We filled the last one so I thought I would start no 2.

Asking this as a poas virgin - how effective are the early tests? I am going to try to hold out for AF again this month but if I cave what are the chances of an accurate test.? Eg if I make it to 13dpo will the test work? Also I read on here the SuperDrug non-digital are best - any thoughts? And also, erm, logistics - is it easy enough to actually get the p on the s?

Or you could tell me to be strong and if I don't buy any I can't start an unhealthy obsession. I have been strong for 6 cycles so I'm not sure why I think my resolve is weakening this time!

Hi swimming I don't know much about hpts. My poas obsession mostly involves opks.

I have heard a lot of good things about the superdrugs tests. At 13 dpo most will probably work for you.

@swimming. 13 dpo should do u, all things being equal. Some can get a positive at 9 or 10 dpo. I tend to pee in a pot and stick the test in it. Generally easier, however I have accidentally thrown pee all over toilet floor and myself. But that's just me!

Just seen a thread from whiteandyelloworchid In the mc section, I was on a thread with her months back and she's just mc at 12 wks, just gues to show what I was saying before, I remember being so jeleous of her and now shes in a horrible horrible position I wouldn't wish on anyone!! Really sad for her

storm I have cupboard envy! What goes in a TTC cupboard I'm intrigued?!

Countless OPKs of different varieties
10 boxes of 5mg Folic Acid + Pregnacare x4
18 different HPT's from internet cheapies to Digithingy's
BB Thermometer and 12 Charts (plus the charts from when I last conceived for info LOL)
1 CBFM and 2 boxes of sticks
I've even kept my positive tests from when I found out I was PG with my DS in there

I have a peak in there once a week - I don't know why

oh forgot disposible plastic cups to pee in - I bought more the other day to replenish stocks as I used some for a picnic we went on (they hadn't been pee'd in).

Oh god storm. I thought I was quite a beginner in this but I seem to have most items on your list! I have mine in 3 different drawers so as DH doesn't panic when he sees some of the stuff.
I also have some pregnacare I started taking when fell pg but stopped on mc. And epo.

I've even stolen a business cars holder to pee in

My stash is tiny in comparison...a box of CB OPKs, an envelope of cheap tests and a twin pack of CB conception indicator tests. Plus a tealight holder for pissing in. :-)

Nic you are right!!! We WERE going to try and now we are NOT and do you know what, I've been sat here pondering my life and what started as a jokey 'I want a part in the film' comment, and after revealing the contents of my waiting to TTC cupboard, it's made me realise how much I've been dwelling on everything that has happened, this whole waiting to TTC crap and that I'm obsessing over what IS NOT HAPPENING.

I don't belong in your fantasy film or your thread right now and staying here is simply prolonging my own frustrations and I think I need to lock that cupboard and leave this thread, for a little while at least. I'm ready to move on........look after myself, my relationship and enjoy my little boy.

So that is what I shall do! I'll lurk most probably as I will want to check for updates and BFP's which I know you'll get in abundance but I won't be posting and butting in.

I didn't the thread to cause such deep thoughts on a Saturday night. I understand where your comming from, it would be difficult to not jump on the band wagon with all of us and if you are not TTC maybe a step back is what you need, I know I've had some revelations this weekend too where deep down I know we will have another dc, I don't know when but I don't want to miss my beautiful dd growing up so I'm going to try to enjoy every minute and when it's ment to happen it will, I think mc and what could have been has sent me abit crazy at time but that's what it does
Do what's right for you but there will always be a place for you in our film if you change your mind

weechops that is the kind of thing I would do RE Facebook photos. Yesterday my sister came round and I saw that my pregnacate packet was sitting on the microwave for the world to see...I wonder if she noticed :-/
