New thread! Come on girls, lets all get pregnant!!

SunshineOutdoors · 18/10/2012 19:46

Oh winkle I'm so so sorry. I really hoped it would happen for you. Hate the shit feeling of injustice, sorrow, anger and more sorrow. It is unfair and I know nothing I say will make you feel better. You do need to really treat yourself, have a good cry, do whatever you need to do over the next few days and then it will get easier and you'll be ready to try again.

I feel Angry that too many people have been on these threads for too long.

Sending you a big virtual hug

MrsBri · 18/10/2012 19:46

I'm so sorry, winkle...will you carry on with the soy though?

And I hope DD gets better soon, when.

It is awesome here, yes. :-)

SunshineOutdoors · 18/10/2012 19:47

Wine for you too

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 18/10/2012 20:31

winkle2 · 18/10/2012 21:00

redstrawberry · 18/10/2012 21:07

Oh winkle I am so sorry Sad don't know what to say. Life is shit at times like these. Please be good to yourself and take each day at a time.

Big hug to you and hope your new job is starting soon so it gives you something else to focus on. Spoil yourself this weekend xxx

winkle2 · 18/10/2012 21:12

New job starts in a month so that's something to focus on. Going to try not to let it get me down cause we all know thinking about it doesn't help [rolls eyes]

OP posts:
woody17 · 18/10/2012 23:19

Really sorry winkle xx

winkle2 · 18/10/2012 23:23

Thanks woody.

Had a little cry about it earlier and husband says he really doesn't know what's left to say.

Lolcbcblemonlime · 19/10/2012 07:55

What's your new job winkle? Is it same company or a brand new one?? More money??? Def something to keep your mind of things for a bit!

winkle2 · 19/10/2012 09:22

Lol - new job, new company, much closer to home. No pay rise but will be saving £200 a month on travel. The benefits far outweigh the money side of it. And I've hated my job for two years! Tried to leave a few years back but then we got married and then stuck it out for another 18 months cause we were TTC. And then that hasn't happened so I just focused on getting a new job.

OP posts:
winkle2 · 19/10/2012 09:26

I'm now holding out for 'they were trying for 14 months and nothing. As soon as she started a new job she got pregnant' anecdote.

OP posts:
woody17 · 19/10/2012 09:57

winkle hope you are doing ok. New job sounds like it has a lot of benefits. When do you start your new one?

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 19/10/2012 10:04

winkle that's what happened to my cousin. She had v stressful job. Got another one, it took a few months after that but she is now due in Feb (she was trying for 18 months).

winkle2 · 19/10/2012 10:50

Hi woody I start 4 weeks today!

when - thanks I think I remember you talking about your cousin before. Yes, I'm hoping that not having to travel over an hour every today to a job I hate will help with the stress level and consequently get me my BFP!

I keep thinking though that I must have done something really bad to someone somewhere along the way for this to be happening to me.

Sad

Life doesn't work that way winkle. Shit things happen to the best of us. Wish I could say something to make you feel better but I can't, I am still certain if will happen for you. I just don't know when.

Kittenkatzen · 19/10/2012 12:45

:( winkle don't care if i'm not supposed to that here don't have anything to add that can make you feel better, but at least you know we're all here with you. Am v Envy of your new job, sounds fab and I would love to be able to ditch my commute!

when hope your dd has stopped pooing and is feeling better now

Happy Friday everyone.....anyone got nice plans for the weekend? I have no plans at all which is awesome...might do some baking :)

LittleMissSnowShine · 19/10/2012 16:22

winkle - oh ffs!!!! You poor thing, i am furious on your behalf, its just not fair :( :(

kitten - yes malteaser squares are a real thing, u shd make some this wkend if ur baking! thegoddesskitchen.blogspot.co.uk/2008/08/deluxe-malteser-traybake.html?m=1

No news here, quiet wkend planned, resolutely ignoring wine and staying away from the vino. Dtd last night so night off tonight, dh going to a gig later and i really think.ov has already happened, just really.hope we caught it!! Off for a halloweeny walk in forest park with ds now!

winkle2 · 19/10/2012 17:22

Thanks girls. Must be as tiring for you to perk me up as it is for me to be going through this!

Got a busy weekend ahead meeting friends both sat and sun so will have a couple of glasses of wine and nice food.

Might start a diet on Monday ? might help??

OP posts:
LittleMissSnowShine · 19/10/2012 20:07

Yay for friends, wine & busy wkends, exactly what you need winkle - i dont know about diets, i fell pg easily with ds and i was pretty slim from having dieted to get into my wedding dress so I thought my weight/diet might have helped but i got pg just as quickly the last time and im at least a stone and a half above what I weighed round time of the wedding so don't do anything too drastic! That said i do follow some of zita wests tips re caffeine, alcohol etc when ttc, I take vit supplements and this month i've been trying a flax/linseed/goji berry thing. No idea if I'm more fertile but my hair looks shiny!!

weechops · 19/10/2012 20:20

winkle sorry :( It's so shit for you.

I don't know if I'll even ov this month. cd18 and no smiley. Of course it had to be the month that I have dh home at the perfect time grr. I'm now torturing myself with the thought that even if I do ov tomorrow (ish) then my LP will only be 9/10 days so not much chance of a bean sticking.

LittleMissSnowShine · 19/10/2012 22:25

weechops - maybe u just.missed the surge with yr opks?? I know they are v handy but they're not foolproof so fx thats been the case...

CM (sorry tmi) has been kind of watery / ewcm last few days but tonight its back to being a bit stickier so I think thats maybe another sign ov has already been and gone but i never ov so early so cant quite wrap my.mind round that. Wish we hadnt taken the day off on cd14 but hopong that cds 10, 13, and 15 will have me covered...stupid 2ww...

SunshineOutdoors · 20/10/2012 07:46

Shit, dh too tired and stressed thurs night, and then went out last night and I fell asleep before he got back Sad thought we'd dtd this am but dd's already up. Hoping she'll have a nap this morning, worried I've missed my opportunity now. So much for every day Sad

winkle2 · 20/10/2012 09:49

Dtd this arvo or tonight sunshine, you'll be fine :)

SunshineOutdoors · 20/10/2012 10:28
