saturday. I think I'm going to follow dorita's lead and ask Gp about options. It has now been two years since TTC DC with one mc midway through.

Dorita75 · 20/12/2012 23:21

Go for it Mrshp we're 18months ttc with one mmc, and it was my high fsh result that got us the appointment at hospital. I'm 38 in February so think that helped. Not got all our hopes pinned on treatment but just reassuring to know we're 'in the system'

Jollyb · 21/12/2012 08:55

Sorry to hear things aren't looking positive Mrs HP - but it's not over yet.

I agree it would be a good idea to see your GP. It's best to be proactive and get yourself in the system sooner rather than later.

Hope everyone's ok
state hope baby lily is behaving for you.

Sorry for not checking in for a while been crazily busy at work and still got one more report to write/issue before the end of the day!

Huge congratulations on your new arrivals bonzo and state! Grin - state i can't believe how quickly your little ones birth has come round!

Also yay to HJ and Jolly on your positve scans and to cheese on your amnio results and little girl. When's your 20 week scan? Also when's yours wilde* or did i miss it?

Hi to tas - for some reason (and i'm sorry) but i had kept forgetting that you're at the same stage as me, wilde and cheese until i've seen you on the May thread again recently. Yay for your good 20 week scan and little boy! Hope you feel better soon.

As for me, i have my 20 week scan this afternoon. Suddenly got really nervous about it last night and am really strongly trying to just get on with my work mumsnet and resist the urge to get my doppler out as the poor little thing will get prodded and poked enough later and i only listened in a few days ago and everything was fine then. Just getting really paranoid after my previous mmc and becuase I've not felt any movements yet. It is my first pg to have got this far and at my 12 week scan i had an anterior placenta but i feel like i'm one of the only ones left on the May board who hasn't felt any movements yet.

MumTumWanted · 21/12/2012 10:21

Just checking in ..
Hurrah for all the great positive news on here Grin Its such an inspiring thread I hope we give hope to all those that have suffered the terrible experience of mc xxx and strength to those when we need it most.

Lurcher how's you ???

I'm feeling very strong movements now but has only been for the last week or two at 23+2 now so I was beginning to worry ...as its my 2nd dc it's thought h feel earlier but didn't happen in my case ..... But it's amazing the sanity it brings. GrinGrinGrin

Can't believe that when I told the close family after my 12 week scan they were all excited about buying stuff and in my full metal jacket I told them all not to even think about until Xmas never for a minute thinking I would get that far and yesterday my mums trying to plan our first shopping trip now ' the time is nearly here' its lovely in one way but petrifying in another ....,

Kiddicare has just opened at lakeside I did venture in scared myself and walked out in a cold sweat !

Gingerbread and chocolates anyone ??? Here's a huge plate full dig in ladies Smile

LittleSpade · 21/12/2012 18:31

Just checking in to say that I had my scan this afternoon and eveything is fine - all measurements looking normal Smile

Baby was fast asleep though despite lots of poking by the sonographer and had its legs crossed with the cord between them so we didn't manage to find out the gender - guess we'll be waiting then!

backwardpossom · 21/12/2012 23:51

Glad the scan was good, spade!

I'm 29 weeks today... Feeling very uncomfortable at the moment as between out for a meal with some colleagues and am stuffed. Ugh!

MrsHerculePoirot · 22/12/2012 19:50

Glad the scan went well littlespade.

AF just arrived here, just in time for Christmas... Grrrrrr.....

Dorita75 · 23/12/2012 20:50
