red really sorry. I have to admit I feel a little better with taking a break from ttc till post Xmas.

You will get pregnant again but you have to remember there is only a 20% (ish) chance every cycle. So it could take a while. There's nothing for it but to keep trying.

winkle - we err spread the love around and try to dtd right thru from atound cd6-24. Partly thats cos of my irregular cycle and the fact that i cant use opks, but its also the nhs guidelines for ttc and what zita west recommends. Its a slog tho some nights when you are wrecked! But both times i hav been pg its been due to agnus castus & copious shagging...

Im.back off the mountain, bit tired and thoroughly frostbitten but it was v fun too. Cd26 today, af usually due around cd32/33 tho not sure after mc. Not going to test til Thurs. Not feeling pg but not feeling like af en-route either. Stuck in limbo land!!!

Spent the afternoon with four pregnant women.

Oh well. It will be my turn next year. I am convinced it will happen, just going to spend 2012 getting into good shape for a pregnancy.

Thanks for answering girls. Hub said today he would make more of an effort to dtd even when the monitor says low. He said maybe he was over thinking things :) Bit like a woman hey?!

We're thinking of going to The Fertility Show next weekend, some interesting talks and we figured we'd get some answers to our questions whereas our GPs have not been very helpful to date.

I think advice is to dtd all month, not just when af's coming. I started cd6 and am still going today, cd32. I think I'm just going to keep at it and pretend the 2ww is not even happening. Eod would be only 7 shags then the 2ww is over!

I'm expecting af anytime from cd40 really, but if she turns up earlier at least my cycles are getting shorter.

I had a great time out Last night. Didn't get back to the hotel until 4.30am, so am getting an early night tonight.

I am okay, gutted but going to have to move on to next month. I am scared and told DH I hope this ttc journey doesn't end up making me bitter. I just feel so angry on some days like this whole thing is so mentally draining and unrewarding each month. Just feel very pissed off with fate, god or whatever else it may be.

Anyway rant over. So next month I am ditching the temps, OV sticks and any thought of ttc. I want to go back to pre-ttc, not knowing my cycle days or OV days. Just having sex and see how that works out

Ah, red I feel your pissed-off-ness, and you should feel like that, it's not fair. I do believe it will happen for all of us though. I think stopping temping etc and having sex throughout the month is a good idea. And get back to enjoying it, rather than to try and make a baby. It will give your mind a rest for a while. I'm trying to be more relaxed about it, but I bet I'll be finding it hard in a few more days time.

I'm just waiting for af to show up at some point today. I tested yesterday at 12dpo and bfn and although I expected it I was still a bit gutted.

So I have orderd some more ov sticks and will be bonking like bunnies every day dh is here which, coincidentally, is over the whole ov period - before, during, and after So thankful his shift pattern changed slightly!

I just don't know what my body is playing at... I say to it "Come on - hurry up and let me get pregnant!!!!". I talk to my body on some crazy days like its not a part of me. Because I want something so bad but yet its like my body has a mind of its own. eeeek! I think I am slowly approaching insanity :)

Exciting news in the kitten household - I got a +ve opk last night, woopwoop! We dtd Saturday and Sunday mornings, and (grudgingly!) again this morning, so fx we're in with a chance this month.

Hope everyone feeling more positive. I had a lot to drink at the weekend to enjoy my non pregnant status. Oh well.

Ooh kitten that's brilliant. I'm not feeling much of anything really to be honest. Had a 3 day migraine which finally went yesterday so that probably blocked all my usual pmt symptoms :)

CD11 here, have DTD CD9 & 10 so far and will be going tonight agan if I'm back home at a reasonable hour (going out after work).

Had a lovely day with dh today...both off work so ds was in nursery as usual...went out for breakfast this morning & went to cinema this avo to see the new james bond (was good), & even managed a cheeky wee dtd session early afternoon. All topped off by a smiley on the opk tonight so may need to entice dh later again .

Ds seems a bit under the weather tho...he was cuddling into one of the staff all rosy cheeked, snotty, coughing & generally feeling sorry for himself, wee soul . Hoping a day at home tomorrow will sort him out.

Cd27 for me. Not feeling tired or nauseous. Boobs do not hurt. I'll be poas on Thurs but not feeling like it will.be a bfp at this point. My skin is a bit dodgy tho and when I was tidying the kitchen earlier I had a massive head rush / dizzy spell which was v weird. Anyway suffice to day I am still a bit hopeful despite obvious absence of more usual symptoms...

I am doing well littlemiss I decided not to waste another tear on ttc till I get bfp. First time I haven't cried since period arrived. Feel alright so far. Your symptoms sound promising especially the dizzy spells. How long till you can test?

Ha ha, just dtd under the covers with me at first being all 'DON'T let any cold air get in!' Is alright after a bit but I hate being cold.

Cd33 today, I'm paranoid to stop dtd in case I'm having a super long cycle. Not going to test until at least cd44 yeah right, like I'm that patient

Grr - I was in town this morning meeting a friend to go wedding present shopping for another friend's wedding. Was walking past Superdrug en route to meet friend. Bought a 2 pack of hpts to use on Thurs. Caved in and used one today (silly girl). BFN. Boo!! So stupid testing early - now I'm all but I'm still sort of hoping that I'll get a different result when I test again on Thurs morning. Which is why I should have waited until then to test. Ho hum. But tbh although I had that brief vertigo head rush thing y'day and my skin is a bit dodgy, the utter lack of sore boobs, even a bit tingly or sensitive, makes me think that I'll still see a BFN on Thurs so I'm probably out for this cycle. And cos my cycles are more like 5 weeks rather than 4 I will be pushing it to get a bfp in 2013. Wahh!!!
